And i am looking for the best filter to take away all the particles hormones and chemicals out of the water (they turn the friggin frogs gay),
Which water filter should I get that gets rid of all the chemicals and hormones out of the water? Help me out Sup Forums

zero water then boil what was filtered.

BWT filters fron austria are quite good and not too expensive, in Germany that is.

Distilling isn't a good option unless you go all out. Reverse osmosis is probably what you're looking for. Now if you REALLY want to go full autist, you find a natural spring and get your drinking water from there, be sure to test it every month and keep an eye open for any activity that could pollute it(agriculture, fracking, sewage) etc.

What is a good shower water filter?

The water at my house is pretty hard and I also do not want to wash my hair on fluoride.

Honestly the fact you dont go straight to Alex jones makes me question you

...

If you want one that filters hormones it's reverse osmosis or nothing, those shitty clip on faucet filters only take out shit like copper and zinc, they'll make your water taste better but that's about it. You can get whole home filters from Home Depot but you will have to install them or have someone do so and it will cost several hundred dollars at least. Sadly although Alex Jones is right about a lot of the shit in the water you cannot fix the problem on the cheap as he advertises.

boil ur water and start showering with bucket water

jeethus cwithe ... thats how my grandma got kidney rocks ... fucking waters too hard (high in minerals)

This never made sense to me, if you aren't collection the vapor then there is no point to boil besides to kill bacteria

You should not fear natural salts and minerals in water that creates corrosion. The only thing you should fear is chemicals are put in water recyling centers.

How do I know if my water is soft or hard?

Cheap solution is to buy glass jars for drinking water and use the RO machines at supermarkets.

it goes through miles of pipes? it is essentially undrinkable.
Don't let anyone tell you your water is clean.
t.engineer

Also you can invest in copper piping.

Everpure home filter, you thirsty nigger

i want one that I don't have to install, i mean like one i can pour water into and it filters it that way.

I actually did cross examine Alex Jones water filters with competitors and they were top notch. i also personally use them and i must say my water is fucking amazing.

most water is hard

You should maybe move to Europe, where some countries still have a working public infrastructure.

Water softener or Nuvo H20 filter system

I personally have an in line water filter for my fridge which shoots out water fast but Alex Jones best filter is his gravity fed carbon one. Gravity fed is good for disasters.

how did you cross examine?
I'm trying to research it and there are no real charts that show the difference in ppm, and what it can and cannot filter.

Heh, suckers.
I've got pristine well water that I run through integrated filter system anyways, even my shower water is filtered.

explain please? I thought distillation yielded pure H2O

...

depends what brand are you looking at?

propurusa.com/assets/images/Lab Report 15-134.pdf
here is Alex Jones Propur brand

things have a lower boiling point than water

Limescale residue after boiling indicates hard water

You live in Sweden. Your water is 'soft' unless you live on a small island off the coast and a few other places.

lmao

>heavy water
>fluoride
kys

Heavy water is D2O. Hard water is water with lots of minerals (Fe, Mg, Ca, Zn, etc)
Your hair won't care if you have soap. I promise you that.

reverse osmosis water filtration is the only way to go if you really, really want all impurities out

it can get expensive

Testing water that frequently for everything would cost shit tons.

make sure to get a filter that allows fluoride

fluoride keeps your teeth white and strong!

if water is too pure you can eventually be missing minerals. Ancient humans got a ton from water.

Pour in filters that you're referring to, such as lifestraw can be found at outdoor stores (REI, Academy, DICKS, Gander Mountain...) However, they don't remove much. RO/DI will remove damn near everything. I bought mine for my saltwater aquarium initially, then started researching the crap that actually is in our water. I'll never go back.

this right here is why i only trust alex jones brand
im afraid normie filters have a clause somewhere deep where they casually mention some stuff is allowed through

if only we had a water filter supreme commander around here.

the alex jones filters take out hormones

>water comes from the sierra
>through hundreds of mile of aqueducts
who 510 here. I got an amway undersink filter.

sounds like we're fucked, see you all at the trans bar in a few years
a lot of those minerals are in food anyways

i bet the jews take it out of our food too

>The national budget of the US is there precisely for situations like this where its allegedly first world citizens cannot drink safely
It's not even socialism, seriously what is the point of a country having money if it doesn't spend it on fixing itself?

taxation without representation
when have i heard this before

>Now if you REALLY want to go full autist, you find a natural spring and get your drinking water from there, be sure to test it

The testing part is a bit autistic. I've been getting my drinking water from a spring for 20 years now.

not really you should still filter natural spring water

I know my local water supply is fucked, and I know it's harming us, and I know I need some heavy duty shit to counter it, but I absolutely do not trust Alex Jones and his products to be on the level. I trust his products about as much as I trust Monsanto's.

Instead of osmosis can you just make one of these and run your daily water needs through it, doesn't seem like much trouble to put 10 litre in before bed and it's how nature cures it. Will it get rid of feminine germs?

Reverse osmosis is perfect for what you need, it just uses FUCK load of water.

Also if you live in rural America you could just use well water. That shit is perfect, doesn't even have fluoride

Alex Jones products are next level. Do your research.
If there was a flaw with his shit it would be national news.

Wait, so the issue is that people in other states are going to have their taxes used to pay for something in another state?
Do you understand how objectively shit that is?

it varies by municipality. and its mostly tinfoil.

that being stated, for taste alone I would totally own one if I lived anywhere east of the missisippi.

Sure, the Fed intervenes on a state level all of the time. The problem is when it doesn't intervene at all in a positive way.

If it's a clean spring, it's already filtered by the earth. Don't be a vagina.

cant you get sick from natural bacteria?

you have to buy full fucking house filters. maybe stick the pipes you exclusively drink, shower from on it.

