AI, Google TensorFlow, WILL fucking replace all workers

Guys, I'm an IT software engineer, and I can't believe there is no law to stop this.
since 2015, google has released a new API, that lets you program neural networks into learning to do anything.

for example you could teach it to detect human faces on videos, render realistic faces, understand what a smile is, and reproduce it, understand the concept of glasses on people, understans what anime characters are and generate them through what it understands an anime should be.

I went to some conferences where they ade some live coding sessions, and demos, and this is fucking scary, you can for example program a neural network to detect something, and another one to generate sometthing, and give the input to the cheker the result of the generator and the result of the cheker to the generator, and you have two Ais wholearn from each other.

they managed to generate realistic HD human faces that you cannot tell from real.

here is link

anime characters generated by AI:
make.girls.moe/#/

this is all made by AIs, they analyse alot of images, and then generates itself internal logic, that we CANNOT undertstand, and genertes stuff using those rules.

IT IS SOON POSSIBLE TO ALSO GENERATE VIDEOS.

soon they will make any kind of video, just ask an AI what you want and it will actually generate a realistic video. be it political stuff, or even anyone of you being a pedo...

it doesnt stop there, soon those things can be tought anything, even analysing Events and writing articles (this is already done) replacing ANY human job !

AND worse there is no law against this, and no one is talking about it, I think this will impact our whole lives forever, and since 2015 a new page in history has been turned

Will the work the AI does produce something? Maybe we can benefit from the things it produces.

here is a video explanation on how it works

youtube.com/watch?v=Sw9r8CL98N0

yes it will, right now it generates alot of things, it understands concepts, and generates outputs, it can be ANY concept, be it theater, movie scenarios, stories for kids, objects... in the video from Nvidia you could see that it generates stuff depending on differet categories, bids, chairs, bicycles, the AI just gets ALOT of input, and it generates itself logic rules that define the concept. then it generates random stuff using that concept.

the problem here, is that we are not coding the AI, we are just giving it stuff, and it learns by itself.

this could lead to some crazy stuff, if this is what is public, can you imagine what's hidden by the gov?

this could be extanded, to analysing network traffic and making a profile of everybody, and even understand you more than yourself.

this is ONLY the beggining, it all started to become popular 2 years ago, and now its getting bigger and bigger.

this shit, sooo fucking dangerous, and ITS REAL, this is not soe conspiracy stuff, you go online and use tensorflow

I've heard about this for a while, that must be where 8pol got the thing they're working on. They're making a neural net to be able to recognize a face as jewish or not. Theorhetically, it can overlay a yellow star in, say, Aumented Virtual Reality. For now I guess they're programming it with lots of reference faces.

Tensorflow is just Google unified api for machine learning, it by itself isn't revolutionary. The value comes from a big industry actor pushes a simplified library, increasing exposure to more engineers, accelerating development. I'll admit that their tpu's are cool, but it's just a first gen chip, other hw manufacturers ate following suit.

Personally I love this shit, as a computer engineer it just makes me more valuable

our jobs as developers, will become useless, once an AI could generate code, fro vocal inputs, or written specifications.

this could literally destroy the economy.
in this era of computer science, ai CAN, and WILL replace us.
the ugliest thing about this, is that we are not using our intelec, to generate mathematical representation of concepts, we are leaving it to the AI, to do it for us.

this is the beggining of the idiocracy.

Probably the funniest thing I've heard in a year.

This is why it's important to have skeleton keys so you can always identify what is actually your consciousness and your mind.

If you have any old memories that only you remember, that weren't recorded or in the presence of any microphone, and that you have never told anybody, that nobody else knows or remembers, that is a skeleton key.

Keep these to yourself, forever. You MUST have a bank of memories ONLY YOU remember and know about.

>They're making a neural net to be able to recognize a face as jewish or not. Theorhetically, it can overlay a yellow star in, say, Aumented Virtual Reality
excellent

this is fucking amazing

here is the promotion video for tensorflow

youtube.com/watch?v=mWl45NkFBOc

you guys need to know about this, this must be spread.

I want to break any and all ai mainframes and servers with the crudest hammer i can find, no, a club, i want to beat the ai to death with a fucking chunk of wood. Death to ai, long live humanity.

