During the "steal-the-flag" part of the sport event. He was been totally outsmarted by that guy from the other class, but he got mad and suddenly the strategy was ineffective. They even flat out declared that cleverness is nothing compared to stubborness. except that Bakugo isn't stubborn, he's just out of control.
He's a kid that was raised in a self-esteem vacuum, and turned into an asshole. Most teenagers are assholes. You were probably even more of an asshole during high school, too.
It's kind of refreshing to see, actually. Bakugou doesn't really have a reason for being all retarded with his emotions, he's just a shitty kid, except this time he's a main character, so we're forced to deal with him. BnHA is one big backstory narrated by a future Deku. The point is that things will change.
I actually was the target of those "assholes". Maybe that's because I hate Bakugo so much, he reminds me of them. I still have some unresolved rage because I always wanted to give them some comeuppance.

but with this one I can stand it even if I hate him, maybe because I had an ex friend which turned in a jerk just like him when he grew up, so I learned to ignore this type of ppl/characters
and just like him, this ex friend of mine used to be my best friend when we were kinds, he was good at everything and because of that I admired him. But because he was good at everything, he would receive constantly acclaims and started to hat my guts after I grew, stopped being shy and got better at stuff than him because he got lazy
