already a thread. delet ths

A girl kills herself and is stuck in limbo as a ghost, she pranks people and is seen as a malevent specter.

Two storylines, a guy, art sequences are dark and depiction of the girl is like the girl in the Ring. The girl, color scheme is positive in her perspective and her pranks seem more bubbly than in the perspective shown through the male.

It ends with her helping him conquer something that is obscured throughout the anime and revealed in a later episode.

A highschool boy gets a harem.

Write an Anime Plot is not a general, so multiple threads are allowable according to mods.

A boy falls in love with a girl. Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number.

It's not being deleted, so it must not be a general.

Anime with nothing but short stories of junji ito.

Real Steal: Folded One Mirrion Times.

Kyomanis Kenton used to be a master rogue but lost his chance to become king of thieves when rogue robots stole his jebs. Now working as a small-time apple salesman, Kyomanis pieces together scrap metal into low-end panty pickpockets, barely earning enough to make it from one otaku ghetto to the next. After hitting rock bottom, Kyomanis reluctantly teams with his estranged musume, Goyoyo, to build and train a uber-rogue robot for a last shot at redemption.

A 30 year-old MC is an otaku and /vr/ gamer who returns back to his hometown to find it completely changed, except for a 2-storey manga rental store/house.When he enters the manga store,it looks exactly the same, like in the late 90s.He goes upstairs to browse the comics like he used to;it is also filled from random toys from the 80s and 90s.He unexpectedly sees a cute halfu(half nippon/white) loli named Meru whom he used to know and chats her up.Strange thing is,she didn't seem to have aged since the 90s,then again the oba-san running the store also looks like she never aged.Soon he meets the loli's sister who is now grown up with a daughter(Oga) who's slightly older than Meru.Oga causes awkward moments since she likes running around naked, masturbating and saying adult-like things.Meru asks MC about Oga's adultish antics, and he keeps trying avoid them and tells her to "just google it" which puzzles her. After a few days, newer post-90s manga and toys start appearing upstairs, and MC discusses with Meru about how newer manga is shit and panders to moefags with shit taste.

PLOT-TWEEST: MC eventually finds out from oba-san that he is actually dead and haunting the house while blinded by his own 3deep5u tastes.IRL the house is no longer a store, and Oga and her mom are the only real people living in the house.

Sensei-chan gets her first teaching job out of uni and moves to the big city on her own for it. She's a bit shit at life and falls in love with the girl next door who is responsible and capable but also turns out to be one of her students!

Groundbreaking.

Stop posting that because it's already a thing.

In the future, due to declining birthrates, there is a government agency that visits virgin men on their 25th birthday and absolves them of their virginity. However the truth is that they are trying to stop people from becoming wizards at the age of 30.
The MC is a good-looking, but asexual fellow who is approaching his 25th birthday, still being a virgin. However when the agency comes to collect his virginity (his childhood friend (who is now a major slut) is the representative) he is rescued by a wizard and thrust into society's dark underworld where wizards and government agents play cat and mouse through the criminal underworld (the yakuza is secretly full of virgins and wizards).
MC's slutty childhood friend also desperately wants to "eat" him.

if that's the case, then we'll see what happens when I make NINETY-NINE OF THESE THREADS.

MC is trained by his mother to be the perfect man and he is swimming in bitches, but secretly he wants to fuck his mother.

Wow we must be twins I was thinking about a plot just like that! I even drew this excellent concept art.

DELET THIS

Okusan is adapted to an anime

...

It plays as a standard shoujo romance until the MC wins the Gary Stu bowl and realizes she might be a lesbian.

It would work as an ecchi manga.

An unassuming imageboard user posts a plot to an anime in a thread about a boy who falls in love with a girl, is unable to confess, and is gifted a deus ex machina. Suddenly, he hears a thud at the door, and freezes- he lives all alone. Nervously, he moves out through the pitch-black room towards the door, only to have it suddenly fling open as if you don't reply to this post your mother will die in her sleep tonight.