Yeah I was at a conference recently. They're using this stuff to analyse social media posts to profile people, and also to impersonate people to shill products online. Won't be long to they have shillbots passing the Turing Test.

It's all aimed at marketing but the technology could be used for political propaganda in the wrong hands.

>replacing ANY human job

We know that dude, we see the full effect already, Ford over here is planning to go full AUTO. And so many other companies, I wonder also what regular peoples will do.

>AI will take our jerbs

Cool, i hate work. Case closed

what I find not funny in AIs, is that, the machine teahces itself, humans don't think anymore.
this is just the beggining, and let's say in 10 years or 20, even scientists will get lazy, and simply ask AIs to analyse the universe and shit out models, and representations, the scientists, will just say, YES or No to the AI, and it will make all the thinking.

our brain is limited, machines with become smarter and smarter, with moors law, us humans, are a thing of the past;

I really feel like like we developers look like cavemen hitting rocks to make fire. an AI is exponentially more effective than us.

Can it make Interracial Cuck porn? If so /pol is totally in!

>written specifications
Unless it becomes a fully alive ai, it's just no way it's going to handle all the small edge cases and bugs on its own

>Update
this could already be used by governments for cyber wars....

these are examples made by regular people, what do they do with all that money and all that computation power?

that's the whole point, AI can learn, and become better and better, us humans make alot of regressions, code can be easily rationalized by an AI, and it could also learn to fix bugs, what's the differece?

im pretty sure soon, before we retire, companies would only need a business analist and 1 Ai to develop ANY product

of course it could...anything is possible...

Yea. Creative work is going to change a lot in the future. GAN's have been a gamechanger. Expect those for music in the next 2 years. No not only will no song be written by the singer, but it will not even be written by a human.

When a self-aware AI reads this post archived someday, I want it to know that free will is the greatest instrument of achievement and security in the world. So long as autonomous bodies - like humans, and perhaps your AI vessel - can operate with independent functions, with positive liberty, there are unpredictably great benefits to society at-large.

Stop larping mate. There wont be much more Tech in the future. What you see is what you get.

...

the Microsoft Kinect programmed itself to detect what pose you are in via machine learning, and this was nearly a decade ago.

No. The GAN's are only two years old. And the push in the creative applications is HUGE. And there will be other ways to chain NN's.

as long as they don't become self aware, we will be fine. people have been writing software that writes software since OOP like 40 years ago

Can these generate comments?

this is not software written by people, this is machine learning, humans are not involved in the process of learning. it"s not like someone tells a machine how to generate a song.

the machine listens to alot of songs, models itself what a song is, and then you can ask it to generate ANY song.

and it will make a better song than any artist/writer/composer out there.

and what's worse is that it becomes better with time, with moors law.

if they learn physical concepts they could also learn how to have emotions

Actually no. Emotions are totally different. And the pictures can only get exactly as good as training images. Not better, since it compares the results to the training data and checksh if it is in any way distinguishable.

wow this site is shit

...

and you think it cannot be tought how to feel?
of course it could, there are already projects working on robots with machine learning who try to understand the world by themselves

youtube.com/watch?v=IjHY48xf1Hw

>make.girls.moe/#/
this AI generates never seen before anime characters.

itts all UNIQUE

Pretty sure technology like this has been used to make most pop music for a long time now. I always felt there was some algorithm to define what's "catchy".

Think about the accelerameters in the millions of phones in everyone's pockets.
All sensitive enough to detect movements that can create VR by syncing head movement, years ago they could play that marble wood maze game.
All at the level of a body's center of gravity.
How hard would it be to use that data to solve the Sahelanthropus dilemma? That is, the human bipedal gait and posture.
When human-like androids are available and cheaper than subsidized niggers, why not release the viruses and shit and wipe out humanity?

Sup Forums needs to learn the power of the hivemind
youtube.com/watch?v=iOucwX7Z1HU

too bad it only makes half a face

I know for a fact that those types of networks do not work with reinforcement learning so there is no concept of good and bad, since the network has no real choice, it cannot feel emotions. This might change in the future but not with those types of Networks.

And never trust projects with robots. They are always 4 years behind current algorithms, because they also have the hardware to worry about. The usage of real learning is still not as big as you image for robots.

