A western New York woman out walking her dogs was fatally shot by a hunter who mistook her for a deer, police said.
Police said Thomas Jadlowski, 34, believed he saw a deer in a field 200 yards away when he fired the deadly shot.
Jadlowski fired the shot after sunset, which is the legal limit to hunt deer.
We can't even trust hunters to be responsible with guns now. Guns that look scary that are as deadly as guns that don't look as scary need to be seized and melted.

Who knows what happened. They said the 911 call was made 40 minutes after dark but the rule of big game hunting is you wait 30 minutes before going to retrieve a kill and in most places, it's perfectly legal to hunt up to 30 minutes after sunset.