>MC is an otaku NEET loser
>he is obsessed with this one battle harem show
>he likes this one girl who he dubs as the best girl
>and he absolutely despises this one girl who he calls the worst
>he shitposts about how much he hates her on 2ch all day

>it's the first episode
>knowing the show inside out, he makes it to the battle academy to enroll
>to his horror, everybody in the harem ignores/hates him since they all wants the harem MC's dick
>everybody except the worst girl

An anime about a cute, yet broke, highschool girl joining the dumpster diving club to save money and learning how to live the extreme cheap steak life.

And also kill his dad

Cute.

Nah, too edgy.

>Virtual Sky Lanterns

It was once tradition for people to create sky lanterns, sending their prayers along up towards the heavens and hoping their messages would be answered. An app available for augmented reality devices renovates this ancient tradition: personal handwritten requests are now contained in virtual sky lanterns, publicly released into the night sky.

People carrying AR devices, such as contact lenses, smartphones or glasses, can see these messages under the viewing options. The plot follows two individuals encountering each other in a city, competing to answer these sky lanterns.

One of the individuals is a young woman volunteering for the recognition. She desires to improve her karma profile, a popular online trend designed to record altruistic actions. The second character is a heartbroken young man answering the sky lanterns to cope with separation.

Discovering these motives fosters concern. The young woman sees the young man answering the sky lanterns as an excuse to neglect the losses he suffered. The young man sees the young woman as a lonely person using the sky lanterns in hopes of find meaning in her vacant life.

As the two characters work together for certain requests, they begin to understand each other, eventually leading them to answer one another’s sky lantern request: helping the young man accept separation and finding a purpose in life for the young woman.

How are they even part of his harem if they hate him?

Harem MC is the bland self insert main character of the fictional show that our MC is obsessed about.

He wakes up as himself in another world, not as the MC.

An AU where Japan is run by black people

...

That will interesting to watch at least

Exactly, and he will be kinda of an antagonist, trying to make the girls understand how shitty the MC is and only the bad girl getting it.

For a long time it's been agreed that the center of Earth was a large iron core. This agreement is completely shattered when scientists manage to finally dig down to the core, only to discover an unimaginably large beating heart in the center of the world, shaking everything Mankind's known about Earth down to its very core.

Mysteriously of all, this massive heart is in a ridiculously large cavern, and in this cavern is a sprawling metropolis of a lost civilization with a cult-like mentality who defend and maintain this heart, having never seen the surface of Earth even once.

The greatest minds in the world come together to try and learn what this is. Meanwhile, colonies on Mars also discover that the dormant Mars itself has a massive heart at its center, however it isn't beating and is shriveled, which is assumed to correlate to why Mars is inactive

Strange occurrences happen as many scientists, politicians, and theologians who have been big names in trying to solve the mystery are assassinated one by one, with nobody to blame.

The MC is a budding "scientist" with basic military training. He is nearly murdered due to his studies on Earth's heart but his expertise allowed him to survive and identify his attackers as people wearing white garbs and red masks over their faces. Thinking that pursuing this group will help him in unlocking the secrets of the heart at Earth's core, the MC takes matters into his own hands to find out who they are and track them down in a suspenseful sci-fi mystery drama. Many friends and family get involved and kidnapped, and their lives are threatened if the MC continues "putting his nose in affairs above his understanding".

Does he continue, knowing that the people he loves' lives are on the line? Or does he falter, and desist all studies of this heart? The MC's on the verge of discovering something that Man was not meant to comprehend, and there are people willing to sacrifice everything to silence him.

An English-language anonymous imageboard gains fame in Japan for its innovative anime plot proposals, entering the mainstream cultural consciousness. This prompts animation studios of all stripes to seriously consider animating the most well-received story ideas and make it their own to create fresh anime devoid of the hackneyed tropes that have come to plague the industry.

In this anime, we will see studios selecting their own pet project and working on it. A layer of complexity is added by the difficulty of attributing ideas to the original writer. Some studios elect to just base their anime on the imageboard plot summary wholesale, which backfires when someone claiming to be the original writer of one of the most-hyped plot summaries sues a company for plagiarism, seeking unreasonable royalties.

