I hate how the anime fucked up and missed the point of Star Platinum showing Jotaro's real emotions.
Jotaro's entire shtick in the manga is that he wears a poker face 24/7 while his real emotions are actually visible on Star Platinum's face.
In the anime SP does that maybe twice and rest of the time it's just angry ora ora shouting.

To be fair it seems as the anime removed some of Za Warudo's expressions too. People think Za Warudo is supposed to be just a stoic juggernaut, but in the manga, it often imitates DIO's faces.
Jotaro is not nearly as unexpressive as people assume though.

He does it way more times in the fucking manga.

Generally as pointed out, Part 3 adaptation completely fucking dropped the ball on Jotaro's, SP's and Za Warudo's expressions.

SC really should have been 39 episodes like DiU. That ended up working really well for the pacing and whatnot.

We did not need almost a full episode for the chapter in SC with Suzie Q.

Yeah I didn't really like part 4 myself. It had high points with Takagi as Okuyasu and Morikawa as Kira.
Not a big fan of the music either. Although tracks Like "Killer" sound nice I feel the whole adaptation in regards to Kira, including the music, was not serious enough and carried that comical undertone that fit the earlier parts of part 4. But again, Morikawa made up for the character in his performance

Yeah I forgot to add "and voice acting" to my list of pros for the P4 adaptation.

Generally all JoJo parts in my eyes do the music and voice acting in stellar way. Part 4 did have serious music when it counts although I was very disappointed with how much they reused from Part 3 OST, especially near the end for the Kira fight.

The actual soundtrack is great, DP is just really bad at using it. I have no idea why, either. It's fucking bizarre.

I prefer "least good".
It's still very good, its only fault is taking too long on some episodes and botching a bit of animation here and there. Part 4 has the benefit of better source material, but despite loving it I'd say its faults are more numerous. More stuff got the ax, and then there's things like the quality being more apparent, shittier backgrounds etc.
Hopefully part 5 will get 39 episodes as well, and with it being more fast paced and also a few chapters shorter, I'm sure it'll be fitting.

I'm sure I'm biased because Crusaders is my favorite part, though. But God damn watching it made me feel so disappointed. Re-reading the manga just makes the anime all look and feel so bland in comparison to it.
VA is my second favorite part, and I think 39 eps would be perfect for it. With a shorter story to fit under that amount of episodes, all they've learned, and considering what I think they mess up the most is the humor and what they handle the best is the emotional scenes and how much more serious VA is compared to the earlier parts, I've a strong feeling that it will be David's best adaptation so far.
