Bernard jou iwaku

I know that less than half of you are watching this anime.

Bernard is so right that it hurts.

...

Isn't that a good thing?

I'm watching, KitaEri has a comeback this year

Time for that smug.

...

>Ruri
Fucking tripfag piece of shit cancerous attention whore, kill yourself.

I don't really know why I'm watching this

...

Watching this and it's a nice short little anime. Definitely helped by the length. 20+ minutes a week of this would be way too much.

This series hits way too close home sometimes.
Also
>Sister Karamazov
Who the fuck came up with that shit

This smug little bitch.

I'm watching.

...

This.

I want to befriend Sawako.

Prime bullying material, too smug for her own good.

She can't keep getting away with it.

looks cute, a SoL I presume ?

Short weekly anime about a girl who likes books but not really reading them so she pretends that she has and is really snotty about it. Her friends are all actual readers and basically call her out on her bullshit each ep

It's about being /lit/ and the pain it involves.

Why not? I can get away with pretending I've read books plenty as long as I have a general idea what it's about. Cliffnotes is how I got through high school.

Not sure why I'm watching this because I don't even read books but I'm enjoying it a lot so far.

same, want to read more but haven't had proper motivation for years

Has the Fermat's Last Theorem episode aired yet? I read that on the synopsis and it's the only one I'm interested in.

kill urself fagoot

Reading subtitles is a subset of proper reading.

More like wannabe /lit/

This episode was a massive disappointment. Who cares about the two meganeless sitting at a cafe when we could've seen Sumika making sweet, sweet rape to Endou?

But those two girls are the best characters.

so /lit/

/lit/erally /lit/

I want to fuck/rape both of them.

i want to rape you

Why is Sawako so perfect, is it the smugness? I want to cuddle with her and read all day.

I can't believe I'm getting /lit/ recommendations out of a Chinese Cartoon, Star Maker is some dope shit. Does the author actually read everything mentioned?

I can tell Shiori's science fiction rants are pretty on point, since that's my favorite genre.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's at least read those. I'm currently blasting through her recommendations, about to get into either Permutation City or Diaspora and goddamn she recommends god-tier stuff.

Do they ever touch on post modernism or surrealism in the manga? I wonder if Pynchon or Kobo Abe will get a name drop.

This show is like Black Books all over again

Funniest short airing next to Saiki

What books and authors have been mentioned so far?

Is there a list of all the books mentioned in the series?

Somebody needs to make one. I wanna get into sci-fi.

inb4 if you read anything by Arthur C. Clarke made it Rendezvous and not Space Odyssey, the movie is better than the first book already, and the other 3 are shit

I'd give her Dhalgren

Holmes nerd wants it badly. Like jizz everywhere.

Shiori a cute.

This girl looks more like Shiori from the manga though.

I'd give Sawako the D, I bet the Sherlockian is a freak in bed though.

I want to rape rape (you).

EVERY FUCKING DAY
EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY
THIS LITTLE IDIOT JUST SITS ON THE LIBRARY AND GIVE ME THIS STUPID FUCKING LOOK ON HER FACE AND NOT READING ANYTHING.

Why there isnt english dogra magra translation?
its been like 70 years since book release

Kinda weird KitaEri voice, but sometimes she slips into that familiar voice

Also I want to fuck Shiori

I'd set you up with Shiori if you give me Sawako, deal?

...

Trying to find summaries so far but only episode 1 and 2 are covered by this one blog.

Seems someone was doing it over the course of a year or two via a Wordpress blog and got rather far but they are currently on hiatus. Just search Dogramagra translation.

Ah, scratch that. They were just doing a bit by bit and it only amounted to a few pages over a few years. Perhaps they will start it up again though...

I couldn't watch this.
How do you do it?

It's just three minutes of weebs being weeby, just about books.

Episode 3:
Haruki Murakami works in general including works he translated
Sherlock Holmes' War of the Worlds - Manly Wade Wellman
War of the Worlds - H.G. Wells
The Lost World - Conan Doyle

Episode 4:
A Study in Scarlet - Conan Doyle (also 'The Sign of the Four' -> 'The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' -> 'The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes' -> 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' -> 'The Return of Sherlock Holmes' -> 'The Valley of Fear' ->...)
Guns, Germs, and Steel - Jared Diamond
The Life of Kafka - Ikeuchi Osamu
Inherit the Stars - James P. Hogan

Episode 5:
Dogra Magra (again) - Yumeno Kyuusaku
Black Death Hall Murders - Oguri Mushitarou
An Offering to Nothingness - Nakai Hideo
In Search of Lost Time - Marcel Proust
Summers' Sad Bad Jokes / さまぁ~ずの悲しいダジャレ - Summers (owarai comedy duo, compilation of bad jokes)

Episode 6:
The Martian - Andy Weir
The Sister Karamazov - Takano Fumio (apparently translated as Shio in CR subs)

I got the rest of the books so far but there's one I can't identify in episode 6 from the back cover.

>not parroting Bloom at the very least

Disgraceful.

Other than shorts, I haven't actually read anything by Clarke. Are the other 3 that bad?

Replace all instances of book with manga and movie with anime in your mind.
There. Sup Forums the anime.

I read Hothouse because of this show.
