Privilege
*blank*explaining

Hatespeech

Basically anything used to shut down serious debate. It's the most childish form of head in the sand censorship, and any sort of formal enforcement is ironically the first step on the slippery slope to real fascism.

Yass
Slay

When I see these words I have a visceral rage-based reaction, regardless of context.

It's like, I don't know if everyone gets this, but I always used to use my phone as my alarm to wake me up in the morning, and I had a phone where you couldn't turn off the vibration, so whenever I'm watching a show or film and there's the sound of a phone vibrating on a hard surface it just evokes this raw revulsion in me, because of the association with having to get up in the morning. It's the same kind of deal.

I've actually never heard anyone say YASSSS in real life before, I don't know what I'll do if it happens.

>POC/People of color

It's literally the same fucking thing as saying colored people. What the fuck nigger?

>>POC/People of color

and that implies that white people are in one group and the rest of the world is in another group, as if races and ethnicities all over the world don't hate and kill each other far more than modern white people do.

That's about as racist as you can get, which reminds me of the other pure bullshit, that only only whites can be racist.

People of Color is the worst.
It's just a rehash of the discriminatory 'colored people' of years ago, and worse; it's a way to lump all non-whites together against whites.

It's actually a very powerful little phrase.

>YASSS SLAYYY QUEEN
What the fuck is that even supposed to mean? Where did it come from? fucking hell

Favorite, and least favorite, would literally be the word racist. What i mean by that is this single word literally shut down anyone who regarded whites as superior, culturally, genetically etc. And i respect it in a sense that it was able to more or less nurture western nation in that sense. Literally all with the strike of one word. But again i hate it because it just shuts down the opponent without actually getting in depth as to why saying why black ppl are inferior, or just simply bringing up how they didn't even have the wheel when we showed is racist.

"Essentializing". Yeah I have no clue what it means either. Was said in my anthropology class. (needs more skull measuring).

Forgot to add that these are, by far, my least favorite.

Fucking auto correct rip.

Systemic
Born that way

>problematic
Literally used any time someone says something they disagree with. It is designed to gaslight anyone with opinions deemed controversial, thus in their mind making the argument incorrect. It's basic group think at its finest.

>Ally

I always find it uncomfortable the way they use the word "bodies".
Like
>"oppression of queer/black/brown/whatever bodies"
It's just bizarre sounding.
What do they mean? Do they mean masses of people? Are they referring to the individuals in a creepy gender neutral sense?

Beyonce fans. Whenever Beyonce's marketing team would come up with some witty zinger her fans would respond with YAAAAAS QUEEN SLAYYYYYY.

I personally don't get it, but then I don't get why people enjoy poor quality pop music "sang" by a woman who literally bleachers her own skin.

Gassssssss

It was a meme started by some fag that followed Gaga around to whatever hotel she was staying at. Some kid always said 'yasss Gaga you look so good, yasss' in a zombie monotone voice and it gained traction from there

>our community

Heteronormative, cisgender, cishet and other words like that. I find these especially infuriating because unlike every other word they use like transphobic and misogynistic and homophobic, these words directly try to make the standard appear as non-standard. Like being normal is something different than the norm. It's the most post-modernist bullshit I've ever seen, and one of the best ways you can tell what their agenda is: breaking all traditions, make you question what is regular and normal in every day life, and making the system that has kept civilization together for so long into "just another option".

For context

Shea butter twitter. Where "woke" black feminists and gay black men congregate. Very analogous to soy boys and Anita Sarkessian/ Brianna Wu types.

Phrases such as
>"I can't "
>"literally shaking"
>"so, yeah"
>"well that's a thing"
....& none of it would be AS bad if they didn't sound like absolutely retarded stoners saying them; statements spoken with the same inflection as a question, "like" thrown in, like every other, you know, like word, you know, like, & that crackling fucking "vocal fry" that they try to pretend is natural but they're all so fucking proud of.

right side of history

Similar to this, is the insistence of saying 'people' after mentioning the race of someone.