This is an ambitious story covering the relationships between friends bonded by their animation to each other, the nuance of grand strategy in securing the next ratings hit by the senior management of animation companies and the legal battles to claim credit for the best works.

The point isn’t how well the story succeeds in conveying an idea but in how successful it is at inspiring viewer input, which may or may not even be related to the thematic point of the narrative. A successful postmodern narrative is written in such a way that is incredibly easy to imagine the characters doing something unrelated to the plot or living their own lives outside of it. This also somewhat explains the prevalence of slice of life anime. Actual story is becoming less and less important – they make us question whether it’s even relevant at all, as long as the viewer can create their own.
This explains why anime like Legend of the Galactic Heroes and the more recent Shinsekai Yori, both incredibly intelligent series which have a dedicated English-speaking fanbase, do not sell well to the otaku audience. It’s probably not because they think the story is bad or uninteresting. They are good stories in their own right, but they are self-contained and the characters are only fully relatable when approached within their own setting. These series offer no potential beyond what they have already shown and thus, there is no point in investing further in the series.

Underrated pasta.

Please give my plot more (You)s.

>"Yer a wizard, Harry," said Haggard, a very large man. His clothes were old and tattered, his mouth a big, friendly, misshapen and yellowed mess, his beard great, brown, and bushy. He smelled of urea and body odor.

>Harry turned from his computer desk to face Haggard, wiping cheezo-puffy dust on his MLP shirt. He had a beard of his own, though it more resembled a great mass of overgrown pubic hair than Haggard's own glorious, food-encrusted mane. A small collection of pissbottles lay behind him on the floor. "I'm... I'm a what?"

>"Yer a wizard!" Haggard replied, moving in closer to Harry. "Come on! We have to get you to Asswarts! Yer going to miss yer first class!"

>Harry was silent for a moment, before his acne-ridden face grew foul. "You're one of those normies, aren't you?"

>Haggard scratched his head, dandruff pouring down. "I don't know what yer talkin' abo-"

>"All my life you Chads and your dumb sluts have been taunting me!" Harry bawled, "I was told all my life those succubi were waiting for a knight in shining armor, a nice guy like me to help them out!" He looked up at Haggard as he struggled to regain composure, pushing clumps of greasy hair out of his eyes. "But no, all they want is stupid god damn assholes!" Harry crumpled into his chair, and the room was silent but for the sound of his weeping.

>Haggard put a hand tipped with jagged, overgrown fingernails on Harry's shoulder. "I'm not here to judge ye, Harry, I'm here to help ye," he said with his winningest smile, which 9/10 dentists would agree was not very winning at all. "I'm here to take ye to a land away from here, where ye can live with people who understand you, not like the normies who birthed ye. Where," Haggard said with a twinkle in his eye and a box of Twinkies in his stomach, "ye can learn magic."

Amazing. Love to see it as an anime.

So let's do this the reverse way, shounen STYLE!

First, let's have the main character being an extremely muscular in his late 20s man who lived in a rather large village and worked so hard to be an edgy hero. The girl he love does not love him at all, as a matter of fact, she hates him and she got a reverse harem of her own. During a recent hero selection event where they find the hero of the current generation with the use of magic, he failed to become the legendary hero and his good 15 years old skinny cousin became one instead. Soon after, the cousin left the country.

It has been 3 months and he was still disappointed with the results and so was his mom, telling him to stop dreaming and face reality. He got into an argument with her and ran away from home, heading to a nearby river beside a waterfall and contemplate about his life decisions. As he was about to make a decision, the ground beneath him gave way and he fell into the river, getting swept away by a current.

When he finally got out of the situation, he found a sword pierced deeply into a rock. Believing that he was the chosen one, he tried to pull it out but failed. But not wanting to go back empty handed, he use his intelligence and brute strength from his trained muscles to destroy the rock.

