HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAH

who are these people and waht did they mean by this???

>misogynistic harassment is now legal

what the fuck america

what is this about? can I get a basic gestalt?

A court denied something requested by some "Obama-era" official (?), so I assume this is positive?

>CFPB is a Democrat money laundering agency
>Obama goons try to rig the succession so another of their shills gets to be director
>Trump says no
>Trump appoints /hisguy/ Mulvaney to destroy the CFPB from the inside
>CFPB oy veys and files a lawsuit to stop dis bad goy
>Trump appointed judge says fuck off
>OYYY VEEY DIS IS A SHOAH MUH SHEKELS

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director left his his post and appointed his assistant to be acting director. Donald Trump appointed his own acting director. The two showed up for the same job on Monday, and the former assistant director sued Trump but the judge sided with Trump as Dodd Frank language gives trump that power.

I see now. Thank you for the explanation. Based Trump saving the day yet again.

Reddit is seething over the decision.

>Caring about reddit
Dont even speak of those faggots here.

>We need to keep a record of Trump appointed Judges!
>Links wikipedia
Good lord, what a faggot.

b-but what about her emails?

nice explantion

All smiles

...

>Amazing salt about Trump appointed judge
>Obama appointed judge rules against Trump and it's fine

>mfw
Is this the politics sub? It's gotta be, there's no other place with such a high concentration of retards

One of the worst places on the internet

nice

Wait. so now the left is against judges doing the bidding of the president that appointed them?

Because i don't see them complaining about Obama appointees fucking up Trumps EO's

>all these kids throwing around Fascist
>literally have no idea what Fascism even is
Word's gonna lose all meaning by the end of this administration paving the way for a real, absolutely Fascist candidate.

This is some bullshit from a whole new level of retardation that was thought impossible before now.

>Trump appointed 12 federal judges
>Obama appointed 30% of all federal judges
>Trump has packed the courts

>HOW CAN I POSSIBLY ENJOY THANKSGIVING WHEN DRUMPF EXISTS

I can only imagine what it's like, to control the minds of this many people at once.

I honestly sleep better at night, knowing that Trump is at the helm

Me, too. Literally.

Mick Mulvaney is the definition of /ourguy/

>Hey media here's some neat prototypes of the wall
>Haha okay when is Drumpf building these?
>Oh they started a few hours ago this morning
>Reeee where is this happening reeee tell us?!?!?!?!

>CFPB is a Democrat money laundering agency
not saying I don't believe, but would like sauce for elaborative purposes

>judge appointed just 2 months ago
clearly he forgot the rule that judges can only make effective rulings after the 3 month mark

this so much this

not only that, King Nigger expanded the number of judges just so he could pack even more in

...

Do you not see the image?

Elizabeth Warren set it up and gave it zero oversight. It answers to no one. Or do you believe it's just a COINCIDENCE that they only gave payouts to Democrats?

The president has supreme authority over making appointments to the executive branch, if this one shitty agency can just keep playing duck duck goose appointing acting directors at their own discretion they are acting outside the bounds of the Constitution. This was never going to be upheld.

>the judge needs to be impeached and thrown in jail for blatant corruption when this is all over
They think it is going to end

I understand and am more than willing to believe that this is a fraudulant bureaucratic entity. I am also interested in seeing some documentation that describes what their stated purpose is and what they actually did during Obama era.

opensecrets.org/donor-lookup/results?name=&cycle=&state=&zip=&employ=Consumer Financial Protection Bureau&cand=

the dems thought the CFPB would be their own quasi-governmental fiefdom. they are paid by the fed and not congress. they are not elected and they are unaccountable. how the courts even allow this to exist is beyond me.

"October 11, 2016, in PHH Corp. v. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, a three-judge panel of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals found the CFPB’s structure unconstitutional and “fixed” it by empowering the president to remove the agency’s director at will."

well that's great. but how about congressional oversight? the executive already has far too much power.

