Aku no Hana ED

Easy bitch, youtube.com/watch?v=IcseamG7ReY

5/4 Masterrace!

Do you guys actually read the sheet music for it or are you just able to tell by ear?

It's not that difficult.
youtube.com/watch?v=95EQm1ndKJA

I sucked at noticing rhythms, got better and now I'm here.

For some people.

Whilst learning guitar I took a music theory course(high school level, so not too difficult.) The bitch teacher would give us tests to see if we could listen to instrumental and call which notes are being played. I was never able to figure it out. The rest of the class was ezpz though.

Its honestly not hard if you've played an instrument for more than a few years

what?

KUMA MIKO DANCING DANCING

Song for Friends from Little Busters is 7/8 for the verse and 4/4 for the chorus.

4/4 is easier to map, fuck you.

>>>/ยต/

The ending of Subete ga F ni naru was mostly in 7/4. That song is also the only good part of the show.

From what I remember, most of the Death Note stuff were in odd time signatures and/or had changing time signatures.

youtube.com/watch?v=MN_WgwEmRaw
... I think. I only took a bit of music back in school.

It is insanely easy to do by ear with barely any experience, just count along with it and you will get the hang quick.

yeah that shit was crazy

Definitely sounds like 3/4 time to me.
So yes, you are correct.

youtube.com/watch?v=wmXqQNKByVg

It's pretty easy, you can do it just by looking it up and teaching yourself.

Recognizing which major or minor scale a song is in is pretty bull though.

youtube.com/watch?v=_WjZuC6IElY

I'm guessing, musicanons please confirm

Yep, it's 6/4 also check'd desu.

What the fuck does 4/4 time mean?

>season 2 never
>LN translation never

What is google?

>Gainax Shaft collab never again

AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

4/4 is the same thing as 1
so 4/4 time is 1 time
meaning that the whole song is played one time

if, for instance, you had 3/4 time (also known as hammer time), only 75% of the song would play

what the fuck does google mean

2/4

4/4

3/4

Why did you post this same thread on Sup Forums

I've been going through my favorite op's and ed's and I still have no idea how to tell the rhythms apart.

It means it's plebshit.

It's kinda hard to explain but try counting the beat

Like the times the beat repeats before there's a pause or a change in tempo?

Sup Forums pls

Just count the beats in one measure.

Is this 3/4 ?
youtube.com/watch?v=4GC5R_v-CFs
I never had music in school.

Does this count? there a part of it in 14/4.
youtube.com/watch?v=-Tdu4uKSZ3M

I dunno about this 4/4 shit but hey I want to post this 10/10 ED

youtube.com/watch?v=e3GlkU_y-Pw

speaking of shitty japanese music
do they not understand chord progressions?

it feels like 90% of japanese music is just neverending streams of chromatic bullshit that doesn't even make any sense

Sup Forums please, you guys love ItAotS and most of the songs are played in 4/4

I only listen to progressive djent funk.

Posting prog rock is cheating.

Apparently it's asian music in general. I seem to vaguely recall a music class on the subject, historically they're prone to using certain types of melodies, that are actually quite simple.

Ofc I might be bullshitting so correct me if I'm wrong.

4/4?
youtube.com/watch?v=OasBTTMxa_U

But jazz isn't Japanese.

youtube.com/watch?v=jVOJvSEFa8c

youtu.be/WRemgFumYK4
Bam, literally first song that came to my head

Ok, so let me see if I got it right.
Is this one 2/4?
youtube.com/watch?v=AV7QjFdNkUk

youtube.com/watch?v=UwxatzcYf9Q

youtube.com/watch?v=HcgEHrwdSO4

Isn't this in 3/4ths? I'm a music theory scrub but it sounds like it a three beat rhythm to me.

...

What the fuck is 4/4 for the euphonically illiterate?

Is this 4/4? youtube.com/watch?v=yO1oZQuBMK0

youtu.be/Bi-5X40B9T8

WHAT UP PEOPLE?!

I just learned about this from this thread, but this sounds like 4/4 to me.

Normally I can tell pretty easy but fuck Ling Tosite Sigure makes there's pretty difficult sometimes,

I have no Idea what Enigmatic Feeling is supposed to be in

youtube.com/watch?v=5IoHBOIWM9c

Isn't it 4/4?

posting shoegaze is cheating user

That's what I keep thinking be either I keep losing track of the beat or there's a weird pick up note somewhere, because I always end up counting 5/4

youtube.com/watch?v=rIrLkLPg3Uk
3/4

I'm not sure, but I think it might be 5/4 during some parts.

>tfw posting musical masterpieces and hoping they're good enough for Sup Forums

youtube.com/watch?v=nBgEr07Sq6s

Well actually according to this particular video it's 6/4. But that's dumb, so ignore it

>most people in Sup Forums don't know what 4/4 time is
Didn't burgerland teach you this in middle school?

Why does 3/4 sounds so comfy and warm? Can a musicfag explain?

Not in most countries.

Not live in burgerland, and most kids don't pay enough attention to remember that user.

We were too poor for instruments

It's definitely 3/4, with an anacrusis, so the first beat you hear is the "3rd" of that bar. If it's written properly the song would end on the 2nd beat.

I'm pretty sure they do in overwhelming majority of first world countries.

>implying only burgerfags post on Sup Forums

How do you tell the difference?

We didn't use instruments as well, but we were atleast taught what a time signature is, and were shown examples of it through videos.

Nice source.

In terms of notation, there isn't one. You could go full retard and denote it as 24/4 if you wanted to. It's more about the "feel" of the song.

But first world countries are the minorities of all the countries, and population, of the world.

Honestly my untrained ear can't tell what time this is in due to all the expression but I think?

youtube.com/watch?v=8XyDcOgf4vA

I never had music theory at school.

To clarify, it has to be some multiple of 3 in this case, above 4. Not just any random number.

Also pretty sure this one is 6/4

youtube.com/watch?v=EaOpuwY964Q

not anime but I want to post it because fuck your ears
youtube.com/watch?v=1SgvPqL2dSs

Wow, I had forgotten this ED, it's really good

It's called Jazzpanese, you dumbass.

Yeah if you're a fucking band geek.

This OST is so fucking brilliant and underappreciated.

This is shit. Faggots will defend this and call it "art"

The last time music was a required class was elementary school.

With all due respect user, you just don't get it.

It's a videogame soundtrack, and it does kinda work well with the context.

It literally is

Great music is great even without context.

I'm from Latin America and I knew this much

t. Only listens to songs that give him happy feelings

Probably in 4/4

*7/8

I bet you only listen to plebby 4/4 shit.

Great is a subjective word and you don't have to enjoy something for it to be merited as art, the soundtrack is meant to be unnerving and bizarre.

If it works in its context, then it is fine.
>"art"
