I would recommend to use the local (german) language, as the primary goal is the everyday German, who discovers that the fascist language enraging leftists is just a normal feeling / wording. Hence it should be in Germany. Further, in Germany, the identity politics is not yet developed as in the US.
However I understand the other user, who defended the original wording du to its simplicity.