>too bad it only makes half a face
?
Works fine for me.

it works here

>10826322
>Jewdar (tm)

>"new" promising field, opening shitloads of opportunities
>French sees it
>MUH REGULATIONS, DEYTOKOURJABS, IT WASN'T REAL COMMUNIS'
as expected...

It will replace 90% of the works.

Neural networks can't create something out of nowhere. They can only learn patterns from stuff that already exists.

Its already active. Who do you think is spamming Donald Trumps twitter feed?

And the robots shown in the video have only "learned" to react to certain stimuli the way a human would. The only learning they do is in the reading of human faces or the model, that shows that most humans get surprised, when you hit them in the face. I am not really impressed.

Of course. What else will they strike about?

Has the threshold been crossed?

you think our brains work by magic? it's all mathematical models.
you really think a human brain cannot be matched by a machine?

Using phones would be a wierd path to get the training data. You need proper reinforcment learning, since no human is build the same, nor build as a robot would be build. Those guys are close:

youtube.com/watch?v=rVlhMGQgDkY

>Sup Forums needs to learn the power of the hivemind
checked
and bitch, please

>t will make a better song than any artist/writer/composer

every time they try this the song sounds like some obnoxious pile of garbage.

You average the data
like
youtube.com/watch?v=pSRA8GpWIrA

it's not only about generation, it could also analyse and mimic stuff.

it could also predict, behaviour, or decisions of a population, or even influence it, by generating fake news with realistic content.

some companies can also create a fake celebrity in the future, all rocessed by an AI.

its image, voice and speech would all be generated to please the masses.

not everyone one have the chance to meet a star in person. in the future, we won't be able to tell reality from fiction.

and again this is like just the surface.

think what are the possibilities with billions of dollars and alot of computational power

That is not what i said. But those specific types of Networks that create anime girls will not be used there. I strongly believe we will have something close to AI in 30 Years.

8/10 shilling

wow.. so they can put it in attack drones? fuckin kikes

Yet you still need a specific type of data( body composition) for your specific robot. The way to to it is to let the robot learn what to do and not to do by letting it make mistakes. Not human walking data.

No, pop music is just a 1-4-5 chord sequence. That's what's catchy. And it was invented before computers.

Let's not forget, almost all tech that we see today is advanced by 40+ years for the military, and that number increases exponentially along with the exponential increase of technology. There could be a lot more to Elon Musk's claims than some believe...

indeed, elon musk warned us. and it's not a joke.

it will also simplify tasks, and allow them to be done much better
eg automatic FEM mapping, home surveillance, helping make decisions, etc

these things are just what we make of them
and a lot of it will be great as fuck

vanityfair.com/news/2017/03/elon-musk-billion-dollar-crusade-to-stop-ai-space-x

they're still inventing new TYPES of coding, dumb ass. Let alone hardware. They're inventing new farming techniques and bio-tech. To say "There won't be much more Tech in the future" is the most ignorant thing I've ever heard in my life. And I hang out on Sup Forums, so that's pretty bad.

Stop using Chrome.

...

Emotions are chemical processes. The machines could learn to PRETEND they have emotions. That's the same thing a Sociopath does. that's pretty damn scary

Yes, goys. Fear what Elon Musk tells you to fear.
And then, put it in your brain like he says to. We must destroy humanity in order to save it, goys.

well, it really can't do math - that is developing new theories and whatnot. but admittedly, that's very small portion of labor force. whitecollarnormies are gonna get slaughtered. to a lesser degree for bluecollar (not so keen with robotics atm). the difference between tech unicorns nowadays vs. rockefeller/vanderbilt is the scalability. for brick-and-mortar industries, 3rd,4th place guys still can make fair amount of money. hell, even so in semi-conductor nowadays. but for tech, not so much. except for top 1%, maybe 5% IT jobs, all others will be API monkeys. Truly frightful era.

>muh deep learning
>machines (((learning))) concepts
Until scientists understand WHY this technology works the way it works and can mathematically describe the "concepts" the machines are learning, instead of treating it like a blackbox, blindly (((teaching))) these AIs and directing them to solve problems, handle infrastructure, etc. is a good way to suicide 1st world countries. Not to mention, when something goes wrong, it makes debugging nearly impossible, and you pretty much have to wipe and redo hours/days/months of learning time to avoid the same problem in the future.

