BD version of anything is always prefferable, especially in KyoAni case since they master their shows in higher resolution than airing on tv.
That said i watched BD, since dropped anime when it aired and only repicked recently when BD were already out.
That said, Hyouka AND Hibike S1 are a must watch in BD quality both for visuals and sound (espeecially Hibike for sound)
