loli is legal in Saudi Arabia

According to wiki.

US is red because US interprets simulated child porn in all its parts. Simulate, child, pornography. Even if you're not found guilty on such, you can still be charged with obscenity. Case: recent example of man being charged with posession of "incest comics"

In some of those red countries, even if its textual only, if its obscene or contains child porn, real or otherwise, you will be imprisoned.

Why is child porn illegal?

Read up, this thread isn't about CP, but illegality of hentai/drawn porn.

What are green and black?

what does white and green mean? green is confirmed legal?

Green?

>According to wiki.

Which particular wiki? Do you mean Wikipedia, which is one of many different wikis?

White = no data
Green = legal
Black = too vague
Red = no go

Ofcourse given the times, the law can change at any moment to suit a political player's needs.
Wikipedia

lolis are illegal in shitty countries.

>Green = legal
I'm Italian so that's great news. Thanks Pope Francis.

>be in germany
>14yo are legal (Age of consent)

protip: in brazil it might be, but I've only seem one guy get in trouble for it, and he was as weeb as they come, had a shit ton of physical media and a body pillow I think

14 is too old. you granny fucker.

SarĂ  anche legale ma sei comunque un pedofilo.

It's not technically legal in Sweden though.

>Virtual child pornography is punished with up to a third of the sanctions for real-life child pornography. Virtual images include images, or parts of images, produced and modified with software from actual photos of minors, where the quality makes it so that fake situations are manipulated to appear realistic. Therefore, lolicon, shotacon, and cartoon pornography in general are not included.
Makes sense.

>go to canada as American
>bring your laptop with Nanoha doujins
>get arrested for child porn and imprisoned for a year

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_status_of_cartoon_pornography_depicting_minors#Sweden
>They decided that the images were not realistic and could not be mistaken for real children
hentai probably wont be illegal unless its super realistic

>the Gunslinger Girl manga was never published in its entirety over here
It hurts. Also, if law says I'm not a pedo , then I'm not.

>One picture was still considered realistic enough to be defined as child pornography according to Swedish law. However, his possession of it was considered defensible through his occupation as a professional expert of Japanese culture, particularly manga.[45]

what is that thing just above france, catalonia?

>professional expert of Japanese culture, particularly manga
HAHAHAHAHAHHAAH

Luckily for the guy, he didn't have to unsheathe his katana.

Law doesn't say you aren't a pedo. Being a pedo itself is not illegal.

He was an actual Japanese translator for Bonnier.

Heh, in Brazil it really is not hard to get away with it if it's a teen. It's not uncommon to see a 14 yo dating a 20 yo here.

>his secret is out in the open
that must fucking suck. how did they even know in the first place? how did he get caught?

Its Belgium, but I was supposed to mark Netherlands, the one above Belgium.

Getting away is not same as legality.

That's fine and dandy then.

...

loli is illegal in every country on the planet pretty much, those who say otherwise are lying, I would never feel completely safe owning loli. There are some countries/provinces/states where it's less illegal, but people that think it's completely legal anywhere are fooling themselves.

This is not the time and place to be a retard. Go be retard in this > thread.

Butthurt lolicon without any freedom in his puritan shithole detected.

I think there was some disagreement on the custody of his daughter and he was reported to the police for child molestation and got raided.

>can't even bond with your own daughter
what a fucked up world we live in

Loli was a legal mess in Germany the last time I checked since there hasn't been a case about it here.

It depends on how someone interprets the word "a reality-near depiction of a

>child porn writings
what?

Great day to be a pastaman.

It's officially legal in Spain.

Stories that sexualize children.

It's been years since I read about this so I may be off.

Not legal, just not illegal. There is a billion mile difference between the two.

Ignoring that difference can land you in jail.

Lolis are pedophilia bait, if it's legal where you are then you're a degenerate child fucker and deserve to be castrated.

Kys,srsly

Legal literally means not illegal

>illegal in US

Wrong. Drawings are 100% legal in the USA, under certain restrictions. You cannot have said drawings be based on real life events/people or have said drawings be so "realistic" that you cannot tell the difference between them and reality.

