Three Days of Happiness

Dumping chapter 1 and 2 (that's all that's available right now). And then dumping chapter 4 of Azure and Claude (pretty late though).
So today I have Three Days of Happiness/I Sold Off My Lifespan, For 10,000 Yen A Year, manga goes by the latter name but, like, why?
It's based on the Three Days of Happiness novel by Sugaru Miaki (still criminally underrated). Read his novels (can find them here: vgperson.com/other/misctranslations.htm PDFs also there if you follow the links).

Desustorage for Azure and Claude Chapter 1-3: desuarchive.org/a/thread/147584941

Synopsis:
A man strapped for cash finds out about a store where he can sell his lifespan. After selling it in desperation, he comes to learn the value of life.
Except not really. Maybe.
>At least here in “Three Days of Happiness,” though it would seem I
used the story to speak about the value of life, the power of love
and whatnot... to be honest, that was not my intention in the least.

I think this only happens later in the novels, but it's a good way to start.

MC doesn't look quite like how I pictured him, expected someone older-looking (though he's 20).

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

You're selling your hobby, at that point, it's time to go, no?

...

...

...

Unless they sell it, doubt it'd do the old man any good.

tfw poor
Can't even look a vending machine in the price tag.

...

...

...

He's still working at a CD store... couldn't have been that much.

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

And that's the first chapter.
Not exactly how I pictured her but it's close enough.

So he thinks they're directing him to the yakuza or the like.

...

I thought that too but that's not exactly shortening his life, more like just ending it completely. So maybe he was thinking some sort of research facility, which could make you live less or something.

That's a lot of money, well, for me. We make little here.

...

...

...

...

...

...

Go MC, free breadcrumbs!

...

...

Foreshadowing!
Those who read the novel will probably notice.

...

Title kinda spoiled this already, didn't it?

...

...

...

...

T-too real, back off please. ;_;

...

...

Cheap. And he would only live up to 50, that's young.

Later they explain what'd happen to him too. And while that's cheap, there's a twist later on about that too.

She's practically driving him into suicide.

...

...

...

Who could it be?

Now she looks really different here. Should have gone for the bub cut to be honest (I also think that's how the novel describes her).

...

Don't remember the knee injury.

And that's chapter 2.

Honestly this ended up being my favorite novel of his and this adaptation is pretty nice, looking forward to more.
If you want you can keep an eye out for new chapters in the scanlator's site here: vgperson.com/other/mangaviewer.php?m=3

Azure and Claude chapter 4 in a bit.

Thanks for dumping.

does bit the bullet tho?

Went for a snack and broke a glass, oops.

Here's chapter 4.

Missing a few words there.

english not so good after a bottle of vodka sorry

...

If you're asking if he dies.
Even at the end, it's not confirmed if he actually died or if this was all a ruse and he never lost any time.

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

First you fatten them up, then...

...

...

What a guy.

...

...

And that's chapter 4 of Azure and Claude.

Hope you liked it and see you next time.
