Why is every product that was designed and built in a communist country absolute shit compared to those designed and built in capitalist countries?

How can lefty commifags even defend this?

Communism is predicated on theft of property over quality of life

No incentive to make a better car, you get the same pay anyways so why bother?

I've always wanted to get an old Lada, paint it Commie Red and put a big ol' Hammer and Sickle on it and call it the General Leon Leonovich and have the horn play the Commie anthem.

Actually this is/was a great car.

Maybe, if built in 1st or 2nd week of the month, any later and they throw
em together to meet gov quota.

It was a very reliable car good for transporting potatoes and turnip, not luxury but did the job well.

LADA is FIAT, you retard.

As for products, Soviets did not succumb to consumerism depravity unlike the west. It mostly focused on military industrial complex and stuff it made was made for ages. There were litterally consumer products being produced as byproduct on tank plants.

There is a joke, regarding it

The Arabs bought the latest helicopters from the USSR. They arrived in containers. They are in the hangars, they collect the first. It turns out a tank. They dismantle, re-read the instruction, collect - again the tank. They are on treason, they repeat everything by the points - the tank, and that's it. Cause our engineer, so and so, the tank comes out.
He says, lock me up for three days, I'll see what's wrong. Of course, in three days the newest helicopter is ready, as requested.
They eyes on the forehead: - How could it?
And he tells them, and you, they say, did not read the instructions to the end.
Here the Russian language is written:
"FINISH THE ASSEMBLY CAREFULLY BY FILING."

>Lada is Fiat

The soviets weren't even original! You learn something new every day.

>every
Some were quite alright. But yes, in general the products sucked. Lack of private enterprise and competition is the reason. When everything is bureaucratic, it's really hard to move forward, unless there is an incentive from above (government forcing people to work and develop new stuff). Hence the Soviet Union succeeded in military and space technologies, which were deemed important, but sucked in other sectors which were given lower priority.
The car on the pic is a prime example. High government officials wanted to drive good cars, so they ensured that the process of its development and production goes smoothly and quickly.

>They eyes on the forehead: - How could it?

Lada is not bad, actually. My grandfather had one, and he used it for decades.

You probably don't know but Lada factory was builded from Italians and that modes is a Fiat model

Pride? I could get away with making shoddy shit in my job but I make sure I do a good job anyway. Don't get paid anymore, but satisfaction of doing a job well. If I was making cars I would want to make good ones.

Do you even proofread what you google translate?

The Arabs bought the latest helicopters from the USSR. They arrived in containers. They are in the hangars, they assemble the first one. It turns out to be a tank. They dismantle, re-read the instruction, assemble - again a tank. They are going insane, they repeat everything step by step - it's still a tank, not a helicopter. They call a Soviet engineer, tell him what they did and how they failed to construct a helicopter.
He says, lock me up for three days, I'll see what's wrong. In three days they unlock him and the helicopter is ready, as requested.
The Arabs were amazed: - How did you do it?
And he tells them: "you did not read the instructions to the end."
Here the Russian language is written:
"FINISH THE ASSEMBLY CAREFULLY BY FILING THE PRODUCT."

Well, congratulations on being one of the few people who'd work for free. As for me, I'd just take my reward and chill out all day with the vast majority of other people.

FIAT.
Fix It Again, Tony.

That"s a rip off of a Checker.

I don't work for free, nor would I. But I get paid no different if I make crap all day or take effort to make well. Still I prefer to do good job over bad.

Zhiguli was a good Fiat copy. Simplified and reinforced to the point where it became near-impossible to break something on it by accident.

*Packard

My grandparents 40 year old commie washing machines still works, we had to change the superior western ones 3 times.

Only with a complete drivetrain swap from something else.

>They eyes on the forehead: - How could it?

And you are a minority of minorities. As shown by every communist country that has ever existed and ever will exist.

>There is a joke, regarding it

This is a lie. The only complaint about them were the somewhat underwhelming engines when heavily loaded.

