wasn't just you

It was pretty damn comfy, even character deaths were comfy. Kinda weird.

At some point in time I have to go through most of the episodes and make some papes. Some frames were pretty damn nice.

I think it's because of the bgm.

here's the rest that i have

didnt make one for the OVA proper

Maximum dead/s2 never too, fuck.

>tfw season 2 never ;_;

This was my favorite when it aired.
Is the LN being translated?

Dead since its licensed, unless you just found out there is a translation.

Damn, the translation must be going pretty slow then?

Yeah, only 1 arc of "orc castle invasion" and a bit of the aftermath before I saw it getting licensed.Maybe a year or two for the company to catch the translation.

surprisingly fast, actually. even compared to fanlations. it was licensed, but not by a big name like yen press that does its releases twice a year (looking at you, SAO)

J-Novel Club got it and announced the license at the end of october
V1 is complete and was released on the 16th, available in both print and ebook, surprisingly

they release them on a per-chapter basis on their website, every week. V2 is already well over half done last i checked

>they release them on a per-chapter basis on their website, every week. V2 is already well over half done last i checked
Pretty cool.

Something about these visuals and this town is just so cozy. A perfect lvl 1 quest hub town.

It's a shame this guy was limited by the usual airing anime time and money budget, I love his works as a director.

Most underrated show of this year.

Oh sweet. Definitely getting them.

I think the art and soundtrack were pretty good, but the character development and story were a bit lack luster.

Also, it's probably never going to get brought up but I wish they talked about how/why they're in this random place that obviously isn't where they were originally living.

Stuff youre asking would be in the LN naturally, this is an LN advertising or probably some will say a band ad first than a proper telling of the story and it is incomplete itself so far.

Character development was rather slow at first but it did pick up near the end.
This guy is right it's definitely just an ad for the light novel.

grimgar has that wonderful quality of looking great regardless of where you take a screenshot

only a few media, anime or otherwise, share that ability. i'm talking western works like Tron Uprising and games like Journey, Abzu, and Shadow of the Colossus

things like Madoka, Flip Flappers and Kiznaiver fit the bill too, but then it's more just a matter of taste

What ever happened to the manga?

Was maximum slow.

You know, there is no problem with slow pacing, but when you skip dialogues with character and world building from the novels and replace them with backgrounds for minutes then there is a problem.

More like maximum boring.

Nice, I'll wait till they catch up with current fantranslations and order them in bulk

It was one of the best isekai, with best ass.

Maximum comfy alert.

>Aiura backgrounds
Maximum comfy.

It started out that way then when that faggot died I wanted the show to end ASAP because that's all they fucking talked/cried/moaned about.

The start was REALLY fucking good though, A group struggling to take down some basic goblins was fucking great to watch but the author fucked up in killing the healer so early on.

More like Grimgarbage, right?

The problem was more that the dialogue was cut to make room for more music.
It's a problem with modern late-night anime series being co-productions between several companies forming up into committees.

>the monsters were also isekai'd
Puts the conflicts in a whole new light.

>Aiura director
>Yume's armpits and ass
Yeah, it was good.

Yume is my Yome.

More like yumASS.

...

>>Aiura director
TIL more reason to love it

The closest we will ever get to an Etrian Odyssey anime.
A shame there is no good sweet vanilla porn.

Gotta add some tension, and what better way to do that and make everyone else step up than to kill off the one decently skilled guy? Granted, most shows wait until later on to do that, but that's whatever.

Season 2. When. Please.

Now when i've watched the whole thing i feel that it was pretty enjoyable. I feel that because it was going so slow when it was airing I didn't really enjoy it. I should've waited when all the episodes had aired. I feel that watching the episodes weekly didin't do the show justice. It was pretty enjoyable afterall

Well, without Toho it won't even get anime at all.

Yeah, but there comes a point where producers really shouldn't tell directors which dialogue to cut just to promote a music band.

Why do you faggots exist, a show adds meaningful drama and you immediately start whining.

Armpits.

It was very good up until the MC soloed the final boss

It is perfectly reasonable for people to want different things from anime

You must resist.

Are you projecting your HV experience on this show?

BEST

Yume a cute

merry is best girl and will win

Haruhiro smells like _____

Unfortunately the LN is bad. Surprisingly bad, it's fanfic tier. The anime team did an amazing job. The best moments of the anime are not even there in the LN, or they happen in a way that makes them much worse. Image related.

