1933-1945 europe like everybody else

It would just be filled with a bunch of squishy lolis, though.
Could you handle watching a little moe Caesar getting stabbed with a wooden knife?

HE WAS A CONSUL OF ROME

Mein Kampf

I'd prefer a little moe Caesar getting stabbed to death with a real knife by a little moe Brutus and his little moe co-assassins.

Just like real life

>greatest empire ever

They were ravaged by a bunch of autistic barbarians on loincloth. At least say the Spanish empire, that went down only when the entirety of Europe went after it.

i'd like to see the Hundred Years' War

Actually, the greatest ever was the Mongol Empire.
Anime about Genghis Khan's life when?

>Greatest Empire to ever exist

Kiniro Mosaic was kinda about Britain.

I take it you never watched that bathhouse anime about the Roman empire.

It was a very funny 2-3 min per episode anime. I think it got 2 seasons.

Tl;dr - they did

ummayyad caliphate

>Not the Rashidun caliphs
>Not Abbasid caliphate
>Not the Ottomans

Shit taste in caliphates bruh.

Anime about rome? They did. It exists. Google.

It is amazing.

An anime about the actual greatest empire that ever lived, Britain, would be sweet.

Set in the 17 or 18 hundreds. All about voyages, adventure and discovery of new lands. And some Gunboat diplomacy thrown in.

>not islamic state lolis and shotas

Super shit taste user.

>greatest empire that ever lived, Britain
kek
>All about voyages, adventure and discovery of new lands
And don't forget raping and mass murder of everything that isn't white when they went on those voyages.
Scotland is the only not shitty part of britain.

>faggots haven't read thermae romae
Truly plebeian tier.

Hey now. In Rome, it was only gay if you were the bottom.

I would prefer one about the Golden Horde and the Russian princes

There were even live action movies made.

How is bringing civilization bad?

Romans are well and good, but I would drown a small child for an anime about the Ottomans. Specifically, I want a harem anime about an actual harem. As in, a wishy-washy Ottoman prince trying to chose one concubine from his large and varied harem from every corner of the Empire, including:

-tsundere Greek girl
-haughty Austrian ojou-sama
-buxom, bro-ish Slav, frequently drunk
-angry Arab loli who thinks everything is haram; constantly fights with Slav-chan
-slutty Hungarian girl, lots of horse-riding innuendo
-delicious brown Somali girl
-stunning Circassian girl that wins in the end

Supporting male characters can include a Bosniak/Albanian as the obligatory bro-tier friend who hangs out with the MC for no reason and urges him on. To gain girl viewers you can throw in some bishie Janissaries.

I think this could be a big hit. Seriously. Make it happen, Japan.

If you throw in some eunuchs, it's a deal.

>Wanting a harem anime for turkroaches
Words cannot describe my disgust.

I want to see a gag comedy depicting the current Middle Eastern clusterfuck. Internal agents are lolis/teenagers, foreign agents are cakes/milfs.

Internal:
Syrian Arab Army- Former Student Council president. Used to getting her own way, but nowadays she has to rely on Russia-sama and Iran-sama to keep from being bullied by the other girls.
Rojava/PKK/YPG- Closet Commie, really hates Turkey. Collects old weapons as a hobby. Constantly sucks up to the West.
Peshmerga/Iraqi Kurds- Hyper-rich schoolgirl who inherited her father's oil money. Half-sister to Rojava-chan. Has a strong independent streak.
Free Syria Army- Everybody talks about her, but nobody's seen her for ages. Some wonder if she still exists.
Army of Conquest- The girl who killed FSA-chan. Nasty fanatic, thinks everything is haram. Nobody really likes her but the adults keep giving her money anyway.
Al-Qaeda- Tired girl who used to be a big bully but now nodoby cares about her. Angry at being neglected, she's desperate for attention and plotting her next big thing.
Iraqi Army- Confused, clumy, loli. So incompetant she's moe.
Hizbollah- Iran's daughter. Very serious and disciplined. Hates Jews with a passion.
Shia PMC/Hasht al-Sha'abi- Literally Iran's pet dog
ISIS- Basically ISIS-chan- Capable of great violence but also enjoys fishing, melons, and nasheeds.

1/2

So Kebab Hetalia?

