he had some air left in his lungs so he blew it out

Same way a shuttle cruiser does.

Sheer Anger.

He farted.

His desire to tear Jojo apart kept him going

>literally bullied to death

In Jojo, there is air in space.

he expelled air from his own body
what about this do you not understand?

Because that's one of the ways astronauts move about in space

He expelled the air in his own body.
Protip, that's how astronauts and shuttle cruisers (when turning) move about in space.

>freezing in space
He was launched during the middle of the day and without the atmosphere he should've burned up. Kars already demonstrated he can still burn in lava without protection, so getting burned up by the sun is plausible, and just as poetic. If Araki really wanted to do the fate worse than death thing he can have him regenerate just as fast as the sun can burn him.

You're right, without the atmosphere it'd melt him, just like our moon.

Oh wait, that's not how the sun works.

He looks like the cover of In the Court of the Crimson King in that pic

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. When air is accelerated in one direction it results in an equal force being applied to whatever blew the air out. It doesn't do much on earth because there's too many other forces to cause any acceleration, but in space it would.

Here's your (you)

read the fuck up dipshit
The moon /is/ burning
The surface reaches 100*c + when the sun shines on the moon

>In space
>Not freezing

What is vacuum space?

>in space
>not overheating
Radiation is a really shitty way to disperse heat.

(if we're going to misrepresent physics, I want in too)

>expels air
>moves in the opposite direction because of the reaction force
That's exactly how it works. Ever heard of Newton's third law?

He didn't. It froze and he kept floating away.

Dyewts

>Believes anything in space freezes automatically
The only way to loose heat in space is through radiation, the shittiest way.

>space is cold
when will this meme die

Space IS cold.
2K is really fucking cold.
Space is just also very empty.

Can emptiness have a temperature?

>No atoms to conduct heat away from your body
>Somehow freeze
Maybe you should have paid attention in class, buddy.

Space isn't nearly as empty as it is advertised.

>Outer space, deep space, or just space, is the void that exists between celestial bodies, including Earth.[1] It is not completely empty, but consists of a hard vacuum containing a low density of particles, predominantly a plasma of hydrogen and helium as well as electromagnetic radiation, magnetic fields, neutrinos, dust and cosmic rays.
Wikipedia.

I think you overestimate what low density means user. Think of what's inside your skull.

Freezing in space is real. It just takes a lot of time.

You freeze when you aren't hit by direct sunlight, in a vacuum the first thing that happens is your liquids start to boil and evaporate due to not beeing enough pressure to keep them in a liquid form

>hurr hurr hurr hurr hurr hurr HUUUUURRRRRRRRR

Question is why he didn't just stop his ascent in the first place by turning into a blue whale or something

Maybe he quickly calculated how fast he was going, judged that he wasn't quite at escape velocity and decided that he would just spend some time in space and come back when the Joestars had died out.

Speaking of that, how the hell did jojo survive that fall?

A combination of offscreen magic and bizarre adventure.

His body is powered by sunlight at that point. Also he was blowing air jets to change direction, basically air conditioning his own body.

The rock he was holding onto crashed into a plane precisely at the point where a passenger parachute came loose. Joseph grabbed the package as he was falling and fell to a safe landing.

And finally, don't forget that before he actually gets to "space" proper he has to get through the upper atmosphere, which is very much not a vacuum.

The biggest flaw is that he would just fall back to earth; escaping earths gravity requires huge amounts of energy even under ideal circumstances, and straight up hardly is.

A FUCKING ARM

Volcanic eruptions aren't so far from that height that you can't explain it away by ripple/aja power amplifying the eruption.

It's not actually burning. You'd need oxygen for that and there is no oxygen in space. Before you talk bout the sun - the sun is not burning. It's a ball of plasma (kind of like fire but hotter), but it's not actually in the process of burning.

Kars could get a really bad (lethal) sunburn (which doesn't mean he'd actually burn), but he'd still freeze to death first.

He probably can't increase his mass out of nowhere. Not that he generally respected scientific laws, but what you propose would be a too blatant breaking of conservation of mass to allow it to pass.

Just inhale deeply and turn the air into body-mass.

>no atoms to conduct heat from the Sun to Earth
>Sun's heat gets to us anyway

Wow, maybe the aether theory was true after all

You'd need to be going over 11 km/s to escape earth's gravity. Anybody on the leading surface of an object moving at such speed in the atmosphere would have much bigger problem than later being stuck in space.

If you were Kars what would you have done to stay on Earth?

Of course it was true. It was just a primitive understanding of spacetime.

Climb around the rock until you're underneath it, then kick with super-strength.

Make my own cult and hope no interfering cunt tries to get in my way

>he fell for the modern science meme
I bet you don't believe in miasmatic theory and four humours.
Enjoy your "antibiotics" while I use actual medical science called bloodletting.

oh, the sweet blood

Turn into Jojo, kill the real one and convince everyone I'm him

Regular bloodletting has actually been demonstrated to reduce the risk of a number of diseases, such as hypertension and heart disease.

I just think that's kind of interesting.

That's just propaganda from the blood bank industry.

He froze because he tried to change his trajectory with air. You know how a can of compressed air cools down rapidly when you let air out?

Well Joseph is safe at least, since it was only that one rock that was moving fast enough to send Kars flying.

I'm not sure what kind of animal powers would be needed to survive escape but he seems to be okay with pretty high temperatures.

Because photos, you knuckle dragging nigger.

He was too fabulous to die

Where do they get more air from?

They import it.

they bring it with them

If Kars could generate life why couldnt he make a super long arm that extended to the earth? If he could do that why couldnt he use his animal pals and make a chain of monkeys or something that grabbed onto the earth or made some animal to push him towards the earth in space?

He can transform his body into other forms of life, but he can't produce large amounts of extra matter from nothing

But he could still make an animal and have it push him back to earth.
