The study also found that 60 percent of respondents (up from 58 percent) think the EU as an institution benefits Finnish national security.

NATO membership would raise the threshold for a russian invasion just enough that they wouldn't invade just to secure the bothnian bay and control of waterways to stockholm for insurance or for shits and giggles.
