Can anybody even read it? Your MS Paint skills need some work.

Fuck off you Mormon cunt Joseph Smith was a lying conniving sack of shit and deserved what he got.

Mormonism is a cult as you can see in the bottom right corner in the graph.

>early church of christ
>independent baptists

I hate how prots always to shit on constantine for "starting the evil catholic church"
he helped put an end to rome's persecution of christianity. he wasn't a saint but he was at least a decent guy.

Yeah but now all the pagans in the senate being converted over just to justify their seats, but sadly it corrupted the church with its pagan traditions by converting them to fit to Christianity

That's not very Christ-like of you.
The LDS Church isn't a cult, go to mormon.org and read what they actually believe in

Too many people on this site get "information" from .jpegs, it's more convenient that digging up actual facts.

They believe in another Bible, I think that's pretty cult-like.

there's nothing inherently wrong with incorporating some folk traditions into christianity as long as it's not heresy. christianity is meant to be for all nations, even st paul said that gentile converts didn't need to become like jews just to be christian.

Goes to show you don't know anything about them
Mormons believe in the Bible (KJV version)
The LDS Church just has more than one book in it's scripture, the Book of Mormon goes side-by-side with the Bible and reaffirms the message of Christ as the saviour of man.

That is genuinely too retarded for words. That's 20 seconds I'll never get back. Fuck you.

Why do you believe in another Bible then? You believe in many different Gods and don't believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. It's just wrong.

Explain?

If God was real, he wouldn't let a false church rule the world for over a thousand years, and still be the overwhelmingly dominate faith today.

the independent baptist part is pretty stupid
pastor anderson is an 'independant bapist'
the early churches were not independent in any real way.

Like if God gave a fuck about this

Probably eating omniscient omnipotent popcorn and having great omniscient omnipotent fun

but the earliest churches that Paul visited were completely independent. Up until about 300 AD there was no central authority within Christianity, and scholars still are not sure how Christianity grew so rapidly from 33 AD to 350 AD when Christianity was forced to become the state religion of Rome to remain in control of the empire.

the earliest Christians were simple people who believed the gospel and practiced baptism. the churches that the apostles and disciples started were independent baptist churches. That's a fact my friend.

The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus & was set into Rome by Paul.

Be don't have another Bible. We have THEE Holy Bible, coupled with another Holy Book.
And Christ is a god manifest in the flesh, but he is NOT the Father. He is the Son, our Lord and Saviour.

You believe in millions of Gods out in the universe (heresy). You also believe that there is another Bible, which is a cult Bible written by Joseph Smith and Peter Young.

We only worship God the Father.
The sacred scriptures are:
1. The Holy Bible (The KJV version, written 180 years before Joseph Smith)
2. The Book of Mormon
3. The Doctrine & Covenants

Orthodox is the only not gay version of Christianity

what do you think the letters to the churches in the NT are even about? paul is telling them all what to do, he is a central authority figure between the churches, along with the other apostles. they baptized people but they also ordained priests to preach the gospel after they were gone. the church wouldn't have survived without it.

There's a lot about the Catholic church that I don't quite like. Pope Francis' excessive cuckoldery & repent pedophilia are a couple of examples. That said, it is the one true church, which is why the Satanic pedophiles are trying to pervert it. P.S., Everyone should read this book: amazon.com/dp/1888729546/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_sep9zbMEVM9XS

There is only 1 God, but you believe in millions of different Gods out in the universe. You believe in polygamy, and you believe in false Bible versions.

Paul the Apostle is mentioned as the LAST APOSTLE. Joseph Smith is a fraud.

>paul is telling them all what to do
I agree about that, he was teaching them about doctrine and the gospel. But he wasn't a centralizing authority the way you describe. He simply walked around preaching the gospel, and the NT says that, "As was the manner of Paul, he often walked in to churches to call out heresies", etc. It wasn't his job to be a boss over them or to unite them.

The thing about ordaining priests is not Biblical either and not what they did. We are a priesthood of believers, so "priests" don't need to be ordained.

They look like gay wizards though.

the church of rome was not founded by constantine.
silly graph

it is biblical, the early churches had elders and councils of elders. elder is literally what the word 'priest' means. laypeople are their own priesthood in a sense but there is a hierarchy to it. st stephen was the first deacon, for example.

Jesus told us not to call anyone "father", we should call church leaders bishop, elder or pastor. Yes, St. Stephen was the first deacon because deacons are actually in the Bible and are biblical. But just because the early churches did something doesn't mean it's automatically correct. There was heresy back in their day too, remember when Paul walked around scolding pastors?

extremely inaccurate chart.

you're forgetting the pearl of great price... also known as an Egyptian burial manuscript.

>call no man father
jesus said that to his disciples to show the hypocrisy of the pharisees. that verse is better understood in context of whole pasage
Then said Jesus to the crowds and to his disciples, "The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat; so practice and observe whatever they tell you, but not what they do; for they preach, but do not practice. They bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with their finger. They do all their deeds to be seen by men; for they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long, and they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues, and salutations in the market places, and being called rabbi by men. But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brethren. And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. Neither be called masters, for you have one master, the Christ. He who is greatest among you shall be your servant; whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

God is the Father in heaven because he created us all, is what Jesus is teaching here, but there's still a patriarchy on earth. obviously you would call your physical dad 'your father' and we call priests father in the same way we call Abraham father. it's a spiritual heritage.

That's not a valid reasoning. Calling your biological dad your father is not unbiblical, because your dad is quite literally your father. But calling a "priest" your father is actually contradicting the Bible.

You are "making the word of God to be of none effect". Don't you see that you are ignoring the word of God by calling priests father? A priest is not your father in any way, and Abraham is not your father. But your dad and God are your literal fathers.

Jesus also said that if your right eye causes you to sin then you should pluck it out. you're not supposed to literally do it, Jesus often speaks figuratively and with hyperbole.

I agree, but Jesus is not being figurative when he tells us not to call anyone our father. It's pretty clear when the Bible is figurative or hyperbole ("hate your father and mother").

And even so, why insist on calling your religious leaders something that Jesus told us (figuratively or otherwise) not to? Why even take the risk, what's the point? It's like you're taunting God.

>People have forgotten that Mormon's aren't Christian without their daily reminders