"As a Jewish graduate of a liberal college living on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, I fit the stereotypical Democratic profile. In fact, my primary influences were my business-school professors at the University of Chicago, the epicenter of free-market capitalism. I supported the agency Warren proposed in 2007 for the same reason I had worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission — accurate information improves markets’ efficiency. I had not read important sentences at the bottom of the Dodd-Frank Act’s thousands of lines of text. In March of 2011, I interviewed with Richard Cordray, the pre-operational agency’s new enforcement chief. By May, I had surrendered my prized rent-stabilized apartment and moved to Washington to be the CFPB’s 13th enforcement attorney. I would not have been so lucky two months later. As screening techniques improved, Republicans were more easily identified and rejected. Political discrimination was not necessarily illegal, but attempts to hide it invited prohibited race, gender, religion, and age discrimination. In retrospect, the Office of Enforcement’s hiring process, which was typical for the bureau, violated more laws than a bar-exam hypothetical."

Damn, I forgot how fucking retarded reddit is

>judge needs to recuse himself for being appointed by Trump

are these people serious?

Thanks user.

This makes me wonder who those "one republican" individuals are. I suspect McCain is probably one of them.

I have a feeling they weren't crying about dictatorships when Obama appointed judges were trying to block the travel ban

$114,000 is pretty much chump change.
594-1 bias is pretty absurd though.

I'm waiting for Trump to split the federal circuit courts, the 9th in particular.

Romney.

more like the most botted/shilled

>pol
Why do you guys cheer the dismantling of CFPB and shill for WS to get rid of Dodd-Frank?

>In 2016, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit held that the CFPB was unconstitutional because it gave unprecedented executive authority to a “single, unaccountable, unchecked Director.”

>Because the CFPB is an independent agency headed by a single Director and not by a multi-member commission, the Director of the CFPB possesses more unilateral authority – that is, authority to take action on one’s own, subject to no check – than any single commissioner or board member in any other independent agency in the U.S. Government. Indeed, as we will explain, the Director enjoys more unilateral authority than any other officer in any of the three branches of the U.S. Government, other than the President.

Extremely powerful agency with huge jurisdiction that answers to no one AND it's 99%+ Democrat? Fuck off with that shit.

Because Dodd-Frank is a globalist scheme created to benefit multi national corporations and banks and not the average account holder or borrower. It's bad policy at its core.

>why are conservatives against one of the many Obama-created government bureaucracies that was given too much power

gee I dunno, guess I'm a SHILL4HILL now

What powers do they have?

>here it is folks
>this is the end of America.........
>uhhhh, fascism
>God.......Fucking.....dammit
WHY do they speak like this

Fauxcahontas is already sending smoke signals to Chief Soros, asking him to send wampum to hire bigger shill party.

>By statute, the CFPB is tasked with implementing and enforcing most federal consumer financial law. ... The power to enforce federal consumer financial law against any “covered person” grants the CFPB at least some authority to oversee nearly the entire financial sector.

Explain. I don't know what the CFPB is or who Mulvaney is supposed to be. My usual stance is Straya doesn't have one so it probably doesn't matter anyway.

godamn fucking niggers

Holy fuck. That's a lot of power. Killing this unconstitutional agency will speed up the MAGA process, it must be dismantled just like the department of education. I was also hoping DeVos was going to be a dumb broad and crash the department with no survivors, too bad she's good.

And this ladies and gentlemen is why the President getting his judges appointed is so important.

That's the argument, less regulation?
Like muh socialism? Why not push for a bipartisan approach instead of dismantling it? What is wrong about the protection of consumer rights? I unironically don't get it.
An institution protecting consumer rights is pretty standard over here.
They were partly responsible for banning call center cold calls to private people.
Are businesses allowed to cold call american households?

See
It's basically kikes and Nu-males writing laws on how you can conduct business. That's a lot of power imo because they could make up a tax on random shit or encourage businesses to do something they want, like match for Bernie

so wait, this bitch filed a restraining order on the guy too?
If true then I definitely support him.
UNDER BUDGET AND AHEAD OF SCHEDULE.
MAGA

Now that's what I call a quick rundown.

“Yeah, my opinion of the structure of CFPB has not changed,” Mulvaney said. “I still think it is an awful example of a bureaucracy that has gone wrong. It is almost entirely unaccountable to the people who are supposed to oversee it or pay for it.”

“I still have the same fundamental principled misgivings about the way this bureau is structured,” Mulvaney said. “I think it is wrong to have a completely unaccountable federal bureaucracy. I think it’s completely wrong.”

