Most foods have some form of sugar in them. Everybody consumes them and has done so for a very long time. You know that coke you drank? It has a very similar mix of the same sugars as fruit does. Eg apples and apple juice.

High fructose corn syrup is VERY different on a molecular level than natural fruit sugar, you idiot. Your body tries to figure out what it is but it literally cannot recognize it so it just packs it on as fat, doesn't even try to utilize. Whereas fruit sugar, real fruit sugar, is used for energy by the body, easily. It has no trouble recognizing and using natural substances.