One person sitting inside = heavily loaded

>One american person sitting inside = heavily loaded

Those cars were not made with americans in mind

looks hella flush

youtube.com/watch?v=AYzrWpejsyA

Still better than any car made in africa

>everything
>car isn't aesthetically feminising

Go look at the Moscow Metro.
Cameras were better.
Rockets were better.
Satellites were better.

Products were often more durable, although they sometimes didn't have the cult of marketing behind them. But look where that has taken us...

>OP
>posts an italian car
Italy isn't communist, user

>Why is every product that was designed and built in a communist country absolute shit
Because
> Be worker under communist regime
> Get paid same amount of money regardless of your achievements
> Wage you get is completely worthless, as everything you want can be bought only on black market
> Everyone around you slacks off and steals everything because "its nobody's, so may as well be mine"
> You regularly see things you made rotting off in warehouses unused and unneeded
> If you try to innovate, you will soon face discrimination and possibly criminal investigation

Point of captialism is to sell you staff that will break after specific amount of time so you go buy new shit, communism shit lasts decades and just works.

I thought we had laws for dealing with communists in this country.

Typical commie education.

>It mostly focused on military industrial complex and stuff it made was made for ages
Kalashnikov rifles, the bane of many a British soldier and RUC man in occupied Ireland..
Mig air planes to boot

survivorship bias

nice maybe after you turn 16 dad will help you chip in on one huh?

The small arms are great. Ak's, PKM, makarov's

WTF it looks so cool in 2017

>How can lefty commifags even defend this?

Didn't you know? Real communism hasn't been tried.

pride is theft comrade

Why is every product that was designed and built in a cuckpitalist country absolute shit.

OP specifically said in comparison to the West. And compared to what the West had they are objectively shittier. Having 4 wheels and a (kind of) working engine doesn't make it a "great" car.

>Pride? I could get away with making shoddy shit in my job
We already made Jaguars m8

For me, it's Lada 2108.

...

this was surprisingly exciting to watch

vimeo.com/105422200
clip related was on jewtube for years with proper quality, the beeb has had it scrubbed (they even had a segment on their own channel)

Pontiacs are fucking disgusting.

I wish the US had some more eurotrash cars. My dad was an avid cult "classic" (I use this term loosely) collector. He had a typical Dadrod but he had an 80s VW Rabbit that was just awesome to drive. It was a complete piece of shit but fun.

Soviet tools and consumer products are pretty based. They're simple and built to last.
Cars and shit that was copied and quickly reverse engineered from the West...not so much.

In theory, a communist society would build better products to a higher standard - no cheaping out on materials and no planned obsolescence.
In practise, capitalism provides a wider range of goods - from cheap Chinese shit to custom-made high-end products. The nasty part is the tremendous waste of materials and energy associated with this - things are literally built to break. There's a seemingly huge surplus of goods but with a hidden cost to environment and non-renewable resources. Not like anyone gives a shit though, everything that's not cowboy capitalism is super bad, raah USA USA

>Pontiacs are fucking disgusting.
Shut your whore mouth.

That only applies to any pontiac made after 1980..

Undeveloped automotive industry, but it wasn't so bad.
Soviets and other commies had unhealthy (ideological) obsession with heavy industry and military industry because Westerners will attack them any second, and you need heavy industry to ''build socialism''.
This led to neglect of other areas, most importantly light industry and agriculture.
Also, command economy is pure hell to run. They actually functioned okay-ish given the predicaments.

>shitty russian smg copied from superior finnish tech

Ladas are great, especially the Niva.

thier guns are really good desu

Quality of soviet products is a myth.
Anything more complex than hammer needed to be fine-tuned after purchase. TVs literally needed to be dissembled and electronics re-soldered because drunkard workers could mistake capacitor for resistor or just forget to solder some stuff or switch polarity, and there was no working quality control because there were no repercussions for selling defective products.

