No. I won't say Sup Forums hated it but they didn't like it.

Extremely mixed responses. Would have been the Mari Okada hackjob of the year if not for Mayoiga.

It was mediocre. Surprisingly not the worst anime Okada was involved in that season.

No

Great production quality, but most people got hung up on the melodramatic plot. I still thought it was AOTS for what it's worth

It was boring

Visuals were really good, a shame the content was average to bad

>They didn't kissed.
That was really upsetting.

A master piece.

Sure, the AOTY of year.

seemed to be liked when it started but as it went on less so

I liked it

Shit was gorgeous

Forced drama the animation

Forced drama and animation

God I wanted this to be so good, Trigger definitely has the potential. Great art/animation, shit plot. Guess that's what you get when you hire Okada to write your plot.

>muh FEEEEEEEEEEWINGS

Sup Forums had a severe form of autism during the show airing preventing them from understanding how characters' relationship's dynamics worked so they couldn't appreciate it.

I liked it. The stories were pretty average, save for Honoka's which was awesome and Chidori's which were shit. Hell, she was just shit in general. I can't even enjoy the fact that she lost because she made Tenga, the best character, her silver medal and cucked Nico in the process. Chidori was the fucking worst.

The threads were filled with "MUH OKADA" posts

Mayoiga was better

Welcome to the cringe zone.

No, it wasn't.

Garbage like everything produced by trigger

It was an OK drama with great designs and good animation, nothing special and very forgettable.

I found most characters very unlikable, so it was hard to get myself invested in the drama. And I didn't see the point of the whole SF aspect.

>With okada we have mayoiga
>Without okada we have the new wixoss
Is better with or without her?

I liked the music. I ended up hating every character by the end of it though, especially MC and that ridiculous bitch he should have died with.

Dropped on episode 3

Hot garbage.

Don't know about Sup Forums, but I thought it was a waste of the animators and director's talents.

I liked it overall. Redhead was obnoxious as shit and deserved every second she suffered. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that the comic-relief masochist turned out to be the most sensible person in the entire show, but he was based as fuck.

Maki was best.

>implying kiznaiver was better than mayoiga
sure

It wasn't bad or anything, just very mediocre and forgettable.

Sup Forums like an anime? You must be joking.

Just like every other seasonal anime?

It was bad.

Great sound, art, and direction. Chidori was a good seasonal waifu.

Artstyle was pretty good. I really liked the opening but the over all story was sorta meh.

I can't remember how it ended. Like i know I watched it but I forget what happened after the group hated each other. Only memorable part of the entire show was the Opening.

I loved it. The direction, the visuals and the soundtrack were all rock solid. It's a shame the story fell short. Literally wasted potential: the show.

I just fixed Kiznaiver.

I wanted to like it but I couldn't get over how the whole thing smacked of a leftover idea from Okada's adaptation of Kokoro Connect.

LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME

This, every thread turned into a Okada hate circle jerk after a few post. I remember searching for the word "okada" and getting 70+ results in most thread.

great OP

>implying mayoiga was better than kiznaiver
sure

Sup Forums wasn't all that invested in this from what I remember.

AOTY

better than the anime

I liked it a lot. honestly one of my favorites this year.

The only ones who hated it were retards trying to fit in by hating popular thigns.

>muh pain

Best girl

>popular
But user, Kiznaiver sold like ass and the threads on Sup Forums were barely active.

Yes, most of my like was for Noriko though.

Did Kiznaiver get one of those reaction guys edit every week?

I only have this.

...

Not him, but thanks.

Can we talk about how there were ZERO (0) cero hints that she liked Tenga until it was immediately plot relevant? That part alone was shit. I also wasn't sold on the MC liking the autistic girl either but they at least tried to sell that in advance.

There were
You just forgot about them

Point 'em out then.

NIco looked distraught when Tenga was worried about Chidori. This happened at the camping episode

That shot was onscreen for a split second though

Biggest problem with the series was its retarded premise.
>Let's connect people by their sense of pain, surely nothing will go wrong.
Then they build an entire city. The more they tried to explain things, the less they made sense. The same thing happened with the relationships, come to think of it.

Actually, that seems to be a recurring problem with Trigger as a whole, especially as seen in KLK. They start strong, then they try and explain their nonsense world logically, which just takes you right out of your immersion because of how insanely absurd it is.

It was pretty shit

Drama is fine but it would have been better with more sci-fi elements than just a single gimmick in the modern world.

This show was lacking something.

I do know that I really disliked the redhead. She was the worst one.

this never gets old.

Yeah, for a show based around a sci-fi element, the kiznaiver system sure was pointless.

At some point I realized the show was literally about high schoolers learning to make friends and decided I did not need to continue.

>a liked this

Only good part was the OP.

>fuck jumbled plot, no clear direction, and every episode's entire motivation to be is consisted by a female love interest demanding the main cast to do shit together because they have to.

>introduced the main characters twice, once in the first episode and the second time in the second episode

>first couple episodes were nothing but exposition and infodumping

>audience ironically expected to connect with the main character who literally cannot experience pain and is about as bland as Microsoft Sam

Had amazing cinematography and direction, despite the plot being garbage even though the concept was interesting. A typical Okada failure.
Only good characters were Niko and Yuta, the masochist was a bro but had no characterization compared to the others. Tenga and Chidori were a shit and autism duo were boring.
OP was god tier and OPOTY.

For some reason it felt like this show was made exclusively for normalfags. I couldn't get past the first few episodes.

Could you elaborate?

Sup Forums dislike this so much that the series itself was forgotten.

worst opening of the year, good animation, dumb plot, best moment was when every character got BTFO'd - I couldn't stop laughing