“I’m just learning about the powers that I have as acting director,” he added. “They would frighten most of you. They would probably worry you to think about how little oversight Congress has over me now as I’m the director, how little oversight the committees have over how CFPB functions.”

“If you really studied the constitutional nature of our government, you’ve studied the way that the bureaucracy is supposed to work, it would both frighten and disturb you that this agency is as independent as it is,” he said.

That's why

YOU'RE CATCHING ON.

I hope you didn't have to go to the source to get that.

It needs oversight and checks. It was ruled unconstitutional and has too much power as is.

I see. He sounds like he'll be fairly hand-off is he disrespects his position that much. Sounds like a good thing for the market.

So you get rid of it instead of improving it?

If it cannot be held accountable it should be destroyed.

Mulvaney is likely going to look into the records and pull out some skeletons in the closets.

>Consumer Financial Protection Buerau
>unaccountable bueracracy that spies on your financial transactions
>by law the president has the power to appoint a new person to run it
>Obama era head says no and picks some piece of shit leftist
>judge btfo’s Obama

Tldr We are the Captain now

such is life under talmudic rule

Thanks, while they destroy it, do they at the same time work on a concept for it's replacement or is this just about dismantling and putting consumer protection on ice?
What is wrong with Dodd-Frank in your opinion?

Goes after smaller banks more than big banks. It's jewed.

Call center cold calls are not banned.

The CFPB is part of a group of regulations and regulators that make it nearly impossible to not lend money and even harder to collect.
For instance, you cannot take into account if someone is on public assistance, but you also cannot garnish those funds to get your money back.
How obongo and D.C. "Fixed" the financial crisis was to create a larger problem, through various new laws and agencies, some without typical constitutional over sight.
As is common, what conceptual may be a decent idea upon implementation turned retarded.

Did you not bother reading?? It was Romney

Bureaus never improve, just get larger and waste more money.

>waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh
Some things (...like krautrabia, for instance...) must be completely incinerated to remove its disgusting smell and infestation.

Ok that's bad. Why not fix that instead of repealing?
I mean GS is now half of the cabinet and suddenly it's all about deregulation, tax cuts, getting rid of Dodd-Frank..doesn't this make you feel uncomfortable knowing about what happened in 2008?

How specifically would the CFPB stop a future financial crisis?

Mick is a great pick. I suggest you watch some of this, it's really good.
youtube.com/watch?v=ea3h-jInWJY&t=9s

>tfw no comfy leader actively trying to improve your country

Hmm, no recent update.

It can be fixed by shrinking and firing most of the staff, then given new guidelines and restrictions on how to work. If it's completely rotten, then the agency will have to be fully dismantled. Mulvaney is doing this.

Clearly crucial priorities...

Because they're sheep. They don't understand what happened, who was involved, or what it means- but they've been taught that "trump = bad" therefor "trump does something == bad"

In order to "fit in" they must insult or oppose this, but since they have no argument or opinions, they resort to "WTF"

good read.
What I don't get is the american mentality of either / or in that regard or is this some legislative issue?
I mean if it was bad why not fix it?
You have two basic ideas:
1. you don't want 2008 to happen again
2. laws trying to prevent this don't work efficiently enough
Why is your conclusion to get rid of it instead of modifying it?
This is not meant rhetorical, maybe it's a legislative issue I don't know.

>Of the 594 donor entries who listed the agency as their employer, one went to Mitt Romney

I'll never understand why these people want the Federal Government in their lives so much that when someone they don't like is elected they suffer this much emotional stress and turn on their families.

...

Because if you fix it another administration can just fuck it up again. Literally we're so retarded that some fuckwit would try and make life harder for everyone else down the line in order to line his donors pockets in the here and now.

>how is an agency set out to stop reckless business behavior stopping us from people creating financial crisis by reckless business behavior?
Seriously?
How is getting rid of it specifically stopping a future financial crisis?

Bureaus never get "fixed" in the way a normal person would consider fixed.
More bad law piles up on more bad law until the fix makes it even worse.
Nane the last governmental agency the us gov actually fixed within budget?

Good

TY

nigger, go to any government office and interact with the (((priority hires))) and then come back and lecture us about the benefits of (((government))).
