Mazinger Z.

A bit of astro boy, but if you mean really watched then speed racer, that was a fun show.

Re:Zero

I used to watch VHS recordings of this and Gigantor when I was a kid.

Hakujaden (1958)
Holds up as a very good movie.

Sword art online

I love watching retro stuff lol reminds me of pokemon black 0.o

Imokawa Mukuzo: Genkanban no Maki (1917)

Dragon Ball.

Nobita and the Steel Troops (1986)
Still remember how I had to rewind the VHS tape by hand to rewatch it

Kinnikuman

Doubutsu Sumo Taikai (1931)

Dragonball and Bruce Lee:Post-Apocalyptic Edition

Hachi

mother fucking Hachi the honeybee

the episode when he got mistakenly killed a moth still hits me hard. also the genocide episode.

Kitaro (1968)

Probably just something from Ghibli

That shit is so edgy for a kid show. Almost every episode always have someone dying at the end.

Literally the anime that irreversibly traumatized me in my childhood and made me the man that I am today.

...

The Lion King
1965 - Buena Vista International

Tales of a Street Corner 1962

I had a bit of a phase a few months ago where i watched loads of shorts and eventualy dove into watching alot of the pre war animation that survived, i know iv watched the first recorded japanese animation but thats no more than a 3 second squiggle.
my favorate from that era
Would have to be Spider and tulip, it uses some really dated but interesting animation techniques, and its also charming as fuck.
Id also recomend any of the ww2 propoganda animations like momotarou no umiwashi

Astro Boy

The oldest show worthwhile watching.

K-On

Probably Maison Ikkoku.

Have you even seen anything older?

For all your reaction image needs

I haven't and that's why I can be so certain.

Oh yeah i saw that on tv several times
also Astroboy

oh god no fuck that

NausicaƤ, read and watched

Some mecha anime was the first I saw when I was still in daycare. That counts as the oldest chronologically.

As for when the anime was actually made, fuck if I know, there's a metric ton of old stuff I've watched.

Birdy decode

>"lets make a children anime about life!"
>proceed to make a children anime about how horrible life is

I used to obsessively watch Maya the Honeybee as a kid, and I've seen a few episodes of the 1966 Osomatsu-kun series too.

Stop! Hibari-kun!
