if you're talking about flipflap then you completely missed why they sexualized cockona and papussy

>Make a good show by sexualizing the characters
>Ruin it by having "unique" ideas and a comboluted plot

for the yurifags?

farfromanimation.wordpress.com/2016/11/17/i-riferimenti-culturali-di-flip-flappers-jakob-von-uexkull/ indeed, true intellectual anime

>ruin
nah

Because you're a prude faggot who has conditioned responses where his brain should be?

>i rifiriminti culturali di firipi furapiris jikib vin uexkilii
Whit a griti posti, fellowi anoni

>Unique ideas
No
>Great production
No
>Sexualizing the characters
Yes

I don't look for anything new in anime, just different girls to flip flap to

A show about adolescence also touches upon sex? You'd think most people with a double digit age would have a decent idea why they'd include that.

So that's why they spelled Yxkull so oddly.

It was a joke user, and it went over your head.

I mean this was one of the first frames of the girls within PI, and you didn't laugh on the absurdity of it?

Is Cocona the Rito of the magical dyke girl genre?

Phallic imagery and creepy male gaze camera have nothing to do with exploring the adolescence of two little girls.

>make a show with super hot characters
>only sexualize them for like 2 episodes
why is this a thing?

Ignore faggot OP, post sukumizu flappers

Flip Flappers isn't about adolescence, you're thinking of Eupho. It's about paying homage to past anime. The last episode was an homage to mecha shit and in-cockpit fanservice is a mecha staple.

you mean it isn't just about adolescence and is also about homage. Seems pretty clear that themes of change and growing up are fairly central to the story.

because you are an clueless and insecure normie who wants your entertainment to be cool and mainstream and something you can show to your other normie friends without embarrassment. but anime will never be that.

Kill la Kill did it that way.

Fanservice.

Piracy damages the potential gain of money from ad revenue and DVD sales, thus they must rely on stuff like fanservice and PVCs to titillate the fans.

Let me guess: PUBERTY?

Fuck off tumblr, no one cares

>sexualizing the characters ruins the show
Why is this idea a thing?

I'm with you OP.

I think they could tone down the fan service a little.

Cockona?

...

Just fuck off, you've been pushing this bait about flip flappers ever since the first episode. Sex is part of life and has just as much a place in any story as death, comedy, loss, and happiness. All these go hand in hand, what actually ruins stories is when prudish retards with archaic ideals that were never good try to remove vital parts of human life from them.

Also protip: Human bodies reach sexual maturity around 14-15 in most people, there's nothing wrong with sexualizing or fucking people at that age, in fact it is disordered not to. 18 is an arbitrary number, but I wouldn't expect a brainwashed retard like you to understand.

police

FLCL was about adolescence and homage

Things can be two things at once

>cockona

>Fapika

Just report and move on, people.

If you actually cared about the characters you wouldn't want them to be exploited and objectified in this way. If you can't see why this is morally wrong then you and many of the others here are beyond saving.

Keep in mind I wouldn't have complained if this was just another fad shit show but this one was artistic and had pretenses at exploring meaningful themes.

>this one was artistic and had pretenses at exploring meaningful themes
I will need to use this one myself later on. Thanks user.

I'm not joking. I am insanely upset right now. I will never watch a currently airing show again. The sheer disappointment I am feeling is simply beyond words. This isn't good for my health.

the yuri shit feels forced tbqh fampai

Cocona is sexual regardless.

>larvalsubjects
My sides have been flipflapped.

Next episode will be deepsy and angsty according to spoiler. Don't leave, OP.

If the camera angles continue until next episode, feel free to complain. For now I'm going under the assumption that the episode was in Bu-vision

Then stop watching it, faggot

I'm on episode 2. When does this show get good?

An avant-garde post-modern helter-skelter aggregation of, more or less, discordant phantasmagorical acid trips laced with yuri fanservice in which all partaking female's breasts are no larger than A cups.

Flip fappers

This show never gets good. 8 episodes in and I already gave up. I had a hunch from the start that it wouldn't have a coherent plot at all, just a shitty pile of mess. It doesn't even have original ideas like all those shitty 80s OVAs.

Now I can't show this to my daughter

Not even in my top 3 this season.

How the fuck do you even pronounce Uexküll?

It doesn't change much. I'd say it's watchable for the animation and background art (and yuri pandering if you're into that), but everything else is really plain and average.

Well then, what is?

>This show never gets good. 8 episodes in and I already gave up.

Matoi, the Sacred Slayer is AOTS.

It's a shame only 3 people in the entire world are watching it.

>If you can't see why this is morally wrong then you and many of the others here are beyond saving.
gomen user
Your purity is wasted on us

>being so uncomfortable about the female body that it ruins an anime for you
Why do you hate women?

