Haven't you guys only gotten commie blocks built since ww2?

That looks like itd be fun to ride my bike around there.

dat tower is in belgrade but we also have spooky looking commieblocks.

Jews

>implying you're not just jelly that every American has a large backyard and every other house has its own swimming pool

should have planned your cities better yurop, get off our dicks for living in luxury

All those people living there made sacrifices to get away from niggers and commies.

You could never understand before now. But you will soon enough.

Exactly, my point is haven't we all gotten KIKED pretty hard in the architecture department since WW2?

Because the people who inhabit it are ugly, inside and out.

Suburban sprawl is the tombstone of western society.

Protip: Architecture is the only department. It informs our worldview.

Commies know this while everyone else complains.

>luxury

those look like antiutopian farms, not to mention that they add useless travel expenses + made out of cheap wood

pic rel is luxury - doe classy is better word

your pic at least has colours, local commieblock incoming...

Where are trees, parks, kids playgrounds, stores, something ffs.

Efficiency is devoid of all things nice.

>not even a two car garage
thats a fucking low income house in america lmao

our superdooper commieblock. But location is perfect doe, 10 min walk to the center of city, parks all around

What's so fun about it? It's literally all the same. I like biking in the nature.

>checked

>thats a fucking low income house in america lmao

for real? that looks like a high quality material house - red brick is expensive and great for heating and cooling. good woodwork, they got cheap on ceiling covers but whatever

The decline of White European (now global) architecture post WW2 is well known and well understood. I suggest you read James Howard Kunstler. Also watch his TED talk (one of the few TED talks that are actually worth watching, back when TED actually invited interesting people).

youtube.com/watch?v=Q1ZeXnmDZMQ

For full disclosure, Kunstler is a Jew, but not all Jews have to been shady nefarious merchants with horrible ulterior motives.

>horrible ulterior motives
sounds like Kunstler wants diversity in houses again rather than conformity

Architectural diversity, yes. Don't be obtuse.

I dont even think that overurbanisation caused that. sykscrapers used to look beautiful like that Chrysler one.

Regarding suburban, I find these humble america houses so charming. Today american subburb looks like cells.

I don't know man, I've only lived in the southern U.S. where property is cheap and most of the homes here include a fire place, swimming pool, two car garage, personal driveway, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and at least a half or full acre of property

When I watch house hunter shows in Europe the homes are always small and expensive, with none of the amenities I'd get here besides the fire place

>I've only lived in the southern U.S. where property is cheap and most of the homes here include a fire place, swimming pool, two car garage, personal driveway, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and at least a half or full acre of property

sounds pimp. house prices here are close to same as in US. You have far more land.

Yes, the Chrysler building and the Empire State were part of the Art Deco school, one of the last schools of architecture that actually valued beauty.
This article deals quite well with the issue, although it's a bit left-leaning at some points:
currentaffairs.org/2017/10/why-you-hate-contemporary-architecture

Don't get tunnel vision m8, i'd take all the commie blocks in the world if we could have Goebbels take over the media in return.

Architecture is just one part of the larger picture, even if it is the most tangible/overt part.

I don't know man, probably for the same reason Croatians all dye their hair blonde

Suburbs are a natural response to distance yourself and police against black and browns.

Whites moved here to isolate themselves. It's easier to patrol and requires blacks and browns to travel farther in order to rob and kill white people.

My God

...

>Art Deco

Peak Western aesthetics - utilitarian beauty.

Only dogshit after that, either conservative McMansions or some leftist pretentious unfunctional faggy Postmodern minimalism.

...

Jews
They pushed whites out of their cities and generations old homelands to seek refuge from shitskins

Our countries were destroyed after WW2, we had to build fast and cheap. We also had to buid big immigrant containment areas in the 50s and 60s. You have no excuse, Paco.

Symmetry makes me erect.

Except we never had a blatant control by communism, they did
They've an excuse, we don't

>cherrypicking

>They've an excuse, we don't

but not for this. these are our mcmansions

new england has great architecture

Sure we do, Jewish subversion and a tight leash on information of any kind
Unlike you guys we didn't ask for our destruction and had to be secretly subverted while you cucks welcomed it

>ugly
Are you retarded, i would choke a puppy to have this amount of order.

House prices are close to same? Which parts of the US are you talking about? Those in your pic could cost anywhere from $50K to a million, depending on where they're located. Top two are standard fare for a midwest old-money 'burb.

As a Packers fan I hate the Bears but god was classic Soldiers Field one of the most beautiful stadiums in all of sports.

Not sure what people's problem with suburbs is. Big comfy home, small yards, nice curved geometric neighborhoods.

I like the look of contemporary homes, except for the stupid combined kitchen/dining room/living room thing. The old ones were only particularly nice when they were mansion sized. The 1940s-1970s were pretty shit, though.

Wow, a TED talk actually listening to, I'm glad I did.