The smokey and the bandit car remakes always catch my eye, but yeah post 1980 for pontiac has in my opinion not been very aesthetic but I'm a JDM fag so my opinion will mean very little

Not speaking for Soviet industry specifically, but electric appliances in Yugoslavia were quite good.
Before people gang up on me, I'm not saying command economy is great, but ''no one worked anything or gave a fuck about his/her job'' is a dumb meme.
Of course, Yugoslavia had a more liberal economy.

trumpwrong.gif

(You)

It's cute and not burgerish obnoxious

What is the ak 47?

Trabant was utter shit though.

I guess it varies, I've also heard about TVs and complex electronics being shit, but some stuff was really good, some electric drills and welding machines for example.
I recently restored a pair of old Soviet waffle irons from 1966 and I was really amazed at what I found inside.
It was obvious that it was built to last according to some strict engineering spec with quality parts everywhere.
Tiny washer rings on every nut and screw, several on some. No plastic, everything grounded with porcelain, proper wiring, still not rusted after sitting unused for 20 years. Really, just a quality product, especially for its time.

...

>muh reliable commie shit
Maybe they did build reliable things that last, but what good is it being reliable if it's completely unfit for purpose?

My granny worked in a waffle iron factory.
We still have some unused waffle irons lying around.

What do you mean by ''unfit for purpose''?

I once owned a Zenit 35mm camera, purchased just after the fall of communism, early 90's, when they were trying to flood U.S. markets with their shitty, backward ass electronics.

The winder for the film was made out of milled steel and was right in the middle of the camera body, just above the viewfinder. Everytime I used the camera, it sliced my forehead open, just above my nose.

When I think of communism, I remember that camera.

T-55, Ak-47, and Soyuz spacecraft are not shit.

>Aussie Holden with a Pontiac badge

Good car, but not really a Pontiac.

T55 is shit. Literally a 1 to 15 kill death ratio.

As an American I find the Gaz-24 to be awesome.

>T55
AHAHAHAHAHA

>I recently restored a pair of old Soviet waffle irons

Boris is it you?

>you pretend to work
>they pretend to pay you

>first generation MBT didn't do well against 80's American cutting-edge tanks
Alan...

The T-55 was literally the soviet tank version of Zap Branningan's strategy against the killbots

Much like most of Soviet military doctrine.

youtube.com/watch?v=EF3g4Ua5e7k

>you'll never drive through the streets of Leningrad in a T55 while crushing every piece of shit Russian "car" that gets in your way
Why even live?

Yes it was a great tank for it's time and can be run for many decades later.

Improved models better sights, missiles for the gun, and reactive armor systems.

Israelis gave them 105mms.

Did you ever actually face the Soviets?

What were you some street punk in Budapest or Kabul?

It was the best tank in the world at the time it was deployed. Which was early 50's (T-54).
Also, Soviets did improve them, T-55AM and AM2 were a different beast compared to older versions.
When US Army was still operating M60A1, Soviets had thousands of T-64's and T-72's.
From late 50's until late 80's, Soviets would cut through Europe like knife through hot butter.

Why are jeep cars so fucking shit

Anonku pls

not lada niva

also you are a massive faggot and you dont know nothing outside your rotten country

Cathedral of Christ the Saviour was destroyed to provide the marble for the Moscow metro.

...

Not a commie fan but those fucker knew how to make a refrigerators. I've heard that people still have them up and running.

soviet made products were made for harsh life and environment

Lada car was way moar better in the 70's and 80's than some 'capitalist' car. Also what about Kalashnikov aka AK-47, space ships, etc.?
We had Iron curtain we were 100% white, we lacked degeneracy meanwhile you and your (((western))) countries become nigger-cock suckers and degenerate cuck libtard mentally shitholes. Give the Iron curtain back, deport all shitskins and wipe out all (((western ))) degeneracy.

ywn never vomit in Icarus bus again
