Moving to Ukraine for job opportunities is very weird, to say the least. Unemployment is quite high, the jobs are low-paying in general. There are several millions of Ukrainians working abroad, because of lack of jobs in Ukraine.
As for Russian language. Well, there are millions of ethnic Ukrainians who speak Russian as their first language...
It's not really the problem, especially if you are foreigner.
There are many people from post-soviet countries, like Georgians or Armenians, living here and they speak Russian obviously. And it's absolutely normal, nobody demands them to speak Ukrainian. But if you have to deal with official institutions, documentation then yeah, there's not much choice. It's all in Ukrainian.

I am aware of the wages situation, but the difference is that there are no jobs in my region due to the EU policies, and I can't afford to move the the city, while going to Ukraine is still cheaper and has jobs too. This is why many have left to the UK and Germany here.
And about the Donetsk wannabe guerillas: they are just Russian troops playing dressup for the most part, if the Kiev cucks wouldn't be such pussies and kept on hammering them Russia would eventually have to either blow it's cover or pull out, the wannabes are still a thing only due to to Russia backing it.
There are jobs available in my specialities there though, while the ones here were shut down because the EU centralized them all to big cities. And I intend to atleast try Ukrainian - it is the state language after all. Not doing so would be a scum move.
