Who wants to use a competing video streaming service if it can't go past 480p due to throttling? >Consumers. They get to pay more in addon charges to get the same unrestricted internet they have now. All in all I think the losers outnumber the winners on this one. The argument for repealing it is that market forces will handle this better than government regulations. But WHAT FUCKING FREE MARKET? -- most places there's literally 1 or 2 ISPs to choose from, offering damn near the same shit for the same price. Fix this state-allowed monopoly/duopoly situation, and then we can talk about free market and market forces.
