Jane Eyre

I can already tell this will have at least a bittersweet ending.

Thanks for doing this user. I love these adaptations.

This poor investment thing is everywhere in Victorian literature. Guess there was no such thing as stable bonds back then.

>missionary

Fucking Western culture imperialist.

we /biz now

...

>rich lady with a poor minister

This is actually a popular romance trope, believe it or not. It was either dukes or ministers.

Now we got werewolves and fallen angels. Not sure if that's better or worse.

Yeah, St. John is like a king who is perfectly happy to marry some foreign princess he doesn't love just to extend the influence of his empire.

This nigga is a zealot.

This is what you get when your religious leader doesn't marry and is all about bearing suffering

Whoa, is this in the novel?

Oh wow, the Indians are throwing rocks at him.

...Seriously, an eyepatch?

The end.

Yes it is. It's never explained.

Punished Rochester.

Implying girls don't chase wealthy men these days

A Man Robbed of His True Love

I like the artstyle so I don't care about this self-insert thing.

It's not uncommon to have a small segment where the author appears at the end of a manga.

Oh hey, that fanfic again.

Agnes Grey is good by the way. Check it out.

That was a fun read, though quite strange after having read the original work. Thanks for the storytime.

Funny how she says that and yet my mother insists I must go to college and get a college-educated wife.

...

That's all!

But that's the thing: you don't have to.

Thanks user

Whew, I thought this story was headed for a sad ending. Glad it ends happily.

Thanks for the read. Plan on posting any more of the adaptations?

There's a crazy black lady hiding in the attic. She's Rochester's first wife.
She burns the house down, killing herself and seriously injuring Rochester.
Jane runs away and nearly gets herself killed but goes back to her adulterous, cross-dressing, habitually-lying, let's-move-to-Hindustan hunk and this is somehow a win for the feminists.

You realize it's already ended, right?

>user is late to the party

I have no idea. Depends on my mood, I guess.

Thanks. It's not as shit of an ending as it looked.

Thanks user.
Read a comic adaption of it way back and knew how it ends but it was a pleasant read.
Besides this and Les Miserable what else did you dump?

Missionaries are doing the Lord's work.

I read this all the way through. I even thought it was good for something school forced me to read. I cannot remember how the fuck it ended.

tell me that st. John was their priest

Japan can't tell a catholic priest from an anglican

>Oh wow, the Indians are throwing rocks at him.

hilarious, if somewhat unrealistic

dat elephant tho

Great Expectations

Elephants appearing in India scenes are like a must.

Anyway, here's the zip file.
