Because it's a slice of life mahou shoujo that can be serious at times while Precum is just a shonen with magic girls as characters.

>why is this show more enjoyable than Precure

Because it actually plays to long weekly anime's strengths by focusing on down-to-earth character drama rather than action sequences.

Also don't skip the extra Naisho season that aired after season 4, it's got some of the best episodes in the series.

why are the op's so catchy

youtube.com/watch?v=agX0qoks-qI

Which season are you on, OP?

This needs a new dub that isn't 4Kids shit.

Just like Tokyo Mew Mew

I feel so god damn old thanks guys...

I want to feed Doremi my tubesteak while Hadzuki licks my balls

Doremi so damn good. Adapting LNs when?

Have you read? I keep hearing that they're not very good?

I you want to watch this, remember to download the new Doremi v2 releases rather than the old ones.

Can someone post some screenshots?

Haven't seen Doremi and I'm only in the middle of Futari wa Max Heart, but Precure is pretty bad in literally everything but characters. And even then the characters aren't THAT amazing or anything like that.

I imagine most things are more enjoyable than it.

Why?

Futari wa is okay and Max Heart is shit. Splash star is okay as well. It doesn't really get good until precure 5, and it's all uphill from there.

I tried watching Doremi and got bored, precure is shit too but it's my kind of shit. Doremi's not better, it's just your kind of shit OP.

I mostly only have reaction faces though.

I'm about halfway through Sharp, it's solid. The only Precure I've seen is Heartcatch, which I prefer to Doremi.

Softsubs, better video, many minor fixes. Available up to the second half of S2, actively worked on.

>Which season are you on, OP?
More than halfway into the first. Not sure what order the other seasons go in just yet.

>Just like Tokyo Mew Mew
They redubed Tokyo Mew Mew?

>Can someone post some screenshots?
I've been an idiot and started deleting my downloads. I should of kept them for webms and screencaps. I'll try to make some when I can, only on episode 30 of the first season though.

Heartcatch is the best Precure by a mile. I think almost anyone could enjoy it. I certainly recommend curious anons to give it a try.

Who /tamaki/ here?

The DoReMi's make the best faces.

Definitely, it was a ton of fun. I could see people getting hung up on the first half, what with its repetitiveness and strict formula, but its characters and art and writing typically keep it afloat. Once Yuri joins though, the show just gets fantastic right up until the end.

Did anyone watch any of the dubs as a kid? I've heard the US dub OP, and it's an insult.

Like everything 4kids touch.

Which ojamajo would you fuck?

Doremi is a masterpiece!
If I had a girl child one day, I'll make her to watch it.
It's beautiful.

...

>wanting dubs

what the fuck, back to r/anime

The ojamajo's are too pure for that so all of them

youtube.com/watch?v=oUIUO6mgo6Q

Reminder that onpu is a stinky shit and pleases old men for money.

>when they see your dick

>This needs a new dub that isn't 4Kids shit.

The mexican and spanish dub exist.
>They are deleted of youtube

If by precure you mean maho, it's cause maho stupidity didn't try to be like doremi. If in general, you need to fuck off.

>complains about second-best ojamajo
>posts worst ojamajo
Don't get me wrong, she used to be my favorite in the beginning.

...

Action sequences can work in long weekly anime. It just needs a sense of plot progression to make the action scenes have impact. The problem with Precure is that 90% of the episodes are purely episodic and don't advance the plot in any way. Also every episode has to have the bad guys attacking and losing in that same episode. It's a symptom of being a little girl's show.

Honestly the only precure I watched was Heartcatch because it's the same director and designer of Doremi.
I wish Precure was less formulaic and didn't rely on so much final attack stock footage, since the characters were 10/10 but the episodes got boring since all the fight scenes were irrelevant since they always end the same way.

I wish they adapted the Doremi novels as movies or OVAs. Anything to avoid quality.

