I heard Britain was having some bullshit debate about red poppies. How long until remember the fallen becomes a hate crime because its not inclusive enough?
Dominic Torres
I didn't realize OP got to make the fucking rule.
That seems to be the problem with brits, isn't it? Making rule for everyone.
Logan Moore
They had to cancel a parade because the od bill apparently could not afford to police it. >apparently.

disgusting anglo, i was going to say something positive to you, but reading your stupid shit made me wish for your imminent destruction by some filthy semite bombing you back to a caliphate. You are and always will be the traitors of Europe.

The point of Belgium is having a "neutral" country for the Anglos to land on the European mainland anytime and fuck shit up. The moment someone takes this condition from the Anglo, they cry "warcrime, muh neutral country".
Belgium is the Anglo staging area on the way to kill aryans.
Jose Ward
You know.....this is a pretty good point.
Gabriel Green
>British were literal descendants of aryans Nice try though. German still can't deal with their first defeat of 3 in the past 100 years.

Bent double, like old beggars under sacks, Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge, Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs, And towards our distant rest began to trudge. Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots, But limped on, blood-shod. All went lame; all blind; Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots Of gas-shells dropping softly behind.
Gas! GAS! Quick, boys!—An ecstasy of fumbling Fitting the clumsy helmets just in time, But someone still was yelling out and stumbling And flound’ring like a man in fire or lime.— Dim through the misty panes and thick green light, As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.
In all my dreams before my helpless sight, He plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning.
If in some smothering dreams, you too could pace Behind the wagon that we flung him in, And watch the white eyes writhing in his face, His hanging face, like a devil’s sick of sin; If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs, Obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues,— My friend, you would not tell with such high zest To children ardent for some desperate glory, The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori.

>all Australia cares about rememberence anymore is fucking abo soldiers and how mistreated they were :'(
Half a league, half a league, Half a league onward, All in the valley of Death Rode the six hundred. “Forward, the Light Brigade! Charge for the guns!” he said. Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred.
“Forward, the Light Brigade!” Was there a man dismayed? Not though the soldier knew Someone had blundered. Theirs not to make reply, Theirs not to reason why, Theirs but to do and die. Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred.
Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon in front of them Volleyed and thundered; Stormed at with shot and shell, Boldly they rode and well, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of hell Rode the six hundred.
Flashed all their sabres bare, Flashed as they turned in air Sabring the gunners there, Charging an army, while All the world wondered. Plunged in the battery-smoke Right through the line they broke; Cossack and Russian Reeled from the sabre stroke Shattered and sundered. Then they rode back, but not Not the six hundred.
Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon behind them Volleyed and thundered; Stormed at with shot and shell, While horse and hero fell. They that had fought so well Came through the jaws of Death, Back from the mouth of hell, All that was left of them, Left of six hundred.
When can their glory fade? O the wild charge they made! All the world wondered. Honour the charge they made! Honour the Light Brigade, Noble six hundred!
Jackson Ward

I KNOW that I shall meet my fate Somewhere among the clouds above; Those that I fight I do not hate Those that I guard I do not love; My country is Kiltartan Cross, 5 My countrymen Kiltartan’s poor, No likely end could bring them loss Or leave them happier than before. Nor law, nor duty bade me fight, Nor public man, nor cheering crowds, A lonely impulse of delight Drove to this tumult in the clouds; I balanced all, brought all to mind, The years to come seemed waste of breath, A waste of breath the years behind In balance with this life, this death.
Hunter Mitchell
as general patton said, we fought the wrong enemy. there are dozens of ways WW2 could have been completely prevented if it were not for (((them))) and their tricks
Sebastian Butler
What passing-bells for these who die as cattle? Only the monstrous anger of the guns. Only the stuttering rifles' rapid rattle Can patter out their hasty orisons. No mockeries now for them; no prayers nor bells; Nor any voice of mourning save the choirs, – The shrill, demented choirs of wailing shells; And bugles calling for them from sad shires. What candles may be held to speed them all? Not in the hands of boys but in their eyes Shall shine the holy glimmers of goodbyes. The pallor of girls' brows shall be their pall; Their flowers the tenderness of patient minds, And each slow dusk a drawing-down of blinds.
Carter Green
I've seen very few poppies this year.

