Best way to die, being kissed by a loli

Now she's finally a true little girl

It's like American Psycho.

And thus, he's free from the only thing keeping him alive; revenge.

So who will win the Hesterbowl now?

Pearl becomes a rich heiress, so you'll get your rich precocious oujo loli.

So she doesn't go back to England.

Nope, still no new revelation from God.

Looks like she remains a widower for the rest of her days.

And here's our writer.

What a good feminist he is.

Who isn't ashamed of Puritans?

Afterwords.

Oh wow, you are right.

Whoa, character design.

And that's it! That took a long while.

Thanks for posting! It was a good read.

As far as manga adaptions go, this was actually pretty good. Thanks for the dump.

Thanks for the story man!
I knew of the book but I've only seen the 90's movie adaptation, which seems was not very faithful (trusting this Crystalmoon girl that this adaptation is more faithful) and had a shoehorned Hollywood happy ending

>the Scarlet Letter
Fuck that book, The Alchemist, and A Doll's House.

Fuck, I want more of this sort of adaption. The artstyle is pretty nice.

I would die in peace feeling fulfilled with my life if that was me.

Actually Hawthorne hated women, especially female writers, who he denounced as "scribblers", and also said that needlework was the only "art" within a woman's grasp.

The great irony being that in Hester he accidentally wrote a female character of great strength, independence, and societal rebelliousness who was also cerebral and skilled in self-management. An irony that history has played on many male writers who wrote good female characters while espousing negative views on the same.

>sexy puritan dresses
>bishi priest
>erlking husband
>suiseiseki daughter
very pleasing designs, indeed.

Although I wonder how well they capture the source's intent

Two or three years ago I read The Scarlet Letter, but didn't like it that much. After reading this adaptation and growing as a reader, I think I'll read it again to see if my understanding of the novel has changed.

Thanks for sharing it, user.

More like being good characters has nothing to do with being independent or whatever.
And the authors could as well think those women they wrote about were awful examples of good women, but wrote about them precisely because of their flaws.

The loli gained pupils in her eyes at the end

Thanks OP

>cyan instead of scarlet
a goof or deepest lore?

The devil is in this thread

Ty for the dump, I forgot this existed despite having heard about it having liked the source material more than other students during hs

And of course Hester Prynne was cute as expected. Pearl could have been less moe
