Im very illiterate with GIMP, so could sonebody give me a basic rundown on how to make this sort of image compilations turn out good?
What I do is crop the image and paste it over but it always goes over the borders.
You gotta download the template, copy pasting will make the transparent parts black
After that, paste the picture you want and do Ctrl+L to see the layers of the project
You should see something called "Floating Selection"
Right click on that layer and click "To New Layer"
Then put that layer below the template's layer and it will go behind the template except for the parts that are transparent