To be more specific however, each State has its own governing laws in regards to the subject. HOWEVER, if you were to appeal to a Federal level, such charges would be thrown out (the Supreme Court ruled it as being fine, with the above exceptions). Still, you'd get a lot of shit for it from the public.

people get off to writings? got any examples?

Legal is the law of the land. Illegal is going against the law.

The in between is what's not written. Assuming such things in such a folly when the fine prints can land you in jail in an instant.

Child pornography is both a federal crime and a state crime.

Virtualized is the subsect of it.

Also, even if you're not held liable for child porn, there's obscenity, incest, etc charges. If you've done any previous crimes, there is also mandatory time that you must do, even if its just a simple nanoha doujin being labeled as obscene. So that's 20 years for you.

The law can be used to do the most wrong when done by a competent, vengeful, or self-righteous person.

Seems like there was at least one case and the judge explicitly stated drawings/fiction to not be illegal.

The actual paragraph in the StGB isn't making it as clear though.

I think it's just a direct translation of "pornographische Schrift" which is defined in the StGB as pictures, text, videos etc

Obviously CP is illegal. Stuff like loli doujins are not illegal though. Like I said, you can run into trouble from getting busted for shipping stuff on a State level, but the Federal level protects you from such "laws".

If we're talking about all the stuff you'd see on sad panda, there's absolutely nothing illegal about viewing that in the USA. Purchasing it and having it shipped to your house depends on the State you live in (as listed in the previous chart).

>he doesn't get off to writings

asstr org/~Kristen/inc/index1.htm

purchasing/shipping runs under federal highway traffic law.

Also, internet could theoretically be seen under such if it cross the borders, it goes through federal "highways", thus could still be subject to some readings. Overall, US laws can be applicable do large variety of things, it all depends on the mood/climate of the people on whether or not they want to pursue you. The illegality is already set in stone when they have obscene laws that can be used on anything

>not reading smut

There is zero precedent for everything you're stating, especially when the Supreme Court has set the opposite precedent (stating that loli is fine so long as it isn't based on real stuff or super realistic).

where?

thanks

>legality with no enforcement
It's fucking nothing. Stop being a pussy cause no one cares about your 2D cartoons.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_status_of_cartoon_pornography_depicting_minors#United_States

Read through some of those cases and the charges.

>wikipedia
Brazil here, that's bull. They are taking one of our laws and interpreting in a way that is has never and will never be applied.

Seriously, NEVER go to wikipedia for anything related to laws, it's almost always outdated or just plain wrong.

law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1465#

The old saying will always be true.

Where there's a way, there's a will.
Where there's a will, there's a way.

Looking through all of those shows they were on a State level without appeals made, along with many of them being the usual "the guy had actual CP too and that's how the initial charges were made". To state again, you CANNOT get in trouble purely for drawn content. It's similar to how there are no hate crimes in America, but they can be used as a modifier. If I call someone a nigger, I cannot get in trouble for it. However, if it is found that I murdered someone while yelling "you dumb nigger", that could be used to add to my sentence as a result of "hate fueled crime".

That was overruled and only applied to public shipping methods like USPS. Private shipping methods like UPS or Fedex do not apply.

But is is just plain wrong. I'm a lawyer here I'm not just making shit up.

I, too, am a lawyer

Loli is legal, fap away.

reason.com/blog/2013/01/31/missouri-man-gets-three-years-for-posses

>The upshot is that Congress so far has managed to criminalize possession of virtual child porn, even though the Supreme Court has explicitly said it may not do that, by calling it something else

>doesn't link the actual article

just stick it in the pooper

Exceptions do not make the rule. The Supreme Court said X, so X it must be. Until the Supreme Court says Y, it is still X. What you're listing are States (not the Federal level) trying to twist the rules to work for their supposed morality. All these cases would be thrown out if you invested in a proper lawyer and appealed to the Federal level, as I've said before.

Everyone lives in one state or another, for the most part. So the reality of matter is, state laws apply to people.

