It was a fun trainwreck but holy shit the ending was bittersweet.
The scene at the end where he's holding Inori and the music started actually had me tear up, same for the epilogue.
Now that I think about it the major trainwrecks that Sup Forums has followed all have pretty bad ends for their MCs (Code geass,Aldnoah,Valvrave,Seed Destiny)

Geass only felt like a trainwreck at times. Finished with a pretty good end even if you don't think the MC is alive, which he could be.
