Sword Art Online

How come so many people bash this animu?

Just finished it and I think it was great, it did have some flaws but still very good.

Season 3 when

This is what happens when MC gets a girl friend early on.

Should've waited for SAO Progressive to be animated.

Its anime was clearly rushed compared to the LN content

Let me guess.
Your top 10 animes are

Death Note
Attack on Titan
Sword Art Online
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Angel Beats
Code Geass
Naruto
Steins;Gate
Mirai Nikki
Toradora

In no particular order.

How correct am I?

Not very.

Attack on Titan
Sword Art Online
Toradora
K-on
Oreimo
Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso
Hibike (probably my favorite)
Anohana
Boku Dake ga Inai Machi
Hyouka

Kimi no na wa

But okay.

lol

are you implying that people bash SAO because of that?

ALO was terrible so everyone wanted to be the first to say they knew it was complete shit all along.

>50% A-1 Pictures

The easiest way to spot someone with bad taste.

He didn't fug the imouto

Actually Silver Link or Kyoto is probably my favorite studio, I just listed 10 animes randomly

But A-1 Pictures r pretty good

Sword Art Online doesn't actually deserve it's hate. It's just the usual 6/10 anime. But people hate on it because of it's popularity and circlejerks.

beautiful

That's what I thought, it was enjoyable atleast but it wasn't a masterpiece.

But a lot of people outright hate it for whatever reason? I'm curious as to why they think so

OP at some point you're going to have to come to terms with the fact that you are a faggot with abysmal taste in anime, might as well start now

social pressure, wanted to feel accepted by sharing the crowds opinions. something like that.

You need to watch at least 500 anime before posting on Sup Forums.

What should I be watching instead then?

oh, got a long way for that tbqh

>ctrl-f glop

Have you forgotten already, Sup Forums?

It's good if you're a male between 14-22 with the mental development of a 13 year old.

>A1 pictures is pretty good
You are the cancer that is killing anime

What if I'm a male between 23-50 with not shit taste like half of Sup Forums?

s-sorry

There should be an anime where they get stuck in a video game but it's a sierra or lucasarts one that runs on hilarious logic. It's a boy who knows all the tropes and a Bitchy girl who asks questions like: why the fuck would there be a cave behind the waterfall? How could you know?

And they have to solve ridiculous cartoon puzzles like using time travel to do laundry like in that one game.

So konosuba?

Thanks

Go into it with your expectations set as low as possible. It's bearable if you just focus on anime tiddies and nice animation. Ignore story and characters.

>OP asks what is so bad about SAO
>nobody actually answers the question

Classic!

I hated it becayse I love Accel World and I've read somewhere that the autor stoped it for a while
Then I read the accel world manga
It went to shit
Now I tought that sao is ok

Hey, it was better than gurren laggen. At least SAO didn't end in an asspull

SAO (aincrad arc) DID end in an asspull, literally.

Season 3 when?

What the fuck is this? A newfag trying to call out a slightly newer fag? My fucking god

Yeah, I'm a newfag with watching anime, hence is why I made this thread

Sorry senpai

I certainly haven't

Congraturations, this is literally the worst opinion I've ever read

I get that a lot.

I've only finished 33 different animes so far. Been watching since November 12, sorry senpai.

I wouldn't mind some suggestions though.

Evanjellion! Clearly you haven't seen it, it wasn't on your top ten list.

Just watch from top to bottom and you'll fit right in on /r/anime

There's a lot of those on the first page I tried watching but didn't like.

It's really fucking dumb, no characters act believable in the setting, its world is consistent with itself, the plot is full of contrivances for the sake of drama and convenience and the pace is all over the place.

I think the only episode I really like is the one in the first season right after Kirito gets out of SAO. The episode is a lot more grounded, characters act more believable than usual and just the general tone is a lot more interesting.

That meant to be
>its world is inconsistent with itself

It's ok, people just overreact because of its popularity.