They definitely do, but State laws mean jack shit on these kinds of matters if you're willing to go the extra mile and appeal to the Federal level. However, doing so can require an intelligent lawyer AND quite some time (easily over a year, if not longer). This is also not including how local municipalities like to smear campaign people even if they are later found innocent. The end result is a tarnished or destroyed reputation even if no charges are found against you.

>So that's 20 years for you
Not even.

Show me someone who has been bagged on obscenity for 2D loli and gotten 20 years.

>Article 214-E: For the purpose of the crimes defined in this Law, the term "explicit sexual or pornographic scenes" means any situation involving children or adolescents in explicit sexual activities, real or simulated, or exhibition of the genitals of a child or adolescent for primarily sexual motivations.
>real or simulated
And here is where whoever wrote the article on wikipedia fucked up. By simulated it means that if you record a child or adolescent simulating having sex is still illegal. This law is not talking about drawings of non existent kids.

It's kinda sickening that gay marriage is openly accepted but fapping to cute lolis makes you a criminal.

>openly accepted

Hardly. There's still massive backlash from many States that are still petitioning to have the case thrown out. On top of that, Trump's looming presence may actually get the case thrown out. He's already confirmed he's appointing a justice that would attempt to throw out Roe v Wade (which would mean States could choose to ban abortions or birth control if they please). Obergefell v Hodges would be next on the chopping block.

fuck off fag

Dwight Whorley

20 years due to mandatory time from previous crime. His "current" crime was looking at comic porn, but due to his past crimes, he was given 20 years.

Definition of simulated is done by the courts, not wiki nor you. Best to stick to the loosest form first and then constrict from there, otherwise, banking yourself on your own personal definition will land you in jail when you lose against Chad McHandsome lawyer.

Where do you people come from?

As someone who is a law student, I just find this stuff fascinating. Overruling those two cases would be a massive boost to States' Rights (allowing States to govern themselves instead of an overly oppressive Federal government strangling them). On the other hand, a lot of people would argue that overruling those two cases would destroy Civil Rights.

I am neutral to the ruling of Obergefell, but I must stand by the fact that Justice Kennedy's Logos was terrible. You cannot make a ruling by basing on the notion of "I feel" and citing fucking Confucius instead of proper precedent.

>Definition of simulated is done by the courts
No because our system is not common law. I just actually explained to you what that law is saying, the translation might confuse english speakers but if they actually wanted to mean anything other than actual kids simulating sex it would say representation not simulation.
Not to mention that even pornographic drawings are protected by our Constituion.
Seriously you should stfu if you don't know anything about law.

asstr org/~Kristen/45/abetrayl.txt

omfg this is hot

I'm a brazilian lawyer by the way

you can get fucking jailed for having lewd drawings? what the fuck? gotta keep the streets safe from those sick fucks and their drawings amirite?

>mandatory time from previous crime
Right, so you have the ONE case where ONE guy was given a sentence in relation to another crime, in circumstances which sound shady based on how you put it.

>US court is dumb i'm smurter than judge McChad what I say goes

>US court is dumb
Yes.

lewd drawings, texts, etc

In the US, if its not pertaining to scientific, literary, or artistic merit, then you can get jailed. Its one way to bypass the supreme court's ruling on drawn lewd porn.

Anglo countries confirmed for shit

>huehue trying to explain american law
What you're forgetting, my monkey friend, is that barely a handful of convictions have ever come up since the federal law change in the 2000's, most of these being related to people who were also convicted for real child pornography or child sex crimes

>US court is dumb
I'm talking about Brazil you fucking idiot.
Brazil legal system is vastly different than US legal system.
The Judge can't just do whatever the fuck he wants here, and I'm also pretty sure they can't there either.
Not to mention that you would have to be charged for the possesion of loli before even being brought to a judge and how are they going to charge you for something if nobody is monitoring whether people are masturbating to cartoon images of minors or not?
Seriously kill urself

>american law
That is fucking brazilian law you god damn moron.

>then you can get jailed
But nobody does.
