What Sup Forums thinks of Roosevelt?

What has he done? How did he manage to have four terms?
Was his Keynesian policy a success?
Is it true he was in the top 5 best President?

Scum of the earth
Obama and Clinton-tier traitor to the country

Really ? What has he done exactly?
When I was a high school, all our socialist teachers loved telling us how he saved the US economy through his New Deal policy.

Bump

>led America out the Great Depression.
>defeated the Nazis.
>implemented Social Security
>did all this despite being bound to a wheel chair

Easily a top 5 President.

>What has he done exactly?
he enacted the mark of the beast

>Easily a top 5 President.
no way

A shill, like all US presidents after Andrew Jackson.

...

Illegal Wheelchair degenerate and cousin/communist of a wife

pretty much

Why?

prolonged the great depression

rest of the world was out of it long before the US

...

One of the greatest traitors of the 20th century.

FDR was a power mad sociopath, despised anything that didn't go along with him including the Constitution, violated the law at a whim, waged as much war as possible, opened concentration camps for US citizens, allied with psychopathic murderer nations, burned alive hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians and held onto power 'til death. He was a plague.

he was shit

The fact Euros love him is all the proof you need he was shit

shilled for the Jew and deliberately conspired to make pearl harbour as deadly as possible

The true Roosevelt

Seriously? Did he burned citizens?
I thought he was just doing some money printing and build some roads

My biggest gripe is the interpretation of the commerce clause that came during his administration, which has completely destroyed our democracy. The clause in the Constitution giving the government the power to regulate interstate trade is literally used to uphold federal laws prohibiting someone from growing marijuana on their own land for their private use.

Also how did he manage to be elected 4 terms? (Especially for the fourth term where he can't even walk?)

>led America out the Great Depression
Arguably could have been done faster, and WWII helped significantly
>defeated the Nazis
No, that would be the military.
>implemented Social Security
Meh. It has a lot of problems.
>did all this despite being bound to a wheel chair
I like my presidents not crippled.

The New Deal was good in some sense because it provided relief during the great depression. The problem with it was that it should have been temporary. When you promise benefits to the populace, it's nearly impossible to take it back. It helped in the short run,but screwed the US over in the long run because it increased people's reliance on the government instead of taking responsibility for themselves.

>How did he manage to have four terms?
Populism.

>Was his Keynesian policy a success?
It was a disaster that fucked up our economy for generations.

>Is it true he was in the top 5 best President?
Nope, he was one of the worst actually, on the level of Woodrow Wilson.

Looks like Kieth Olberman's grandad.

he was a globalist cuck and so many others fought for liberty, he was more of a sell your rights in exchange for security type

It kinda looks like LBJ's brother

they were fucking cousins, Bushes are cousins to them allso

that creepy fucker in your pic, child of a literal snake oil salesman

1. Internally he turned America away from golden standard and introduced many harmful policies with his New Deal, in a way kickstarting the accumulation of American national debt. Externally he pursued policy of being a hard-liner towards Germany, while being soft on Soviet Union, which eventually lead into creation of Iron Curtain, rise of Soviet power and Cold War.
2. I suppose after Great Depression people were distrustful towards more economically liberal policies of Republicans. War also caused his support to rise.
3. No. The economic crisis continued well into the entry to WW2 and hasn't ended due to his New Deal policy, but rather war boosting production. While normies believe that Roosevelt had much better economic policy than Hoover, they were about on par.
4. Hell no. They were worse though (Woodrow Wilson comes to mind). He appears somewhat mediocre to me.

>implementing Social Security is a good thing
Yeah, because pyramid schemes are the best thing ever.

Hoover and FDR fucked up the legacy and economic growth Coolidge created

New Deal ruined the country.

Commietard under cover. His policy of Stalin's bootlicking has led to creation of soviet bloc and cold war.
