The most obvious example of propaganda anime I've watched is Yuushibu. The show is about people with big ambitions who have to give up on their dreams to work in super markets and how amazing that is. The villains are NEETs who want to wait for good jobs instead of working shit retail.

One of the reasons I can't njoy Miyazaki is the amount of propaganda and I D E O L O G Y in his movies. The only ones I liked were Spirited Away and Totoro, although my personal opinion isn't really important here.
He isn't exactly wrong about most things, it's just that the anit-war anti-human old man presents enviromental problems in a very specific, very toxic way.
Tomino also deserves special mention here but for different reasons. Duty and loyalty may have meant something at the time he was forming as an artist and as a person, but they are complely dissonant in the current world of everyone-vs-everyone-else alienation and facebook micro-singularity.
Again, his political idea(l)s aren't as bad as they are dissonant in their presentation. Nothing wrong about being loyal to your company and calm in the face of danger. It's just that, when you take the ideology at face value, it's easy to become someone's Shinji.
