From what I can tell, Minaho's come to stake her exclusive claim on her cute nephew and gether all to herself..
From what I've gleaned about the GXP novels about her interest in Seina, I think she's just trying to light a fire under the household's ass so they start tying the knot.
I still dont' know what Ringo's business is, maybe Kajishima's trying to lay down some groundwork to get a new season of GXP greenlighted.

Apparently he has material for an OVA 5, this just has to do good for them to warrant an okay. But otherwise we might get a new Isekai or a GXP (maybe with Kajishima taking the helm on that one).
Maybe overall OVA 4 will be centered on Tenchi getting married to all the girls, I doubt anything significant like a bad-guy attacking is going to happen. Unconventional stuff will most likely happen to challenge Tenchi.

Well here's what I like about Universe. Even when it does a silly off plot episode the characters are doing things. They're on ghost ships, running bars out the back of a space ship and entering alien swimsuit contests.
The OVA world is rich and detailed but it's in a very clinical sense. Universe doesn't have quite the elaborate family trees and government infrastructure but the world feels more alive because we're visiting places and seeing things.
The characters it adds contribute to the plot instead of showing up, expositing a bit abut who and how they're related and then fucking off never to actual do anything of merit.

I even like the mangas sit around the house chapters just because we have all the space adventures to balance the scales, they're a nice breather between more complicated events