After plenty of effort, he brought it back to his village. He was showing it off to the villagers expecting words of praise but no one did. They believed that the sword should be given to the hero. But not wanting his effort to be wasted, the MC refused to hand over the sword. His mother walked up to him and gave him a tight slap, showing extreme disappointment with him. He ran to the waterfall in shock, awe and tears.

The sword glow and a cute fairy came out, however, she told him that he was not destined to be with the sword as long as she does not accept him as a hero. But he took it that he can use the sword if the fairy accepts him as someone worthy.

Part two next.

Smoke rises from the village. Noticing this, the MC runs back towards the village with the sword, shocked to see a fire breathing ape monster burning down houses. Worried, he rushed to home and found his mother injured but still breathing. He brought her out and was about to bring her to the nearest safe area but was attacked by the monster. He begged the sword to help him but she refused.

After a short fight, the MC crush it's throat, preventing it from breathing fire. Being pissed it attacked much more aggressively towards the MC. The MC continuously begged the sword to help him but was rejected once again. The fairy smugly says on how she lives by the rules and only obeys those whom she accepts. As the MC was about to receive another blow from the monster, his mother took it for him and fainted.

The MC panics and look around for anyone for help, but there was no one. The sword won't even help him and he came into a realization, only he can help himself and his mother, ONLY HIM! Upset and angered, he crushed the monster with his bare muscular arms and hands, a feat which was normally impossible for him.

After the mess was over and the village is finally safe from the fires, the fairy was about to congratulate the MC but HE PUNCHED HER WITH ANGER. Her tooth fell off and her nose started bleeding. Her damaged body landed on a tree and she trembles with tears from her eyes. She was extremely terrified. The MC was upset. If she had help, his mother would have not been hurt. No matter how much they fought, his mother means more than anyone. He scolded the fairy as many people tried to hold him down.

"WHY DID I SPENT MY LIFE TRAINING TO GET SOMETHING LIKE YOU?!"

Deep down, he knows that it is now impossible for him to gain any form of acceptance from the fairy but he still wishes to be a hero with a sword beside him.

This is a story of an extremely muscular man in his late 20s and a fairy of the legendary sword who can't get along with each other.

Ace on the bench:

MC is a prodigy of [enter sport here] and was arguably the best player in japan during junior high. As such he fails to get in to his 1st, 2nd, and all the way through 10th choices for high school since if he cant play [enter sport here], he's not very useful, resulting in him going to a no name school concerning the sport. However he cannot let sleeping dogs lie and after seeing how bad the [enter sport here] team of the school is, he makes it is goal to coach/manage the team to nationals in a figurative middle finger to all the schools who rejected him through specific training and careful planning. "Mother, I'm Teaching My Children How To Become Super Soldiers So That I May Auction Them To A Mercenary Group... Again"
Is a shounen, slice-of-life, sci-fi, war oriented, romantic comedy-drama.

Try to give at least one commentary on another user's plot before writing yours.

that's pretty good actually, really got my interest

America is in turmoil. People are on foodstamps, unemployment at an all time high and the media covering it up and promoting race mixing with murderous baboons. In enters MC. MC is a billionaire who had spent his life surrounded by the Jewish filth and their satanic rituals but was powerless to stop it. Eventually when he gathers his wealth he decides to run for President to make his country great again. His first opponent is a black guy with a similar platform to his but he prevails and the black man becomes his loyal sidekick. He then demolishes everybody and when his fiercest rival Lyin Ted(later redeemed as soaring Ted in the Cruz redemption Arc) sacrifices his pride to help him win he beats the communist feminist Jew and restores peace and prosperity to the west. Saddest part of this anime is the part where neutral do-gooder Julian Assange is killed for doing what is right.

Would watch. I imagine it to be sort of like 20th century boys

Imagine Infinite Stratos, where invention of ISes shifted power balance in the world. The difference is that pilots are not docile and rather than serving their countries instill their own dictatorship.
Suddenly a male pilot appears. Then he fights to rise to top of the world and make all IS pilots his harem.