> Implies all Germans are murderers who invade innocent countries during ww1 although ww1 is historically more complicated. > Yet invaded and colonized the 2/3 of the undeveloped world. > Only recently helped in the killing of 250k Iraqi civilians during the stupid and unjustified 2003 Iraq War because they suck US dick so much > Cries inside because the UK is now an economic dwarf on the world stage. > Rule Britannia
Angel Ramirez
Watching a round up of today's RD gatherings. A bunch of women and deluded men talking about the importance of the many women that gave their lives in service.
Um OK. Not debating allied female civilian casualties and a number of near front nurses etc but this is a bullshit narrative.
Is it so fucking wrong to acknowledge that overwhelmingly men have died for their nations?
To top it all off, even the sports reports were bullshit. 5 minutes on the women's ashes - no one gives a fuck and it won't make any money despite how hard it's memed
Blake Reed
Not a thread for shitposting Fuck off

With proud thanksgiving, a mother for her children, England mourns for her dead across the sea. Flesh of her flesh they were, spirit of her spirit, Fallen in the cause of the free.
Solemn the drums thrill; Death august and royal Sings sorrow up into immortal spheres, There is music in the midst of desolation And a glory that shines upon our tears.
They went with songs to the battle, they were young, Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow. They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted; They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
They mingle not with their laughing comrades again; They sit no more at familiar tables of home; They have no lot in our labour of the day-time; They sleep beyond England's foam.
But where our desires are and our hopes profound, Felt as a well-spring that is hidden from sight, To the innermost heart of their own land they are known As the stars are known to the Night;
As the stars that shall be bright when we are dust, Moving in marches upon the heavenly plain; As the stars that are starry in the time of our darkness, To the end, to the end, they remain.

No, I wasn't. I was not born. You, however, are under our rule. Sad.

Remembrance Day is about how pointless and stupid a conflict ww1 was. It's literally on the end date of ww1. Has nothing to do with ww2 except honouring the people who died in battle there

You have an Ontario flag on
Dylan Turner
Trudeau didn't pull out of that?
Well even if he did we in BC will always be the crown colony. I really want to leave Canada to rejoin Britain to be honest and I think the newfies want the same
Aiden Walker
You can pull out of whatever you want and put a leaf on your flag. Doesn't really matter. Wish the Vancouverites I met shared your attitude. Most seem to really resent the UK and Canadian (muh colonialism) history.
>tfw your great-grandfather served with the BEF at The Somme

Were these Vancouverites white and born there?
Most real British Columbians have left that city to wait for a day we might take it back. It's mostly occupied by Chinese and cucks from Ontario now
Asher Cruz
White but not anglo. Not born there either. The biggest leaf-teaboo I met was a chink actually. I've never visited so my experience is limited to leafs I've met in Europe.

>You, however, are under our rule. Sad. Why do Americans think this? The US never makes the UK do anything and we certainly wouldn't listen if you tried to boss us around. I think you're confusing the fact that our countries get along with having an actual empire.

Happy veterans day commonwealth cucks.

No Germ-user, today is not a day of shitposting. Today is a day in which I remember anyone brave enough to pick up a rifle and fight with pride, be they German, Canadian, Japanese or Russian. We stand on the shoulders of giant whom only ask we remember them. These are big shoes to fill on the path to becoming a hero.

My family had a long military history until the end of the 2nd world war but none since.
Great grandfather was a Colonel through both and his son, my grandfather's brother, was in a bomber that was shot down 3 times; Once over the English Channel where he ended up floating on debris for 5 days. My grandfather can still remember word for word the telegram his mother received stating he was missing and presumed dead.
Another family member lost the back of his legs when a mortar landed behind him the Battle of the Somme.
Still have a bunch of stuff from the war they collected. Old shells, bayonets etc. but a lot of it was given away to museums like the German officer's sword we had but I'm hoping to inherit what's left.

>The treaty was a fundamental "lawmaking" treaty that became a cornerstone of European international law; it was especially important in the events leading up to World War I.[8] On 31 July 1914 the mobilisation of the Belgian Army was ordered, and the Belgian King at the same time publicly called Europe's attention to the fact that Germany, Great Britain and France were solemnly bound to respect and to defend the neutrality of his country.[9] When the German Empire invaded Belgium in August 1914 in violation of the treaty, the British declared war on 4 August.[10][11] Informed by the British ambassador that Britain would go to war with Germany over the latter's violation of Belgian neutrality, German Chancellor Theobald von Bethmann Hollweg exclaimed that he could not believe that Britain and Germany would be going to war over a mere 'scrap of paper'.[12]
Jonathan Torres
All nazis in Great Britain should be jailed for being what their ancestors fought so hard against. A tolerant and inclusive Britain is the only way to preserve their legacy and honour their sacrifice.
Ryder Ward
Not really.
It's not a thing over here, shame really. A lot of Germans have this smug complex that if any Brit mentions anything remotely WW2 related they're automatically 'Little Englander' ect.
Ryder Watson
British soldiers fight for ZOG, thus are fighting for our elimination and enslavement as a race. Why should we care?
Jeremiah Torres
Go away jew

So are you saying that Germany has a "don't mention the war" complex?
