>mysterious Black Mustached Knight
I wonder if Azan will actually have any story purpose. Or if he's just sort of there now. Like Magnifico.

I miss this big guy.

Azan has literally become a minor character in more ways than one.

He isn't important anymore, and he has become a manlet. He used to be slightly taller than Farnese, now he's slightly taller than Isidro.

What i'm getting at is that he probably won't be important for quite some time, if at all

I actually like the new anime. AMA.

He seems to be an observer, he just sits back and watches everything unfold.

If i can't stand watching the '97 anime, will the 2016 be any better?

I've seen parts of the '97 anime and the movies, and i don't really like them. The manga blows everything waaay out of the water.

This chapter really made me feel sad for Farnese.
She's honestly pretty underrated as a character

What's your favorite part?

The OST to the 90's series is fucking great. Put it on while reading the manga for the 10/10 Berserk experience. Literally all the new series has going for it is HAI YO and that its finally adapting material after the Eclipse... but does so while skipping stuff like the Lost Children

>will the 2016 be any better
I was a big fan of 97 Berserk. Not so much the 2016 version.

>I actually like the new anime

Fuck you, you don't deserve to post best girl.

I can't believe this is real. It's like fucking Gumby.

>The OST to the 90's series is fucking great.
Oh i am well aware of Hirasawas awesomeness.
The VA and pacing is what throws me off. And the art isn't particularly detailed, which is ofc understandable, it impossible to reach the manga level in terms of detail, which is why i prefer it

>reading while listening to guts' theme and earth
>action scenes coming up
>switch to murder

I thought it had solid atmosphere, despite the low budget.

Would you?

If no, what if the smell was non-existant?

You gotta have a good CGI tolerance. Knight of Sydonia and Ajin was good training. You don't have that, you probably won't make it. Also, the manga has blown, blows, and will blow any adaptation ever out of the water. Overrall, I'd say the good parts of 2016 are better than the good parts of 97. The bad parts of 2016 are a thousand bazillion times worse.

From what I've seen from the community, the people that really hate 2016 are all all about the manga, so you probably won't like it.

The scene when Guts rushes into the heretics' lair and finds Casca was really hype. Mozgus in the last episode was probably the best CGI we've had so far (Ain't much, but it's something).

Pic related. :^)

Farn's probably my favorite addition to the new group.

of fucking course I would

Guts wouldn't, so I wouldn't.

>Hirasawa
So can someone explain to me why he's so praised?

I feel like 2016's OST has its songs repeated waaay too much and nothing really seems to stand out that much aside from the fact that a song may be repeated several times between 2 episodes.

I don't even remember the movie's OST, and the original anime had great atmosphere, but outside of the context that is Berserk, isn't really that noteworthy.

I liked Ajin, but found Berserk 2016 hard to get through.

CGI aside, I think the 97 still trumps the new version in terms of pacing. They finally have another full season to work with, and they skip things like The King of Midland's dream and Lost Children, but have time for filler apostles.

>playing the credits and ED music over Serpico and Guts's first confrontation

>Gennon went crazy
>Casca went crazy
Griffith is the best lay you'll ever get

>Charlotte didn't
Idk man.. And she was a virgin..

He serves no purpose, though, and Miura had no reason to bring him back. He obviously wants him there for something. I feel like he's there for good.

I've been saying it for half my fucking life, but Silat will end up joining Guts, too. Then he'll have almost as many useful people as Griffith. Almost.

>They finally have another full season to work with, and they skip things like The King of Midland's dream and Lost Children, but have time for filler apostles.

The series felt pretty rushed as is, 12 episodes isn't enough to adapt The whole Conviction arc including Lost Children. The filler apostle episode was shit, but there was no way they could fit the BS arc in too, so I guess they had to compromise.

Does Guts ever take off his armor after a hard day's running? What do you think his feet smell like?

What about Zodd eventually joining up?
Of course, with the promise of him and Guts getting a final one-on-one after everything is over.