>watercolor background
>OST
>SoL pace
>Yume's ass, Mary's legs, Shihoru's tiddies
>Ranta's bantz
pretty comfy.

This.
There are some shows that are better watched in one go while others should be watched weekly.

>no smelly twink pits

someone pointed it out a long while back, but was there ever a reason why they couldn't start farming?

More like maximum pity party.

For starters, they don't have a farm, and since they were summoned to be cannon fodder adventurers, nobody would hire them as farm hands anyway.

That actually explains a lot.
The goblins in the anime looked like they were almost nomadic.

I wanted to fuck everyone in this show.

>Madoka
I love Madoka but you couldn't be more wrong

It was maximum shit.

Yume is the cutest
She has a very huggable butt

I'll read it, gotta judge for myself. Hope it's not as bad as you say.

I thought it was boring as hell.

>this is my aots
>Sup Forums shits on it while its airing
A small part of me died that day

Eh, it was decently popular on Sup Forums during its airing.
Of course, most of it was from fa/tg/uys coming to discuss on Sup Forums while also talking about longspear weapons and D&D and stuff.

I remember those threads. Would finish watching it at night and join the threads.
Max comfy
Good times.

Comfy is just another way to say boring.

Personally, I think the show had a good balance of action, some drama, fan service for both men and women, character interaction and stuff.

The music felt bad, but then again, that's been said already.

I could listen to Hosoya's voice for days

Yume had the best butt, Shihoru had the best tits and Mary had the best hips.

his boyfriend's feet

I'd sample Yume

The LN is better in several cases, though. The anime took a steaming shit on Ranta, and it gloriously fucked up the Death Spots fight to the point where it just looked stupid. The LN's got tremendous pacing issues, but the anime adaptation cut so many corners it's arguably just as bad from a different context.

>maximum comfy
>one member died
>all of them got depressed
No nigga.

More like Grimgar of Fantasy and Ass, am i right

I actually adored Grimgar, I'll make sure to remind myself to begrudgingly read the English translation in 2025

Priest was best, I hope the MC stops being a fucking faggot at some point and ends up with her, but we all know it'll never happen.

>/tg/fags got to discuss Grimgar and Konosuba in the same season
Say what you want about the shitposting, but Winter was fun as hell if you knew where to lurk

She's a treacherous cunt, Haruhiro deserves better than that shitty excuse for a "human", if she even is one.

Action and choreography was great. Felt like I was watching a bunch of idiots who had never even gotten into a playground fight suddenly be dropped into a fight-or-die conflict. They got better, they got cocky, they paid for it, got their shit together and got better. Unfortunately, the ending fight was completely stupid and a partial? deus ex machina. Yes, we were lead to believe that crits are good, but that was beyond retarded.

Visuals were great and that's coming from someone who almost never gives a shit about anything related to visuals/graphics.

Characters could've been handled better. I liked how it wasn't power of friendship/let's all get along as if nobody had flaws. They were in a shitty situation, personalities flared and clashed. But it still felt lacking.

Story and story telling were awful. Pacing was abysmal, which of course exacerbated the story issues. It's not "nothing happens" like in K-On, but holy shit it was bad.

+++++Thief-sensei
+Yume
+Character interaction

-Last fight

I want to fuck Mary

...

>a couple arguing and some fat guy speaking nonsense in between

Soooo, Ranta die in the LN?

also the pacing and artstyle

No, but Mary's going to wish he had.

This show was a gem. Really enjoyed it. Hope we can get more fantasies or 'isekai' in this down to earth format.

...

it was so sad when mogzo died

...

> Unfortunately the LN is bad.
Nope. Some anime-original content was god (95% of it is with Mary), but other changes were bad.
I read 3 volumes and really liked, especially 1st and 3rd.
Manato best guy, Mary best girl.

Same for me with Ranta's death.

The characters were all complete shit and literally nothing happened at all, so I wound up dropping it about 5 or 6 episodes in. Did it continue to suck til the end, or did something decent actually happen?

I liked the slow pacing. Made things feel very comfy and real. The only con is that it was only 12 episodes, so with that pacing it felt like we saw jack shit. Would love a 52 episode anime with that speed.

Reminder that Mery wants the D as of the latest volume.

I prefer the spinoff where the main character went straight for the orcs and lucked his way through. He was also fucking insane.

this show was irritating, fucking noobs never acted like they wanted to stop being noobs. they should be glad for their bacon that wherever the fuck they are is not dark souls

>summary never
Shit.