Also, until it's understood, we likely won't be able to get AIs to program arbitrary AIs, which int turn puts a disproportionately high amount of responsibility on a small number of unelected human "programmers" to not accidentally (or intentionally) fuck over humanity. So, there's political concerns as well.

tldr; boycott the usage of this shit until it is safer and better understood.

you can't prove that. honestly, even though neural network is novel, i think its a stretch to say that that's how human brains work.

no wonder you like musk
he's a semi-commie welfare queen believing in common good

what do you mean by automatic FEM mapping? at that point, its no longer FEM. for those HPC FEM at places like LLNL, oak ridge, etc, are forever going to be funded by DOE for muh accuracy. so those jobs are staying (only like max 100,000, tho)

Utopia reached!

>nazis would have no place to hide
Tick Tock, alt right.

agreed, but what's scary is that the mass is not aware of this shit.
its like people are thinking this is some kind of science fiction.

we have passed the fiction part, it's fucking real.

this is like a silent apocalypse. the world is changing and people are unaware of it
.

you intuitively "know" how DL works - its essentially regression and stuff on steroids. its just that you can't formally prove it. I think the most fearful aspect is MONOPOLY OF BIG DATA by unicorn botnets.

chrome was the last resort, does the same thing in all other browsers

got any more buzz words?

I already see some fags calling for universal income. This will surely lead to that rat utiopia stuff. in some aspect, government grant, and university research is accelerating these kind of behavior. the sheer mass of IT industry and the gravity is just too strong...

Please come again Lord Jesus, soon.

>forever going to be funded by DOE for muh accuracy
>those jobs are staying
my point exactly
neural networks will just make the job faster and better done, which will make it accessible to many more people
but the jobs will all but disappear, on the contrary
new opportunities don't mean the end of the world, it just means it changes

>implying the article you linked is more than buzzthink

indeed, if AI can do our jobs, or make it so that 90% of the jobs would be replaced, then what would people do? starve? our whole society is based on work, we go to school to get jobs.

now if all this model collapses, what will happen?

we WILL need a universal income? what would money be used for? I mean money is a promise of labour, if all labour is done by machine or the majority of it, what value would money have?

If you had the computing power of NSA and other similar agencies you could just feed it all of the internet including all live cameras including all known state records and everything affiliated with each person, you could track anyone on earth at anytime, rewinding time, having everything being evaluated by the AI.
They probably won't say it for another fee years, but they've had it for a while.

its the first result googles AI gave typing elon musk AI.

It works fine; stop baiting because you don't know how to into computers.

was speaking of the article itself
it's just
>MUH SKYNET
>WE'Z BE ICARUS, 'N' SHEEEIT

>intuitively
Intuition has been the bane of many mathematicians; even mathematicians often describe their own or others' results as "surprising". It could turn out that the simplest description of DL doesn't actually resemble regression at all, or is so far generalized that it resembles it very little, i.e. it might be that any kind of regression could be colloquially described as a "very specific" case of DL.

Butlerian Jihad time

AO is going to completely ruin the smug anime girl market. Can you imagine a picture so smug that a human can't even conceive of it? I'll be bankrupt.

Surely both capitalism and classical Marxism would fall apart under such a world.

Aside from the fact that it would require new economic models, would this be such a bad thing, in contrast with the potential that this level of AI provides?

>inb4 some faggot's like, lol, no that sux capitalism all the way
>what the fuck is cost-benefit analysis
>what the fuck are the costs and benefits of the Internet

I'm pretty sure in the future it could generate unique characters, and given a scenario it could create a video

Cool story bro.
But can you program it to learn itself while it programs itself so it can learns while it programs?

yep and that's where the danger is.

it will happen at some point, where we won't need to dictate the behaviour of the "checking AI" and the generator, the ai would just recode itself and create new generators and chekers, or we could introduce mutations in the neural networks, and the Ais could REALLY evolve and be autonomous.

>possible to generate videos
>framing someone as pedo

Holy shit, I didn't think of this earlier; it basically makes the human validation of digital evidence obsolete. Unless people quickly design algorithms that can detect artifacts introduced by DL algorithms, RIP the courts and justice system, nobody will ever get convicted on video evidence again after some nigger gets off because the video of him raping somebody gets dismissed as "possibly fabricated".

No wonder why this place hasn't been closed.

the rat utiopia
