It was interesting because Araki took the nature vs. nurture side of the arguments of behavioral development and mashed them together. Yoshihiro was terrible for recognizing his son was mentally unstable when it came to women's hands and should have gotten him help instead of encouraging it. His predisposition for sociopathy was always there, but his parents fucking ENCOURAGED that shit.
Kira is DEFINITELY a villain who was in the wrong, though.
