NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A 30-year-old woman is allegedly assaulted by a member of the White Lives Matter group that came to the middle Tennessee on Saturday for two rallies.
The incident occurred at the Corner Pub in Brentwood just before 8 p.m. on Saturday. The victim tells FOX 17 News that a group of 20-30 people became involved in an altercation with the bi-racial couple and then she was hit in the face.
An argument escalated after someone in the group identified themselves as White Lives Matter, then another person allegedly told the woman to leave her boyfriend (who is black), and join them, according to the report taken by Metro Nashville police. The woman went outside and was followed. While arguing with another woman, a man punched her in the face.
