That said, I can vouch for my state of SD in the Top 5. I always see maps of "GDP" and "dollars of federal funding" and shit. Sure we get a lot of "federal funding" but that's to subsidize the farming so we can grow a fuck load of crops which then gets exported around the country, it isn't just us sucking the teet of the feds and handing it around to niggers. Plus we have reservations which isn't even us, the feds directly fund them. All of that said, sure we don't produce a lot of money out right, but that's because we don't have a high population whatsoever. Per capita, excluding reservations, we do quite well. AND we always run in the black with our budget. We balance our budget. When times are rough we crack down and spend as little as we can. When times are good, we use that time to expand and repair. We actually balance our checkbooks, unlike those """successful""" states that just blow all their money and go deeper and deeper into debt and pass the debt to their next governor and legislators and shit. We don't grow bubbles.
