Election day thread

Hey Sup Forums who are you voting for tomorrow in your local election? Also don't forget to vote!

I'm in PA and I'm just going straight republican at this point. Unfortunately I haven't researched the candidates...

Gonna be a good year.
Can't wait for 2018.

all rural areas are usually redish with the exceptions being when there are real shitbags and the dem seems to be a better choice based off his platform

Bump, I'm just going to do a straight republican like in the state elections. Anyone care to advise me otherwise?

...

...

tfw no qt socialist city council waifu

Where is PA are you voting? PA is usually all red except in Pittsburgh, Philly, Harrisburg, Scranton and Erie.

Strangely, last year's election Erie county went red. The rural area south of I-90 must have out voted the urban along the lake shore. This year we'll see if it was a fluke or see if the Republicans can take both the county and city.

Bucks county. I'm trying to research it now, but I haven't found any really good resources yet. Even fucking local media thinks Trump feeding fish is more important. Fucking kikes

Murphy(NJ), for legal weed

Fortunately here in south NJ it's not as cucked as the north

I don't spend much time in NJ even though it's so close, but isn't it like all 100% blue?

The state as a whole, yes.

But if you visit the south compared to the north it's like night and day. It's all red because of all the agriculture we have down here. I think that's just because we have a lower concentration of people due to that fact

do you know tiff bannister?

not for the state governor elections, it could go either way
However, Republicans are at a big disadvantage November 7th because Christie is highly unpopular

can you explain to me how pachinko machines are not gambling

I’m in Pittsburgh and our fag mayor is running unopposed so I will be writing in someone. Dubbs decides.

Yinzer as well. Let's write in the ghost of Sophie Mazlow

Check ballot pedia and then do independent research on the candidates and issues. Look how they voted on issues that matter most to you

Virginia, Northam because im trans and i obviously prefer democrats.

its actually gambling. theyre slot machines. but some obstinate people thinks its just an arcade

Not a bad pick

You know this city hasn’t had a republican city council member in over 80 years?

Yeah that's exactly what I've resorted to doing

im in pa but have no clue whose running for what. no wall, no health care, more war spending means i'm voting dem though. grumfty could've gotten a lot done if he stayed off the golf course like he said he was going to.

ATTENTION PA RESIDENTS, I'VE MADE A VOTING GUIDE FOR YOU! SPREAD THIS TO OTHER PLACES LIKE FAGGIT AND FACEBERG!

Guide to voting in tomorrow's PA election:
1. Vote straight republican
2. Vote to remove all female and non-white judges (if your female judges are Christian and conservative, keep them I guess)
3. Vote to retain all white male judges
4. Vote YES for exclusion of property tax
5. Vote NO for giving more welfare to Philly (if applicable)

Why yes for the property tax exemptions?

>t. cuck

Here's the text. Decide for yourself:

PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL
AMENDMENT
AMENDING THE HOMESTEAD
PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT
EXCLUSION
Shall the Pennsylvania Constitution
be amended to permit the General
Assembly to enact legislation
authorizing local taxing authorities
to exclude from taxation up to 100
percent of the assessed value of each
homestead property within a local
taxing jurisdiction, rather than limit
the exclusion to one-half of the
median assessed value of all
homestead property, which is the
existing law?

I’ve read it, just not sure the exemption will get used in a good way. I’m split on it, was curious to hear your reasons why.

Yeah, it's in politician speak so it's a little hard to decipher. But it seems that it may lower your tax payments by not including your home in your assets.

>Vote to remove all female and non-white judges (if your female judges are Christian and conservative, keep them I guess)
This is always a tough one for me - in the rare cases where the republican is some dude whose name you need a calculator to pronounce, and the dem is a white guy, I'm always disappointed

At who’s discretion though? I need to read who’s in support of it and the kind of things they typically support.

It’s honestly half the reason I plan to vote tomorrow so I want to get it right.

I'm from New Jersey so I'm voting for Kim Guadagno for governor, she's the republican candidate. I'm not all hyped up for her though, she's not my first choice, she hasn't spoken much about gun rights, but she's better than Phil Murphy. However, Phil Murphy is going to win tomorrow without a doubt, unless kim wins Bergen county. She has the weight of Christie attached to her, that's her problem.

This state is lost
