>upholding law and order

>formed specifically to combat a group of hired killers

Sounds about right

Bols ;_;

"Evil Tyrant" Esdeath:
>Makes sure not to put her subordinates and soldiers in unneccessary harm's way
>Only expects of her men what she expests of herself
>Cares for the mental health of her subordinates (takes care of Seryu after Stylish' death, insists on Bols taking his mask off when eating with the other Jaegers)
>Mourns the death of her former subordinates, the Three Demons (albeit with some harsh words accompanying them)
>Has won the unquestioning loyalty of her soldiers (why else would that one nameless goon have an Esdeath sticker on his sword?)
She's not perfect and she's still a sadist who tortures for fun and breeds war for sport, but let's compare her counterpart

"Good guy" Najenda:
>Sends subordinates and soldiers alike on what might as well be suicide missions
>Refrains from personally acting on the frontlines, she prefers barking orders to leading by example
>The mental health of her subordinates is never brought up until Tyrant literally starts taking over Tatsumi's mind and body
>Mourning the dead is kept to an absolute minimum
>Due to her shoddy leadership her soldiers waver at the first sign of bad news (compare Esdeath's men, who never lose faith)
>Her very first action as head of the provisional government is EXECUTING AN UNDERAGE CHILD
Some people say Akame ga Kill is edgy shounenshit that tries but fails to tell a grey morality story. In fact the moral of the story is brilliantly grey: history is written by the victors.

Kurome did nothing wrong.

The Northern Race was asking for it desu.
Too qt

No!

Triple confirms. Good guys won't genociding innocent villages and people.

Half a Lucifer confirms nothing
>innocent

Esdeath, does kills an entire village and some nobles for catch night raid. Never forget, never forgive!

Any of them that ran was a rebel and any that remained was a well disciplined rebel.

I wonder how different things would have been if she went with Akame or Akame stayed with her.

Not in my version of the story. Death to the Jaegers, THE government corrupt dogs. Hail to the assassins Night Raid!

Wasn't the village the residence of a tribe attacking the empire? And as i recall, she specifcally left some of them alive so that there'd still be someone to fight later

No that was an innocent village and nobles.

Yeah, and didn't she also spare them so that they had to live with the humiliation of defeat?

nobles, what?
I don't recall Esdeath slaughtering any other villages

Jaegers were the "good" guys.

It was the for the luring Night raid.

She literally did nothing wrong.

...

The dogs of the dictatorship are never a good guys. Freedom prevails.

>literally did nothing wrong
>literally got cut down in close quarters by a sniper who is said to suck in close quarters fighting

She did something pretty wrong.

She was out of ammunition and already wounded. Yet she still fought on in the name of justice. Sad!

They were good people obeying a bad regime, so in the end they were bad.

But put them in a good regime and all of them would be heroes without doubt.

especially this qt

...

Better the devil you know...
Plus the new regime starts with the murder of a child, doubt things will be getting much better. Run had the right idea.

Best girls comforting each other. MUH DICK.

The Prime minister reign was a complete disaster his regime has don't have right to live.

The emperor didn't do anything

he was a good boy

Yes, pretty much, the Jaegers weren't only the real heroes, they were much better characters than Night Raid people. People keep saying edgy this and edgy that, but the real edge started when Wild Hunt came into the picture, they didn't had any purpose in the series other than being edgy.

>Childhood is agreeing with Night Raid and their tactics
>Adulthood is realizing that Night Raid are filthy goddamn terrs and the Jaegers were just slotting floppies in an effort to keep degeneracy at bay

This series would've been better with an edgy MC who stuck with the Jaegers or who learned to understand them instead of an idiot who couldn't see the other side.

>Government was has considered common people as a cattle
>the Jaegers dindu nuffin wrong

Who Wild Hunt here?
