Okay that Maroon 5 video being released less than a week before the massacre is spoopy as fuck.
I thought I knew everything about this case but it keeps getting weirder.
I still think the Powerpuff Girls is somehow connected. It was one of Paddock's email addresses, and in one of the first photos of Paddock, with his brother Eric. He was probably obsessed with the show because he could not related to real people especially real women. And then PPG had the very unpopular reboot about 18 months ago which lines up with his decline. And about two weeks before the shooting, the new PPG show introduced a fourth powerpuff girl who is black. I am not saying PPG was the only reason, but maybe it was part of some MK Ultra or symbolism.

Mojo JoJo is definitely one of the most popular Villains. I'm not a big fan of the show but I did like Dexter's lab so I've seen maybe a third of quarter of the PPG episodes.

I'm a closet brony, but casual about it. The damn cartoon is so cheerful, I watch it once in a blue moon instead of taking SSRIs. It pretty much does always cheer me up and it's very heartwarming. Watch MLP long enough and you might tear up at the emotional parts of the show. So autistic people love it because they aren't good with emotions and desire to see exaggerated emotions on not-real human-like characters.
PPG has a bit of the cheerfulness going on, but it's very shallow and empty. But it's seeming like Paddock was more of a sociopath than just an autistic, so... PPG for psychos. Thinking about it, the few people I know who love PPG are indeed messed up in the head, but it's way less obvious and deeply internal. Police are saying they weren't in the hall when he stopped shooting. They haven't released info on time of death. Imagine a reporter at the news conferences asking about time of death. They'd have to lie if he was dead before.
Also the revolver is a lot less loud than the rifle, and it wasn't shooting down the hall, so it's very likely the security guard and engineer wouldn't have even heard it.
We really don't know much other than it took the police about 72 minutes to enter his room. They didn't send a bomb squad to his room, only to his car, so I don't think it was a concern about explosives in his hotel room. Why so long to breach?
They're saying they assumed it was a barricade situation and that he was still alive when they breached. Or rather they implied that early on to explain the slow response time.
Everyone assumed it was the SWAT team that took so long to breach, but they ended up showing the 4 police that breached and I think maybe one was SWAT but without gear.
They basically admit that they have no idea why he stopped shooting. They do think Campos startled him and moved up the timetable, but by how much? The concert was almost over. He had barricaded the stairwell with metal which is what got Campos noticed by Paddock. Campos let the door slam behind him (stairwell entry has two doors ,like an air gap between them, not sure why) and ya basically lots of things don't make sense, both official narrative as well as all the "coincidences"

Okay now I remember, they said the 4 cops secured the floor and waiting for SWAT, who took longer because police cars had taken fire already and also because it became a "barricade" situation where they take their time. I don't know if they even tried to open lines or communication or if they assumed he was dead.
Don't SWAT teams have those things that can see thru walls and pick up heat? I wonder if they used that and figured out he was dead.
It's very possible they didn't say anything sensitive over the radio. I am sure they are trained to do that in terrorism situations.

I’m thinking Paddock was shot way before. Maybe with a silencer. If we could find out what day/time his room was accessed after his car left the parking deck, it might explain a lot. If it happened a few hours before the shooting, then it’s possible he was shot by the intruder after walking back into the room. Or maybe he was killed by the “prostitute”? Maybe she was just LARPing as a hooker?
Campos said a woman came out into the hall and he told her to get down because there was shooting. Hodges said when he arrived in the floor a woman came down the hall and told him run. Who was this woman? Did Campos and Hodges both interact with the same woman? Has anyone interviewed her or taken a witness statement? What was her name? What room was she staying in? Was she alone? Or was this Paddock’s prostitute?
Maybe the woman on the 32nd floor, the woman who told people they were going to die, and Paddock’s prostitute are all the same woman. And they won’t show a photo of this prostitute or give her name so how do we know it wasn’t Mary Lou? They didn’t even tell us about the prostitute until someone leaked the “party of 2” receipt photo. Maybe they made up the prostitution thing to cover their asses.
I think Paddock’s room being right next to the stairwell was significant. It would have been easy to kill Paddock, stage the room and take the stairs to the roof. The blocked doors stalled police and also made them think the shooter was on the 32nd floor, when the real reason for blocking the door was probably to keep police from going any higher. The room camera was wirelessly feeding somewhere else. They said “offshore” but it could have been feeding to another room in the hotel. Maybe camera was used to keep the shooters in the loop with what was happening on the 32nd floor, so they knew how much time they had to escape, maybe via the helicopter seen on radar hovering over Mandalay Bay at 10:30pm.

yes and i believe the suite was comped. i am not even kidding this actually came out, the suite was comped the whole week he had been there. the adjacent room, which he paid for maybe in the girlfriends name, was so he could shoot at the fuel tanks. like two weeks after the shooting they said he tried to buy tracers and did indeed fire some kind of incendiary rounds at the fuel tanks. they're doing forensics on those tanks which supposedly will take a while, but latest i heard was that they were hit twice probably by the .308 he had in the room. no work about any .50 cal or anti-material rifles but to shoot those tanks effectively, he would have needed to use what he had in his car rigged up next to the tank and then maybe there is a good chance.
like those tanks might even be resistant to an RPG... they're like 18 inch steel with concrete in the middle.

oh shit, Joseph Kahn is actually pretty open and cool about his work. He is also close to Taylor Swift.
