>When I was 13 my school, a Muslim faith school, was advised by the police to close for three days after 9/11 because they feared the students would be at risk and that the school buildingmight be attacked. The sharp increase in hate crimes and attacks in particular on visibly Muslim girls and women indicated that this was a very real risk. But as a child it was very difficult to understand why people would associate a group of schoolchildren with these far-removed global events.

Islam isn't a race. The main issue is that Arabs have no racial identity because the Jews hijacked it after WW2. Arabs are Semitic people just like Jews but the entire ethnic group is only allowed to be Jews.
Islam will never be a race. You can dislike a religion and you certainly can associate radical Islam with other sections of it, especially if you have to pray 3 times a day in public, wear a veil and only stick to an ethnic enclave. Especially if that ethnicity is not native to those lands and the land which your religion attacked is the land you have decided to settle in.
While you hide in your Islamic schools, learning classes in arabic, forcing your women into servitude and Isolating yourself entirely from the land which you are occupying. The culture which you ignore will grow tired of your shit and see through your games. Jews can have Israel, even the whole middle east and they have already stolen your racial identity. Where as everyone else will get sick of your shit and they will do so quickly.

In the US, it is simple: US constitution directly conflicts with the Koran.
What is a devout Muslim to do, living in the US? Luckily for such a true worshiper, they have paths provided to them by their religion so that they can remain faithful while "forced" by living in a non-believing country.
The goal of any devout followers should be bringing wherever they live to follow the scriptures and ways that their religion illuminates. In the case of Muslims and the US, that means the US will have to change its constitution or be replaced.
Just a matter of which way of life survives. I'm betting in the long term, Islam wins, because the US is an open society, and in time, once enough devout Muslims live in it, they can start changing its laws and constitution to be inline with the Koran.
I don't worry about my Muslim neighbors being terrorists or Jihadists who are plotting to blow up the nuclear power plant that's just a few miles down the road. I worry that their great grandkids will change the constitution such that my great granddaughters will no longer be equal to man in court.
