Yes. Especially when you get these type of scenes where they're showing off futuristic landscapes, ships and technology with the bleeps and bloops attached. These are usually accompanied by a musical queue that helps resonate how different everything feels. Now it doesn't need to be some Oshii-esque montage of the sci-fi landscapes that he inserts in his work, but a simple detailing of world around the characters is enough.
Whenever I see this kind of awesome stuff it entrances me. You ever get that really nice feeling in the pit of chest or gut? Enough to make you forget about things bothering you, makes you feel nice or excited about something, dunno what.