>It's a symptom of being a little girl's show.
CCS did it correctly though.

No, I'm saying it needs a new dub too.

I don't speak Taco.

grand majority of CCS episodes have an actual antagonist though, it's just some kind of weird supernatural thing that trips up sakura and friends

Fuck, I really want to finish watching this, but I have a rule where I can only watch it depressed.

I was about 10-20 episodes into Sharp.

Precure does too, though. Usually a dumb monster they have to beat and then everyone learns a lesson. But the repetitiveness and lack of creativity in the plot department, regardless of how lovely character activities and interactions are, make Precure weaker in comparison.
Also CCS, even when it was episodic, provided a story and character progression.

More like
>when they see MY dick

To me it looks like Toei has been retargeting Precure towards to younger girls, starting with Happiness Charge. There are some anomalies, but that's the impression I get. It seems very evident in the latest season, Maho Girls.

Woo Doremi thread.

>Not sure what order the other seasons go in just yet.
Here you go.

...

I think the only good thing about that movie was a transformation without a music sequence which was cool to see.

Honestly, even little kids care about that stuff

I agree, but the second half of sharp is much better than the first one. There are too many baby episodes in the first half, so the whole school environment feels forgotten.

please delete, onpu is a good girl and did nothing wrong after the mindrape in season one

It's better because it was made by a REALLY solid and experienced team(Sato, Igarashi, Yamauchi, Umakoshi, Yamada). Toei had so much talent in the 90s and Doremi (and Nadja I guess) was more or less the last show they worked on before everyone went freelance.

Her episode in Naisho is honestly one of the best episodes in the entire show.
Hell, Naisho in general is a masterpiece imo.

Yeah. My top three episodes besides the endings are that one, the piano episode in Sharp, and the doll episode in Naisho (which pulled off death in a children's show with a lot more tact than the cancer one, imo).

My only problem with Naisho is the Aiko episode felt really weird and out of place. Other than that it was perfect.

Good taste. Those are also all my favorite episodes.
>doll episode in Naisho
>you see old Doremi for a split second
Seeing that broke me.
Even though it spoils the decision at the end of the show, it was great.

I sometimes wonder if that witch who spend a day with Doremi came to see her.
>you made the right choice Doremi

I remember jacking off to Hazuki a lot.

This show good?
Never watched much magical girl stuff.

It's honestly great.

Depends on your tolerance for cute stuff. The first season dedicates maybe 50 episodes to world-building and introducing characters. A lot of them are interesting in their own way, but I find episodic shows hard to get really invested in.

The payoff is grand though.

one of the most important Doremi team member was the same guy who made princess tutu.

Huh, cool.

Me on the right

Onpu best gurl.

The first season aired dubbed on TV here, I think it's what made me want to be a little girl.

Please go back to your /ak/ threads, user

This.
Also the TL;DR of the light novels is, Hana gets into an emo phase and causes so much shit that forces her Mamas to become Ojamajos again just to deal with it.
Also, they take the DELIBERATE limitation of "don't ever allow us to use magc for self-gain". Also, Ompu learns about karma when her very first unselfish act (from the earlier season, when she was still moving from selfish antagonist to fourth protagonist) comes back to help her in a big way when she needs it most.
More would be spoilers.

>Even though it spoils the decision at the end of the show, it was great.
But also proves that her decision was correct.

>Doremi
>/ak/
Makes more sense than you think

Take note; the order on this is correct but the descriptions are pure bullshit and you should ignore them

This.

46-old watching the series with my daughter. Her (and my) top episode is the one of Ompu singing to Hana and the other babies. It marks the exact point where she finally stops being a selfish witch and her transition to being "one of the good guys" ends.
I mention the part about age and daughter to show that said scene can appeal to a rather broad audience.

>Why am I enjoying this way more than Precure
Because it's way better

>why is this show so damn good?
funny faces

>so damn good
Also actual plot (which came as an amazing surprise)
