Many libertarians forget why they became libertarians and then find themselves puzzled as to why plebs aren't convinced by their superior ethics. I cant speak for all of you but for me it was NOT simply because it is a consistent ethical philosophy. For me it was the understanding that I have goals I want to pursue and that the state will tax and imprison me because my goals clash with the goals of the state. I just want to be left alone, but that is an impossibility with the state.
in the case of the national socialist, all they want is a homogeneous, interdependent traditionalist community. It must be made clear to them that the state will not allow that, because its racism, nazism, hatespeech whatever. The bottom line is that the state stands in the way of you pursuing your destiny. The rubber hits the road here and you can apply the philosophy to your life. Intellectualizing about ethics convinces almost no one. It has to be applicable to the right here right now. Ethics without practicality and application is not much different than doing math problems for fun.
