By the way, I had to clean and redraw this page twice because I clicked on the wrong button, closed the unsaved page, panicked and rather than go in the directory for the autosave, I went and reopened the original image.
Also, if you typeset, it's way more convenient to have 2 screens. That way, you have one for your translation + chat + watching Seinfeld or Monk (actually keeps me more focused on doing the manga) and one for photoshop, so your translation is always open and your photoshop is fullscreened. A mouse with programmable buttons is also fun as fuck because you can map it to have Copy and Paste right at your thumb. I might even buy an MMO mouse so I get all my most used photoshop tools right at my thumb.

In photoshop you can record a set of actions to replay them. It can be a single command like "add a white 4px stroke to the selected layer's text" or you can record the entire cleaning process so you can just replay that one on all pages instead of doing it manually every time.