He did Hai Yo for the new series and Aria for the films, and I think that's it. Which is why the rest is kind of forgettable. He has a great understanding of Berserk and really tailors the music to it, Sign youtube.com/watch?v=gV26zIE0130 from the PS2 game captures the essence of Berserk almost perfectly. I don't think its possible to not get hyped up when Forces plays. The weird otherworldly sound he has with his music in general I really like, be it Berserk and Paprika's soundtracks or his other work.

I adore the Paprika intro.

Gennon was always crazy.

>Casca gets healed
>Guts and the gang gain new allies/magic or whatever
>head to Falconia
>everyone dies
>except Guts and Casca
>they manage to kill Griffith together
>it's all over
>time skip
>we find out Guts and Casca have settled down
>they have some qt children
>Guts looks out the window
>final panel is a hill of swords

screenshot this

Something big might happen to shake the group but I doubt that Miura will massacre the entire party again.

>Casca gets healed
>When she comes to, she realizes all she craves in life is Griffith's beautiful face and cock.
>She grasps the Behelit and sacrifices Elf island and the Band of Guts, but not Guts because he's already branded.
>She's a demon goddess and Zodd comes and taxi's her to Femto, and they start fucking constantly forever.
>Guts ends the suffering.

Watch the dub faggot

In honor of your get, I'll hand out a (you).
You posted this in the last thread so fuck off.

If you really think about it the eclipse is the only time Miura ever went full Tomino with his characters. Its mever happening again, its a one time backstory explanation of why Guts is pissed off. The new party will survive

>Berserkeeer

do you really think everyone will survive a full blown battle against a god (that is, if Griffith can turn back into Femto) and his army? I don't think they'll all die, but someone will.

was meant to be towards

Griffith can turn into Femto at any time. He did it when in Shiva's head.
Hell, his current form is only a costume that Femto is wearing.

Some of the fight scenes are pretty good if you dont nitpick and just enjoy it for what it is. However when there isnt action going on its pretty easy to notice all the QUALITY

...

He's going to challenge what the pope know's about griffith & his "dream"

...

Pretty much, yeah. The downtime between HYPE is just always kinda awkward and jerky. Unless there's Skelly Knight. But then again, SK is totes HYPE.

>Gennon

Who?

The old man that fugged Griffith

>4 more days until Forces 2016

Oh my fucking God, I can't wait.

Fuck off, now I just want to see Casca and Gumby go on terribly animated adventures.

From the chest up? Sure.

but look at his emotions during the sword slash he seems to have regained his heart

Are you one of those people that think Griffith "lost his emotions" or something in the Eclipse? It's pretty clear griffith pre and post-eclipse is fundamentally entirely identical mentally; it's only his physical state that is transformed.

Well, Femto is a lot better at doing sick burns towards Guts.

Magnifico

He's part of the group of knights that are sworn to protect Farnese. A "good" end for him would be to sacrifice his life to protect the party, as that's what he's dedicated his life to.

She became a slave to his dick. He really wasn't into her, too.

You have sickeningly low bar standards.

Okay so. We know that the "festival" or "eclipse" is a ceremony dedicated to making a new Godhand. So what if Zodd had a crimson behelt, used that shit and skeleton king was one of those that were to be sacrificed but escaped much like how Guts did except it was Guts who saved skeleton king its causality I ain't explaining shit. Since Zodds ritual didn't eat all the sacrifices he didn't become a Godhand just a really powerful apostle and he is continuously fighting skeleton king to attain godhood. Skeleton king knowing this continues to fuel his life span/sword by eating eggs.

It would mirror Guts and Griffith/Femto perfectly and everything would keep repeating like causality/heart of darkness wants it to be. It would also make way for a reset ending which I think would be a sick revelation to everyone involved and tie up the entire story in ~5 years.

>Since Zodds ritual didn't eat all the sacrifices he didn't become a Godhand just a really powerful apostle and he is continuously fighting skeleton king to attain godhood.

Not only is this bad writing, but why did Griffith become a Godhand when his sacrifices escaped? Explaining that away as "W-well a high enough percentage were killed" is dumb and makes even less sense.

