I see what you mean and why do you think that.Historically Jews, Germans, Russians and many other nations used to live here, but WW2 segregated/killed many of them. There are many pieces of foreign influence on our culture (It`s not something big, I`m talking about architecture, historically important people, music and etc). It goes back to the fact Poland has always been tollerant of jews and allowed them to settle in their borders, whilst every other european country during the middle ages and way up to around the time of Oliver Cromwell roughly was kicking them out for their schemes and trickery.
Hence Poland has always had a tighter bond with jews than any other european country, and was that was reflected in poland having the largest settlement of Jews in the world compared to anywhere else (before the second world war of course.)