>good show with unique ideas
>this is what flip shitters actually believe

What the fuck is even going on in this show?

Man while it's great that the "omg this makes no sense" trolls have given up the angle, the new one they came up with isn't much better.

if the show really is good, sexualization wont ruin it

>laugh
I was too erect to laugh.

I'm enjoying Matoi a lot too. I like FF more but both are a fresh of breath air, I like magical girls without edge.

He asked for your top 3

>magical girls without edge

did i watch a different episode 1 of matoi than you

I dropped it after I saw the PV. The art was too ugly for me. Sorry

You know, I was really scared Matoi was going to be edgy based on the first episode too but literally nobody has died in it so far despite them having a million chances to kill people left and right.

Not even background characters die.

Yeah, I dislike the overt sexualization, especially during times where it's supposed to be serious or introspective, the camera is always angled in a way to take lewd shots.

Of course the fan base won't complain, it just takes up valuable screen time that could be better used for characterization of enhance the bad ass fights

This show is a lot like Fairy Tail: nothing going for it BUT the fanservice.

We did it Sup Forums, our "ironic" shitposting is now worse than tumblr and reddit combined.

Literally no other place on the internet complains more about the fanservice in flip flappers than Sup Forums.

The 3 episode was fun and had Mad Max inflation.
The fifth episode was cool and spooky.

>a few seconds of an episode's airing time ruined the entire show

wtf am i reading

Never. I dropped this after 7 eps because Sup Forums wouldn't shut up about it.

They're middle schoolers. They are made to be sexualized.

Are you the same retard who moved on from Keijo after getting BTFO in the first episode threads?

FUCK OFF

>actually complaining about cute little girls
And people say Sup Forums isn't dying.

there's really something wrong when i go to tumblr for lewd fanart and to Sup Forums for arguing about whether butt shots are problematic.

It's not just a few seconds of fanservice, it's an ideological dissonance of what the show promises to be and what it actually is. This is different than say Keijo which is transparent about its focus. This is like if a Miyazaki film or Serial Experiments Lain were to perv on their MCs. It is just creepy, weird and uncomfortable to watch.

Already good

What did you find ugly about it?

it's more like if evangelion were to perv on its MCs

OH WAIT

I almost responded seriously to this. I'm slipping.

The face mostly.

I know this is bait but can we just take a moment to appreciate how sexy Kiki is?

The girls aren't real.

U X Q L

Evaangelion sexually inclined scenes were reflective of Shinji's head space and not a trashy wink to the audience.

dumb phoneposter

Not him, but the eyes are too big.
Even for an anime they have freakishly big eyes.

One of the themes of this episode was awkward body sizes/uncomfortable spaces.

When people hit puberty, the growth spurt results in sudden and uneven changes to their dimensions. Teens find themselves feeling unfamiliar in familiar spaces, uncomfortable in previously comfortable positions, and feeling like they suddenly don't know the shape of their own bodies anymore. One of the significant ways in which this is manifested is the development of secondary sexual characteristics, particularly in women where the growth of their hips and butt can be awkward, particularly with regards to sitting positions they were accustomed to before puberty.

The "cockpits" of their mecha were essentially just the Thomasson in Flip Flap HQ that they use to enter PI, but shrunk down to the point where they couldn't fit into it comfortably. A familiar space suddenly made unfamiliar by the uncertain dimensions of their growing bodies.

You can consider this another facet of Cocona's confrontation with change from episode 6&7. She's now facing unavopidable change in the world around her that manifests in the way she fits into the environment, in the way she locates herself in the space around her and in how she finds her place in what was once familiar but now is changed. The emphasis on her body's dimensions, particularly her exaggerated butt and her size relative to the space around her, were physical representations of Cocona's conflicted feelings regarding the changes happening in her life (eg. iroha) and how she coped with them.

Nice headcanon
>the animators who spent hundreds of hours drawing these sexualized scenes of little girls are clearly not doing it because they like it but because of some obscure thematic meaning!

lol sure buddy, plugsuits were just reflective of shinji's headspace

>2D girls can't be proud and secure about their bodies and sexuality.

>animators want to draw cute and sexy girls
>animators draw cute and sexy girls
What's wrong?

In earlier episodes it was to contrast between the two leads personalities, in this episode it was because they were inside the perverted robot's mind.

tl;dr you're an idiot go back to tumblr

Wow you're obnoxious.

that's Keijo

what's wrong with big eyes

>Sexualization is objectification and exploitation
Factually untrue . Only feminazis believe this.

their faces look cute to me

mee 2 senpai

>The girls aren't real.
Fuck off.

This is some effective brain conditioning. I thought you were just trolling but I see you're just a zombie.