A few months ago I said something like 'blacks and whites were getting along just fine in 2007', evidently triggering one of the 19 year old interns. 'Don't you mean black PEOPLE?' she states loudly, never mentioning that I also described whites in the same manner. I just looked at her and walked away.

The generation just turning 18 now is absolutely fucked.

"institutional racism" because it means that when blacks fail at something it's still somebody else's fault

mcmansion

when i hear that i just picture some jew professor in california

>t. Lucifer

It comes from the Neo-Gnostic beliefs inherent to Modernity. If you want to get technical it traces from modern Leftism to evangelical Protestant Christianity from Medieval Catholicism and ultimately coming from early Christianity's dabbling in Platonism. In short, you aren't your body you are a unique soul piloting your body. Your body is a meaningless meat-sack, the cover to your book. It means nothing about you, what matters is your soul.

This is, of course, completely wrong. Your liver has just as much say in what you do and think as your brain and if you suffer a severe head injury "you" change completely. See Phineas Gage. Back in the olden days they'd drill a hole in a rock, fill it with gun powder, then take a steel spike and push the gunpowder into the hole to compact it. If you scraped the rock's side, a spark would ignite the powder and blow the rod into your head. Phinease Gage survived this and it totally changed him (as one would expect having a fucking metal rod blasted through your head would do).

The Buddha, Laozi, and Confucius were right, Plato was wrong. The West will never been free until we realize this.

earthborn

cause mankind is mansplaining

>a woman who literally bleachers her own skin.

and that's another one: blacks trying to look white is fine, but a white with dreads is committing some kind of huge cultural appropriation crime, not to mention that blacks wanting to look white is about as racist against blacks as it gets.

Institutional racism is a catch all phrase to explain every disparity, as if every disparity is caused by an oppressive external force rather than a malicious internal one.

>"institutional racism"

that one is often paired up with "mass incarceration", which is never paired up with "mass criminal behavior".

All of this and "world view".

Also people of colour annoys me because they're just shades of black with isn't even a colour. Black hair, black eyes black everything... How's that "colourful".

Those guys look like a crew of Dragonball villians

>sweetie

dumbest meme of 2017

i wish the word "folks" would die a horrible death...

Ahh yes, the post modernist theory where everything is a subjective experience and there is no objective reality. There is a reason social sciences in academia today are memed to all hell.

I hate all of the shit in this thread plus

>[really passive aggressive or snarky comment against whites], Karen.

Bullshit.

Well they are disgusting degenerates so of course they would be awful.

Virtue signaling

>>Jesus would have used it when talking about praying on the street corner so everyone can see you

How does that story not contribute to that sort of thinking? If a blow to the brain changes you, that means you are the brain.

I have literally never seen or heard this anywhere but Sup Forums.

No, it means the brain is a part of you.

The (Neo-)Gnostic way of thinking is that you are a meat-machine being piloted by a disembodied spirit. The brain, ultimately, is just a pink switch board with no actual usage in thought. The Left sees damage, disability, or abnormality in the brain as perfectly fine because it's not really bad, it's just a respresentation of your soul. Born with a cock, a Y chromosome, six feet tall and sporting facial hair? Well your spirit is ACTUALLY a five foot tall pansexual demiromatic womyn of colour and your body is wrong.

This extends to everything from autism to tattoos to fashion: It's just a representation of your soul applied to the physical world. This disdain for crude matter even goes further into the belief in reality being subjective: We cannot trust the crude matter that is our eyes to properly report to our souls. What matters is experience and feeling (which comes from the soul) not "facts" which come from the physical world.

Twitter is filled with this.

>In short, you aren't your body you are a unique soul piloting your body. Your body is a meaningless meat-sack, the cover to your book. It means nothing about you, what matters is your soul.
Nothing in Catholicism teaches this. They see an individual is comprised of it's body and soul, both equally important. Tone down the fedoracore, tou don't know what you're talking about.