External:
USA- Confused woman who doesn't want to get involved and periodically throws money at random angry lolis. Has a yuri relationship with Israel.
Russia- Scarred, scheming milf desperate to regain her former glory. Basically Balalaika.
Iran- Hyper-religious woman who acts like a fanatic, but is also very calculating. Has a secret science project in her basement she won't let anyone see. Arch-enemy of Saudi-chan and old rival with Turkey. Really hates Israel.
Saudis- Myterious woman in abaya. Starts out with a web of secret contacts, gets more violent and unstable as the story progresses. Constantly trying to rally everyone else against Iran-chan.
Qatar- Sexy young journalist woman who pretends to cozy up to modern Westerners but secretly funds jihadists. Very scheming. Never trust her.
Israel- Even more scheming than Qatar, but presently distracted trying to get rid of a pest infestation tunneling under her house.
Turkey- Older-than-she-looks woman who wants to bring back her glory days. Acts Western but her heart isn't in it. Slightly schizoid. Has fanatic hatred of Rojava-chan.
France- Pudgy, hapless woman who gets attacked by Isis-chan.
Germany- hapless, naive, drindle-wearing milf who tries to do the right thing and gets conned and manipulated by Turkey
Sweden- Tall, blonde-haired, blue-eyed cake who secretly lusts for brown lolis

>not wanting a variety of exotic waifus from three different continents

Are you a s*rb? How about an anime of the Yugoslav wars?

-Croatia-chan pretends to be Western but is actually a closet Nazi, talks about her Aryan roots all the time, and collects bladed weapons.
-Serbia-chan is hardcore /k/ebab-remover, plays accordion in her spare time, is terrible at making friends and thinks everyone is out to get her
-Slovenia-chan is wealthy and very aloof, doesn't visit her sisters often and looks down on them, has a chursh on Austria-kun
-Montenegro-chan is very secretive and tsundere toward Serbia-chan, supposedly has an ancient treasure stashed away but is in fact very poor
-Kosovo-chan is whiny and annoying imouto-type [not blood-related to the others]; everybody else hates her.
-Macedonia-chan is a chuuni Bulgarian who thinks she's an ancient Greek warrior. She has a broken-down bicycle called Bucephalus
-Bosnia-chan is a schizophrenic mess

Is Sweden actually that much of a cuck?

We already have Axis powers hetalia faggot We don't need more cancer like that.

>Older-than-she-looks woman who wants to bring back her glory days
Dirty goat fucker detected Ottoman empire have no relation to Turkey whatsoever, you're just a cancer that grow after empire died.

That's what Sup Forums tells me. They wouldn't lie, would they?

You tell me user

You are being deceived

>1945
>Russians invading Berlin
>Germans are elves

Watch Spartacus (the showtime one), and tell me that shit's not close enough.

>buncha boy fuckers in skirts pretending to be the greatest empire ever to exist
Step outta the way, faggots.

>Every Elf women in the city being gang raped by Russians and being forced to bear a generation of half-elves.
Normally this would disgust me, but Elves are made for rape.

-WWII, with detail to air/tank warfare (Not that Girls und panzer shit)
-Rome
-Spanish Empire/The Americas before the colonization
I would accept literally any historical anime as long as it isn't some retarded moeshit clusterfuck. So nothing.

I'd like to see the illiad tbqhwu senpai

>somewhere out there an user gets to rub it to elven rape because his great grandmother got Kalashnikov'd
Russia is life.

>No anime about cute Alexanders doing cute conqueror things

Fucking old Sumeria baby

Greece was much more interesting. Hell, the Greek iteration of Rome was more interesting than the original

Rome became so great that the people became soft. That's what happens to every great empire, it's happening to the United States, right now.

I hope you mean the Umayyad Caliphate of Cordoba

First thing I thought of when I read this thread. Kinda regret never picking up the English editions that were available on the local comic shop before it closed down.

It would appear that you haven't watched Fate/Zero.

The Nips should stick to their own country. Meiji and Taisho periods are pretty cool. Every time they venture West they come up with the most retarded inaccurate bullshit, even from places like WW2 Europe (one of the periods most commonly depicted in other media), so I'd rather they don't ruin stuff they obviously know shit about. They could pick shit straight out of a history book or rip a public domain novel word by word, but you can bet they'd still butcher it somehow, the same way the West does retarded shit every time they try to do Japan (see Shogun, The Last Samurai, etc.) It can't be helped.

t. historyfag

Persia anime when?

>United States.

You mean western civilization in general?

The main problem with the US is the elites despise the public and are constantly trying to undermine them

Civil War told from a pro-Confederate standpoint.

WW2 in the pacific.

Neither of you know anything about history. Stop pretending that you do.

That's not Great Britain!
The Sun never sets on the British Empire!