Get a Berkley water filter. They're regularly third party verified for their purifier claims and the filters last a family about 8 years. Pic for visibility

As faggots like Antifa and self-proclaimed "marxists" increase in ranks across campuses and cities here in the United States and across Europe, I propose it's high time that we start an alternative communist movement to split the left.

Neo-communist fags wholly believe in degenerate culture, some of which original Communists violently detested (and with good reason). What better way to drive a wedge in the left than to meme a new alt-left communist group that focuses on traditional communism into existence? Large groups of self-proclaimed communists who hate fags and non-whites who can subtly redpill lib-tards on race and gays.

now imagine millions and millions of these tiny no brainer issues, and now you know how the government works

I'm serious
you know why brits have crooked teeth? cuz they don't put flouride in their water

Americans have the cleanest whitest teeth primarily because fluoride
and yes they make filters that allow fluoride because fluoride is good for you

Distilled is the cheapest best way for the average person reverse osmosis wastes like 2 liters for every good liter it's a meme too expensive.

Just buy a counter top distiller.

I never have from these springs. Neither have my wife and kids, or the hundreds of other people that get water there every week.

wanna know too if this would work

DISTILLED WATER IS POISONOUS

Just making sure people see that

>filtered by the earth have you ever heard of bacteria retard?
you can't just drink straight from a river without boiling it because of bacteria not metals

666 symbol
mhm i aintlistening to you jew
its called berkey filters

then it cant be good.
Even the jonesfilters of old (berkey) suck. I should know, i got one. I used to have a reverse osmosis filter and it was miles better.
some RO filters are not undersink but they take ages to fill up a bottle.
That may be your thing, it's just more work though. It's cheaper OTOH. At purchase, not at usage. (filters last less long because they dont have the necessary pre filtering elements).

I've been thinking: if plastic is the enemy and releasing all sorts of bullshit into our bodies, wouldn't that make basically every filtration system on the market tainted? If it doesn't use plastic for the body of the unit, then maybe it uses it for the pipes, or some fittings, or maybe even washers, or the filters themselves are plastic-encased. Is there a way to go 100% fully non-plastic from the filter to the sink to your bottle? Because it seems to almost defeat the purpose of eliminating hormones if you come into contact with the primary hormone creator of our time.

I guess, it is true that there's probably a thousand journalists waiting to make a smear piece on him for any flub. But first and foremost the guy is an entertainer, and I cannot shake the feeling that I absolutely positively should not fucking trust him when it comes to something as important as my water supply.

he said hard not heavy
that's calcium in the water.

I'm gonna go have a glass of my unfiltered spring water and think about what you just said.

>drinking dihydrogen monoxide

qt.

where do i buy this shirt

I got a family to feed...

Just buy the fucking filters...

berkey filters (best jonesfilters, nowadays he downgraded) water still tastes like shit though, even after adding apple cider vinegar and ionizing it.
I drank it for about 9 months, now i'm back to bottled water (luckily we have awesome quality ones here) while waiting to buy a reverse osmosis system
costs me about 50€ a month though, at 50 cents a bottle of 1.5 liter

Explain further for someone who never researched it. It’s not like I’m worried about ethers in my water and vast majority of solutes I’m aware of will not evaporate. Are there that many volatile organic contaminants in my water?

Trust me, you can taste it. If you ever come by regions that have hard water you will know.

Eventually whatever you are filtering out would need to be removed from the filter or else water wouldn't run through it anymore.

this is intentional

40 bucks on amazon. You're welcome.

You already know the answer.

>Reverse osmosis
RO is probably the best at filtering out everything, but if you live in a drought area they waste a lot of water. It can be over two gallons of waste/flush water for every gallon of drinkable.

Complexometric titration is one of the best ways of measuring total water hardness. At pH around 10 EDTA easily reacts with both calcium and magnesium in the same molar ratio (1:1). Stability constant of calcium complex is a little bit higher, so calcium reacts first, magnesium later. Thus, for the end point, we should use the same indicator we use when titrating magnesium - that is Eriochrome Black T. In the case of water that doesn't contain magnesium at all, to be able to detect end point we should add small amount of magnesium complex MgEDTA2+. Magnesium will be displaced by identical amount of calcium, and it will be titrated later, not changing final result. However, this is a very rare situation.

If solutions contains carbonates, they should be removed as they can interfere with end point detection. To do so we can acidify the solution with hydrochloric acid, boil it, and then neutralize with ammonia. Small excess of ammonia doesn't hurt, as we finally add ammonia buffer and change of pH by several tenths is not a problem.

>DISTILLED WATER IS POISONOUS
that's a lie spread by (((them))) there is no evidence

I just drink tap water.

enjoy your cholera!

i am in love

fluoride is already in toothpaste. if it works by coming in contact with teeth, what's the point in drinking it. plenty of medicines are good for us but no one is clamoring to load it into the water supply.

It's not poisonous, it just has zero minerals in it.

Pls respond

Is the form of fluoride that's put into water the best form for your teeth?

inb4 fluoride is fluoride. no, they don't put ions in the water.

Yea, it works.
To be sure you should also cook it for 10 minutes afterwards.

t.chemist

Thanks, was just going to ask about this.

I would want Zero Water or at least the meter to test water.

can confirm is lie

So I could pour water-alcohol-AIDS medicine combo in the top, and only water would come out the bottom?

that's a non issue you get most of your minerals from food and just in case pop a cheap multi vitamin daily and have more salt than you usually do

Reverse osmosis + Deionizer = totally pure water. However you would need to find a mix of minerals to reconstitute it. Drinking this will lead to bone issues and god knows what else that is terrible. RO/DI filters are great. You can get them for fish tanks cheaper than human by volume, and the cartridges are the same.