Enjoy

The whole game is set up to shit on white people.
>black woman bleaches her skin
>"Shes conforming to white beauty standards because RACIST WHITES wouldn't accept ger otherwise!"
>white girl has dreadlocks
>"I can't believe these RACIST WHITES think it's okay to just steal from other cultures!"

I thought there were no lefty words that could trigger my rage until I came to this thread.

Fuck you newfag gaslighting is an old term. Older than the term brainwashing, which is essentially what gaslighting is

The opposing view to this, however, is that there is no "soul" of "you". "You" are a conglomerate of phenomenon, habits, thoughts, matter, and past interactions with other phenomenon, habits, thoughts, and matter. The Buddhists take this a step further and believe that the recognition of the fact that there isn't a distinct "you" (and mental conditioning to truly come to grips with this fact) is what leads to happiness. Taoism deals with this too.

Under this view experience and feelings are also important, but only in the context of the wider conglomerate that is "you". The (Neo-)Gnostic view sees the soul as unchanging and permanent. Any difference over time is merely the soul "discovering" itself. The view I put forth says that's a crock of shit: "You" are constantly changing and are the sum of your thoughts and feelings (and the interactions with others).

The Left would have it told that Gage wasn't changed at all when he was hit by the rod, that he merely became an asshole later in life of his own volition. The view I put forth says that the experience fundamentally changed "Phineas Gage" by altering what made him up.

No, you have no idea what you're talking about. Where do you think ideas come from? What do you think came before that? And before that? Do you suppose that Catholicism exists in a vacuum and never interacted with anything and never influenced anyone?

Name my band;
Three faggots and a faggot.

No, the left sees this things as normal because they believe all power dynamics are evil. Why do you think they take the side of the "weak" rather than the morally righteous? To them, these two concepts are one in the same, and they are absolutely different. To challenge the ideas of a minority is always going to be seen as a sly way to challenge their existence, after all, you're the one with the power, white man. That's why there is a mass justification of violence and censorship of speech, because to them, to challenge the ideas of someone in their group is to challenge their right to live (or live without oppression). If you understand this, it makes perfect sense why leftists exhibit violence like they do; they really think you're challenging their existence.

Gnosticism and Catholicism only really have an ideological ancestor in common. Calling it 'neo-gnosticism' is just the other poster drawing a comparison between modern liberal conceptions and the classical gnostic belief it sort of resembles.

You're completely right about their view of minorities, but where does that view come from? Why do you they see "weakness" as "righteousness"? Why do they think that you can somehow be completely defined by yet completely detached from the characteristics that describe you? How can a White coal miner be more "privileged" than a Black billionaire? How does a White six year old "oppress" a 6'4'' Black man? From what I am describing.

micro agressions

Latinx.

I feel embarrassed just reading it, and I'm not even a spic.

cis-gender...That's not who we are....gentrification...white flight...bae...Here's why that matters...

They view weakness as righteousness because, in their minds, the only they're weak or oppressed is because an external force inflicted in them.
Ex: Black people commit violent crime at a per capital rate much higher than whites.
Answer: Because poverty and racist policing.
Ex: Gays have much higher rates if STD
Answer: Because homophobic policies.

Notice the lack of agency in these answers. They are mere victims bigoted policies, and hence anything bad happening to thing is viewed as oppression. When you view every disparity as a function of bigotry, it makes perfect sense why violence is justified. In their eyes, the reason blacks don't have proportional representation(and hence, power), is because evil Whitney is stomping his boot on their neck.

They might not necessarily view that black man as more oppressed than the white man, but they would say in any situation where all other factors are roughly equal, being black is always worse.
As far as the child is concerned, they view that child as a threat because he will grow up and represent "bigoted " norms. He will always have the capacity (in their eyes) to have power over that black man on an institutional level even if he doesn't on an individual one.

Excuse the typos on that.

>Wow, just wow

whataboutism

at least it's not latin@

Income Inequality

If you even USE this term or allow someone else to use it, you've given up enough ground to tolerate socialism or communism.

Also """Tolerance""".

Latinx it's funny how much normie spics HATE this word.

anything prefaced by gender; Cisgender, etc.