I hope Silat joins. There seems to be a tremendous amount of characters who are useless, and even more who are uninteresting like Azan

>Not only is this bad writing, but why did Griffith become a Godhand when his sacrifices escaped? Explaining that away as "W-well a high enough percentage were killed" is dumb and makes even less sense.

It would imply that Femto is incomplete and Egg of the perfect world would be needed. berserk.wikia.com/wiki/Egg_of_the_Perfect_World

Probably joined Rickerts faction instead of Guts'. I can see Rickert playing an important role later down the line with Silat working with him, not as a follower or servant. Possibly as a rebel militia against Falconia.

Still sounds too convoluted for Berserk but sure why not. I'll buy it.

The Behelit is his.

Yeah its crazy convoluted but so are the first couple chapters of berserk. I think it would be a great way to finish the series with a nice bow, rather than draw it out for 50+ years and explaining the Zodd/Skeleton king relationship away as "they like fightan". Also fits the whole "it is casual" thing skeleton king has going this time arc.

However. All this becomes basically bunk as Ganishka became a world tree and reset reality on itself. I still don't know whats going on, I don't think Miura does either.

>Yeah its crazy convoluted but so are the first couple chapters of berserk.
Not really.

Fuck off. Those chapters were gay as hell.
>lol I am going to rip open a portal in time where my rule is law

I'm not entirely sure this is right, given that Griffith had a behelit which apostles recognized as special.
I'm not sure how Femto is incomplete either considering he seems just as powerful as the other Godhand and has the same limitations (i.e. Not having a corporeal body in the human dimension.)
But yeah I don't know why Zodd fights SK so much

>things that never happened

>CG shit
>good
>ever
>in any circumstance
2D is always better, and you faggots know it.

here is one i made for the 2016 one.

Neat. Almost makes it look good.

Half of these are from the opening, right?

no just the first row.

Do you have one for the movies?

only for part 3. here you go.

Search your feelings. You know it to be true!

How bad are the movies?

They are like 4-6 /10, depends how much the cgi bothers you. They get better as they go, but the 1997 is a better telling of the story in animated form.

The only "emotions" he has are unwanted physical impulses to protect Casca on behalf of him possessing the child's body as a vessel. Hasn't been brought up since volume 22, but it probably still stands even with the new addition of Moon Babby.

nope, i've dealt with bodies, intestines are the only organs that freak me out

to be honest i didn't mind the movies. first and second suffer from the cg but the third is actually pretty great and has nice stuff added like skull knight fighting zod during the eclipse, other stuff that leads into lost children yet was missing from the original series.

only problem with the third film is that it makes casca look like she's enjoying getting raped by griffith, it's almost full on porn

what the fuck is wrong with you?

she gets a completely proper for in the next panels. although i imagine the color wouldn't be the best
i'd definitely run her through with my big, thick, heavy and rough hunk of raw flesh

he got old faster than guts

nah, the egg was needed for him to become the absolute. void and the gang are godhand but don't have physical forms the way griffith does. they can only manifest themselves in a certain sephirot associated with them and with their power massively scaled down

1-7 and 9 are all from the opening. that 25%. not half, but a lot

Seasickness will do that to a man

You think she still gets off to sadistic acts? I haven't seen her go "this is my fetish" ever since she joined up with Guts, and I'm sure she's seen plenty of carnage since then.

>yfw the mysterious Black Mustached Knight isn't actually Azan but someone entirely else

Griffith has physical form thanks to the imitation eclipse at Albion, the Egg apostle.
The Behelit is special because it's crimson, and it means they're destined to become a Godhand member

KINO
I
N
O

That would've been a funny twist. Like if Puck really was the king of Elfhelm.
I believed it for a moment and sat the staring blankly at the screen.

...

yes? did you not see who i responded to? or did you mean to reply to him?

Who else would like to see Skull Knight back in the day?
I want to see how similar his personality was to Guts' before he became what he is today.

Back in the day? As that emperor? Wasn't he depicted as some crazy ruthless conqueror? It's been a while since I read that particular chapter though so I might be off.

Flashback chapter of the adventures of Berserker Armor wearing Skull Knight and young/loli Sorceress when