Jewish subversion does not justify bad taste in architecture. Here everyone knows that commieblocks and glass boxes are ugly, but we don't decide whether we want them or not, meanwhile in america, millions of Amerisharts choose to spend their life in debt for an 8000sq ft cardboard "mansion" with a 5 car garage.

>Big comfy home, small yards, nice curved geometric neighborhoods.

that is a big apartment with a bit of grass. you have drive literally everywhere - your kids also. talk about expenses. Their durability also isnt high since termites and pinewood.

>House prices are close to same? Which parts of the US are you talking about?

Some solid brick house in the South costs almost the same as in croatia subburb.

I ALSO HATE LEFTIST FAGS WHO CLAIM PIC REL AS BEAUTY

I don't care for handegg, but I was born in Chicago and seeing that transformation was painful.

>This was less than 80 years ago...look how far we've fallen.

What's bad about it? If your poor are living like that you really are doing something good.

this is a joke, isn't it?

What kind if houses do you want

>you have drive literally everywhere
So? We have more cars than people. My family literally has two cars for each person. My commute is an hour each way, but I live in the forest in a mountain village and have all the advantages of city living, except that it takes the ambulance 20 minutes to get here, which is not actually much longer than in the city.

Why are foreigners so obsessed with our suburbs? A lot of people have the opportunity to live in any number of environments, but they choose the suburban life because it's actually quite nice.

national capitalism is the way to the future

It's not ugly (well some parts are), but what I don't like that everything looks the same (street patterns etc).

Here we follow the laws of nature (no artificial GRID).

Virginia needs to die before the bears get better. She's been holding the team back for years

.>pic rel
thats before stomfront and after stormfront
there is still a difference with Sup Forums

This way your home is your own and completely different to everyone elses.

Sour grapes.

Do you mean building on hillsides? Neighborhoods in hilly areas are exactly like that in the US. We have a lot of flat open spaces that lets us build geometric neighborhoods here.

No culture= shitty country

That depends I suppose....are you laughing yet?

man this thread is depressing. I've been living on Long Island my whole life and consider myself fortunate to live in a suburb that grew organically. Even here it can feel a little soulless at times if you're not near the water. I try to think of this place as my home but a lot of it feels like I could be anywhere in the country without it making a difference. I traveled a little too, visiting some family in the south, and there are some rare occasions where I felt like I was nowhere at all.

Aesthetic beauty of your surroundings is important. I noticed I started feeling better when I cleaned up my computer desk, for example. I thought Alex Jones was being his usual clownish self when he said modern architecture was deliberately ugly to make people feel small but maybe he was on to something. . .

I kinda like the door arch thing desu

>If your poor are living like that you really are doing something good.

its middle class people in USA. No matter the class it shouldnt be as ugly.

yours is more natural, far more green and cute.

>My family literally has two cars for each person.

crazy. where do you keep them?

>that post
>that flag

Ultimately its due to inflationary currency. Most of the great architecture of the world was built using hard currency...this is because its natural deflationary aspects, that long term projects can be completed.
In a world of ever increasing inflation and debt, long term projects can no longer be accomplished (without massive over investments).
tldr. Everything now must be slapped together fromparticle board using same blueprints for KFC, Bank, Dr office, etc. because our money sucks. Rome to 1967 was built using Gold.

>its the daily yuropoor makes thread about HOAs in america

Ok then burgerbro, that could be it.
But still, stop building geometric neighborhoods pls (how can it be even slightly interesting to live there?).

>when you are about to masturbate but you first have to check if someone is watching or not

Also, we do have flat spaces in Norway too (not many)... and even there we don't build in a grid pattern.

>all of that does not amount to a single new york apartment

lol those houses are fucking gay
t. trump

Croatians aren't white

Are you; a leddit transplant, nonwhite or just a slow-learner?

Two in the garage. Two in the main driveway. Two in the side driveway. One is a convertible used in the summer. Another is a pick-up truck for hauling/camping. One is just old and should probably be sold, but my dad hates to get rid of cars. The other three are for commuting/shopping. The commuter cars are all high efficiency, two of them hybrids.

What's the problem with geometric neighborhoods? We don't like to live in a maze unless it's a natural and wooded maze.

>I kinda like the door arch thing desu

its not the arch, but that wooden arch has a "connecting stone"

>modern architecture was deliberately ugly to make people feel small but maybe he was on to something. . .

modern postmodern lefty arch is only half of the pic, american subburb is a conservative creation. But Im not shitting on america here, I only wonder why havent you continued with that stunning American Art Deco and other styles you had? pic rel.

>Croatians aren't white

what is the cutoff?

>t. trump

look at the inside of his NY flat. prepare to puke.

this guy would have a field day with my house, and he'd be right too. Still, I'd rather have ugly mcmansions than ugly commieblocks.

>It wasnt always like that, america had pretty good architects pre ww2
So true I love art deco statues like pic related, especially when they are used as floor pillars

Plant some fucking trees and parks then dummy. Flowerbeds are nice too.

They were Jewish

I wish art deco wood come back in style. I always had a fetish for Art Deco. I blame Batman.