>tfw no homoerotic Spartacus anime featuring /ss/

You do remember that the first 's' in /ss/ means 'straight' right?

Gunslingers vs Samurai in the wild wild west.

no homo

Spartacus did have /ss/

>implying Rome didn't fall apart due to weakness and degeneracy

>What history period would you like to see in anime Sup Forums?
Peloponnesian War, adapted from Thucydides' book.

A russian geek time-travels to 1933 USSR and tries to minimize the damage caused by WWII.
Introduces most efficient combat vehicles, weaponry and munition concepts, points to the location of oil, coal and gas in Syberia (no reason to sacrificing millions for Stalingrad now), speeds up nuclear program by sharing commonly known concepts, convinces Stalin that Hitler WILL attack on June 22 1941 before dealing with England etc.
Earns enough credit and respect to replace Stalin as general secretary after his retirement (or death), sways USSR away from military-oriented course developing civilian and light industries instead, stay friends with China by never taking Stalin's body out of Mausoleum.
As average education and intelligence level rises in the population rises - slowly hand over the responsibility over state affairs from party back to the people.

I like this

>wanting harem anime

More like UmaAyyLmaod

Slice of life 1965 USSR.

Just for the uniqueness of it.

Yasuhiko Yoshikazu is pretty good, though. Nothing wrong with adapting from another countries' past. I wouldn't mind a grave error or inaccuracy in a dramatized fictional work of art as long as even if its errors/failures are interesting in any forms of way. The films you listed, while entertaining, honestly isn't about foreign people doing shit. Plenty of western history films (Kingdom of Heaven) made by western people are for entertainment and 'feel good' purposes too. Contrast it with Yoshikazu's Nero, for example, which demands the reader to take it seriously, or even presumes its reader to know prior knowledge of him.

After all, history is full of biases, forgeries, and fictions. Especially pre-modern ones.

1630s Dutch tulip market.
I don't know what this would look like but it would be neat, and suspenseful.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw_Pact_invasion_of_Czechoslovakia
A slice of life in this time period would be interesting. I keep hearing European oldfags saying that it's the end of 'socialism with human face' etc etc, or whatever its meaning is.

Early USSR would pretty funny too. At one time they tried to abolish military hierarchy and their army organization immediately broke. They also abolished like almost all laws from the Tsarist regime and literally had to start from zero and its subsequent chaos. I read some funny shit like that on /his/.

>a bunch of autistic barbarians on loincloth
You mean a horde of warrior-caste who learned roman tactics by fighting for them for years on end?

I need a good DDR anime.
Not sure whether Ulbricht or Honecker era would be more interesting. The latter would have lots of MfS spookiness.
A fictional DDR/BRD war would be awesome to see depicted.

Thirty years war, definitely.

Never said there wouldn't be exceptions.
But look at Kuroshitsuji, F/SN, Dantalian no Shoka, Gosick, Izetta, 91 days, Jormungand, Night Raid, etc., etc. I'm not going to sperg over those settings being unrealistic or inaccurate. It's just that I'm more used to other media where the creators put a lot of effort in documenting themselves, a task usually carried forth for years on end, unlike many Nip hacks that use the whole generic Europe setting as a cheap shortcut for making their world-building slightly more unique. They don't even mind making up stupid countries, which is laughable imo.

>Night Raid
Not exactly foreign history there. I do agree with you on the rest though.

Knightly tournaments of the late 15th - early 16th century. Kinda like Walkure Romanze but historically accurate, except for having cute girls compete of course.

fuck, armors are so cool

youtube.com/watch?v=GCEfrgAVK7U

It felt apart because of it's expansion policy. Romans couldn't administrate all the territory they conquered and these became easy picking for the barbarians.
Romans understood it and that was the reason why they split the empire in an eastern and a western part.

Which makes sense, if you think about it rationally.

A Napoleon anime would be pretty sweet desu

I understand your point.
>unlike many Nip hacks that use the whole generic Europe setting as a cheap shortcut for making their world-building slightly more unique.
The generic fantasy medieval Europe is like that too. I'm not sure why they think it's unique or anything. Maybe not. I do vaguely remember that historical misconceptions of their own history were also apparent in anime manga. There's also a bunch of Not-Japanese fictional countries in light novels, I think.

That's one horrified looking horse.

based

why is Isaac Newton wearing that uniform and wielding a saber?

Reminder that the romans lasted for about 1000 years. A 1000 fucking years if we don't count ERE. That's a lot of fucking time.

Because its an Isekai fantasy where he become the Emperor of Britannia using the power of P H Y S I C S
