So the plot is actually going to start happening this episode then and Senpai is actually kind of the turning point of the entire series although I think she will be an instrument to demonstrate Pure Illusion is dangerous as much as anything else rather than important in herself.

The plot has been happening the entire time. Although you're probably right about Senpai, I still hope she takes a more active role now.

No I mean really happening. So far it has been quite episodic with a focus on character development and some world building with the plot moving forward rather slowly and mostly as a way of linking the episodes and bits of exposition here and there.

Could be anywhere from just socialising more and not interested in art, to being an obnoxious shallow brat.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it's all just layers of PI, and the "real world" is just a shallow layer of it.

Sort of like when you dream of being in a familiar place and there's enough about it to recognize as a familiar place but it's still not quite a perfect representation of that place.

I bet the goal of Flip Flap is to escape, and the goal of Asclepius is to maintain control of whatever this multilayered phenomenological theater is supposed to be.
